Hi again,
Reference: Stolen Rose In The Rain. How did I get that to come out so focused? Well, ya gotta start with a half ways decent camera. If it has a macro setting use it. I used a Sony F-707 and had it on a tripod and shot it real up close. Thks for viewing.

Hi Vanessa, thanks for the visit to ~silent sentry~. My hubby and I were at the cemetery to place flowers on loved ones graves and as we were driving down the road I looked over and there was our "sentry". I began shooting from the car in case the fawn spooked, then I quietly got out and began shooting, all the time moving at an angle toward the deer. I can only presume that something greater than me chose me to take this image to share with all my friends here.........that is how I got so close :)

This park is in a small city in Ontario, just across the river from Michigan. It is an amazing little place not even well known by the locals. Some nice little old lady left it to the city when she died.

hey thanks so much for your comment on my lighter fire water post! it was taken in lexington kentuck at triangle park...its really a cool place...its right in the middle of downtown lexington and it is actually a triangle with roads on all sides. if you take a look at my "wall of water" post..that is also in the park. in the "wall of water" people were wading in it..walking up and down, and in the fire water picture little kids were trying to block it up by sitting on it...it was so much fun to see especially at 11:00 at night on a sunday. thanks again..so glad you enjoyed it! ~abby

A million thanks for taking a stroll with me and checking out the "Dunajec castle". Frankly speaking it is the weather which made the photo so attractive. It contributed immensely to the atmosphere of the place. After all it seems castles and ruins is one my favourite categories.

I try to get as close to these bugs as possible, sometimes even intereferring with their private life, lol. They seem to have nothing against it and sometimes even reward me with a nice pose...

Hey there Vanessa. Thanks for the comment on my "Surfin'" Image. My dog loves to get cooled off in my pool but the waters too deep so... she likes to climb on her board and surf the waves! Haha.. well not really.. although she did walk on to it herself and she does love the water... and she balences well lol.
