Thank you for your support in his series. Antelope Canyon #6 is one of my favorite images. My all time favorite one will be posted tomorrow . I am thrilled by the fact that you have enjoyed this journey into the unknown with me. My ability to create photos of theses beautiful places is only on loan to me from a higher being. Someday I will be required to give then back. Until then I thank Him every morning and then attempt to show the world as a beautiful place. Thanks again for the support.

Matosinhos I was the contractor engineer of this sculpture.
The sculpture was constructed in the Portuguese City of Matosinhos.
It was designed by Janet Echman, she lives at USA.
The circle has 45 m diameter and 25 ton.
It is supported by three piles, the main pile is 50 m heigth.
It is a wonderfull to see the net dancing on the wind.

Hey! Thanks Don for your kind comment on my 'rainforest'. The foggy weather in the forest was very interesting for a photographer, but not for the walkers ;-)
Hi Don, thanks for helping me to wake the others up! LOL! I discovered that bending the petals back slightly lended a little interest, a little character to the image. What do you think? Yes I agree that this time of the yr, people love to be outdoors and to do things other than computing. Maybe this could influence a drop in comments!! Just a guess. Thanks for stopping by for a visit and for a little humor! Sincerely, Marilyn
Don,
I would like to thank you so very much for all of the kind words that you left for me, and others, to read about my Antelope Canyon series. I am truly humbled by the way you followed the series to the end. I have often made the decision, to leave Caedes but the enthusiasm that you ( and others) show for my images has kept me here. This is my fourth or fifth series that I have posted. Although the responses have always been good, NONE has received the wonderful responses that Antelope Canyon has. This series had brought back many memories of Annie and my trek through this magical place. When I posted my last image and shut down the series, which was difficult to do, I felt that I had said goodbye to an old friend. With deep humility, and bowed head, Thank you so very much for your support.

Thanks for telling me about Caedes! This is fun but it is hard to wait 24 hours to post another photo. Oh well, I guess I have plenty of other things to do in my spare time, right??? See you soon!
Hey Don! What zoom? You think I used my zoom to get the "What's for Lunch" shot??? Well, yeah, actually I did - I kept as much space between us as possible!!! Thanks for the comments!!!!!!!
Hey!! Don't make fun of my kitty!! He is beautiful!! Hahaha! Better than Jersey anyways!! JK. Well, i like your pictures, very good! I wish I had a better camera. How much are you selling yours for?? lol L8R!!

Don, I've been on another trip since 5/17, so I'm running a bit late. Many thanks for your kind comments on my Great Sand Dunes at Sunset picture. I'm very pleased you enjoyed this shot! Mike
Hi there, thank yu so much for your comment on my Mossy Tree...you have lived in ORegon before? Well it seems the ferns and mosses are climbing trees more and more LOL...
Don, I really appreciate your comments on "Desert Sunrise". For another perspective of the same formations look at my post for tonight "At the Giants Feet"
The aim of every artist is to arrest motion, which is life, by artificial means and hold it fixed so that a hundred years later, when a stranger looks at it, it moves again since it is life. Since man is mortal, the only immortality possible for him is to leave something behind him that is immortal since it will always move. This is the artist’s way of scribbling; “Kilroy was here” on the wall of the final and irrevocable oblivion through which he must someday pass.

