Thank you Dan for the nice comments on my Bush Garden Duck image. I had mixed emotions about posting this image. I appreciate your encouragement and support.

Hi Dan, glad you liked "Cloud Walking". The colors were certainly a surprise to me - way different from what I expected before I visited this park! Regards. Miriam
Hi Dan, many thanks for stopping by and commenting on "Pompous Lilly"! Her pomposity is outstanding, don't you think, smiling! I appreciate your visit and your thoughts! Sincerely, Marilyn
Hiya Dan!
I am flattered you stopped by to see my work!
I was so new back then...and I think I rec'd more negative comments than good on that..but I liked it and despite my old camera that wasn't up to par, somehow it has held a spot and not been deleted yet by the moderators. Thanks so much for liking it! I'll hafta stop by and see if you have a gallery...! :) Cheers! Terri
Re: Nature's Design:
Thanks: I am always surprised when somebody finds my older stuff...{thanks for browsing!}. This was before I upgraded cameras, and I used my Sony CD Mavica. It was one of those nights when the photo bug bites and ya have nowhere to go but just gotta find something to "shoot" . :)
I’m glad you like “Curiosity” Dan, thank you. I didn’t ask it anything because it looked huge through the viewfinder, in fact it looked like I might get eaten!
hi there .. I am glad you stopped by to look at (and like)
Gettin an Earfull (and I hope that link worked!!) Those geese certainly are mean and I tend to back away when they start that. I was far enough away for that shot so it did not matter.
Hey Dan, thank you for the nice comment on 'Final Approach'. We were passing the beginning of the runway on our boat and with some unplanned good timing, was able to catch this jet on its final approach.
thanks dan for saying that you liked the colorado river picture. i was up there for 3 days taking photos. because the scenery is so spectacular i came back with so many images. i'm sending you a personal message. jen
Hi, with regards to "Grand Canyon Overlook, Humphreys Peak in the distance is just over 12,000 feet. It's the highest point in Arizona and indeed the views are spectacular. You can see much of the state of Arizona from the top, including the Grand Canyon which is quite an unusal point of view. You have to be really careful about thunderstorms on top as the peak makes it's own weather with lots of lightning. At night, I've seen a blueish green glow eminating above the peak - not sure if it was the Northern Lights or if it was from the "spirits" that live on the mountain according to Native American folklore. Either way its a spectactular and magical place.