Hey Don - on "Days Gone By", I took the color out of this photo, but if you look at the original shot there wasn't much color to begin with - it was a really gray day. Thanks for checking it out!
Ha-Ha, on "Which Way Should I Go?" -- Haley wasn't with me when I took this -- Good thing, right?? She stayed home to make a snowman while Matthew and I went "picture hunting"!!
One more time and I think I'm caught up! Thank you for the very nice comments on "Outrageous Orange" - you know I value your opinion!!! I thought you might recognize this flower - I have pictures also of the exact same tulips you have posted on here - great place for photos, right?
Hey!! Thanx for the comment about Jupiter!! lol Neways, about his saddle, we have one in the attic... we're thinking about breaking him in in about a month! lol neways i'll c u l8r, prolly on Sat.. i kno u can't wait!! jk
Hi Don, many thanks for comments on "Pink Rainbow"! Yes, I do think the sunlight and myself were on pretty good terms that day because I was happy with the shot too. Of course the colors didn't deter me either LOL! Sincerely, Marilyn
But words are things, and a small drop of ink, falling, like dew, upon a thought produces that which makes thousands, perhaps millions think and smile.
Art is everywhere, except it has to pass through a creative mind.
Hi again - I didn't know you were such a poet!!! Thank you for the "words" you left on "Perfect Ending"! Glad you liked my sunset - it's one of my favorites!
Thanks for the fun Comment on The Big One.. That Iris is nearly twice the size of a normal one.. Puns don't bother me, nor does good natured teasing.. You will find some of my comments like that..
Thanks for your comments on "reflections - 2". It gave me the chance to catch up on your gallery. Boy, you really have some fine shots, Don. I don't always get to see all the new images, so I look forward to catching up with my favorites!
Don, good to hear from you, and thanks for your kind comments on Maine Sky with Eiders. This was taken on the day we left...after a solid week of clouds, high winds and rain! I posted it mainly to remind me that we did see a little spring up there.

Hi Don! Thanks for your comments on "Four of a Kind" -- I'll try to see if I can get a few good balloon shots next month to add to this! Thanks for your help on "perfecting" this one!!
Thank you Don for your comments on "Palouse Farmland". The Palouse area of Eastern Washington offers many opportunities for such interesting photographic studies that it is one of my favorite places to go. As I live about 100 miles from there it makes an interesting place to spend the weekend.
Hello Don, thank you for your kind words.
Concerning "Wrong place, wrong time...", it was a set up.
I put in the Rhino afterwards. Funny though, I received only one question why I put this in the Computer gallery!
Thanks for the comments on "Fresh From The Shower". I would have liked to stay around and catch it in full bloom but I had to leave that day on an extended business trip. Maybe next year.

Hi Don!! Thanks for your comment on "Camouflage Frogs" -- and thanks for suggesting that I post this one -- I really hadn't thought much about it, but I guess it's doing OK. Thanks! Have a GREAT day!!!
Thanks for the comment on Diamond Nine. I haven't seen the Blue Angels or Thunderbirds perform, so I don't know how tight they can get.
A nine formation is hard to work with, hence the comment....4 ship for Blue Angels, 6 for Thunderbirds. I need to find an airshow with all 3....perhaps RIAT or similar.

Hello Don,
Thank you very much for stopping by and smelling the wild flowers in my , Springtime in the Rockies image. I really love the area around Crested Butte. Should you ever get to Colorado this is a must visit area. Someday when I find the time I will break out some mountain lakes images that I have above this beautiful little village.
I am heading to mycabin for a much needed rest I will be gone for about a week. Even as we pack the truck it is Hailing. I hope this is not a preview of my week to come.

Don,
Thank you so very much for your nice comments about my Aspens Above the Conejos River. You are very kind. We have been so lucky to have found a cabin in an area that has such wonerful images to capture. There are more than we will ever be able to capture in a lifetime. When fotobob, my husband, found this lost image we were both so happy that we hugged each other with joy. Sometimes a computer crash can be a good thing.

Hi Don, funny funny, I thought I might have to do some time in Alcatraz, but lashings, I never thought of that! LOL! Love your humor, and thanks for commenting on "Exellence"!
Hi Don! Thanks for visiting "Perfect in Purple"! Don't I wish I took this in Hawaii - lol -- but I never even had to leave Texas for it! Glad it could help brighten your thoughts, though!!! Have a GREAT day!!
Hello Don, hope you will forgive me, but this message will be pretty well canned and much the same for everyone who responded to my images "Rhapsody", "As The Seasons Change", "At The Giants Feet", “Falls Majesty" and "This Heart's For You2". I’m stuck in a very tight schedule at work and have been putting in as many as 35 hrs overtime each week for going on a month now. Even though this is a generic thank you, it doesn’t mean that I don’t appreciate each comment, it’s just that I have very limited time and not enough of it to respond individually. For all that asked particular questions, I will try to leave an answer at the end of this post. For those who left comments some time ago, please accept my apology for being so late in responding.
THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR CONTINUING SUPPORT OF MY IMAGES .IT MEANS THE WORLD TO ME.
My you've been busy. THANK YOU for looking at and commenting on so many of my images.
Thanks, Don, for the comment on the Caedes desktop. I'm trying to pull together a little something for you to answer your questions a few days ago. Sorry I'm so slow.
Thanks Don, for the comment on Lily.. Much apprecaited..
Texas is a long way from Michigan.. I think I have all I can handle taking care of Mom's garden.. The commute would be horrendous..
Hi Don, thanks for commenting on "Exuberance"! The color could be construed to be lavender, if you stetched your imagination, so there, and I did by the way! That way, I felt I could exit the dog house! LOL! Thanks again Don. Sincerely, Marilyn
Hey Don - just got your comment on "Dizzy Daisies" - the computer was down for a couple of days! I'll show you the original sometime of this shot, I did change the colors some with the saturation and "fixed" some little black holes in the daisy petals. Paint Shop Pro is a great program and I'm having fun with it - thanks!!
Hi again!!! I told you I was having fun with Paint Shop!! BUT, do you know how LONG it took me to do even this simple image - took FOREVER to figure out about the layering, but I'm learning! And then I wasn't sure if it looked ok or not -- but thanks for your nice comments!! I'll keep working! (Oh, btw, this comment is on "Pink Peel-Up"!!!!!) Thanks again!
Hi Don, thanks for commenting on "Elation"! I now recognize you as being uplifted legally!! Don't you feel great? Also, I consider this image as being legally "PINK'! LOL!, Sincerely, Marilyn
Don,
Thanks for your comment on Butterfly. The darn thing kept flapping its wings and I kept shooting photos until I got one with its wings fully extended :-) As you mentioned, the depth of field is a difficult aspect of a photo to get right. It should have been a bit deeper but then I risked introducing background clutter. I also wanted to add that I really liked your Firefly by Daylight. Excellent macro shot of that insect!
High again Don. for your nice comment and support. So glad you found (Desirable) to your liking. The bloom is from a yucca plant. Have a gooood evening. Dwight.

thanks Don for such flattering remarks about "The Watering Hole.". I really am glad you like it.
The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and all science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead: his eyes are closed.

Well done in guessing the 49 CC picture Don. A 1949 Chris Craft in show room condition. Quite a joy ripping across a lake in a craft older than yours truly.
Hey there! Thanks so much for the A+ on "Flying Colors" -- I take that as an excellent compliment from you!!! Wish you could have seen the balloons in the daylight! Next year, right?
Hi again! Thanks for the comments on "Lone Star". I had so much extra sky around the balloon and couldn't get the color to brighten enough - so that's why I experimented with the framing. I agree, I'm not sure it adds anything either. I'll have to work with it some more to see if I can get it just right!!
Thanks for your comment on "Monument Valley", Don. About your suggestion, i don't know if it is where you think that it is..;). It was on my holiday in the usa, and this was taken from a balcony of Gouldings Logde, if you know that? :)
Thanks Don for viewing and commenting on my Amicalola Creek 1 image. I appreciate your support of this image. No filters used. F11, iso50 at about 1/15th of a second exposure with a slow fill flash. The area was in open shade.

Hi Dr. Don, many thanks for your visit to view "Fluttering Flowers"! I hope your day is going well for you and that you are totally safe from "Rita"! I don't know your location in relationship to the horrific storm, but I pray you and your family are safe! Sincerely, Marilyn
Y'A'A'T'E'E' H, my Monument Valley Brother!
Don, I am so happy that you are back viewing my work. Your comments have been missed. I am very pleased that you have enjoyed my "Approaching Storm", panorama. As you know the light in this part of the southwest is Magical. I hope that you are back to review more of my work.

Mix Lake in Snow Don,
It is nice having you back and commenting on our work. THank you for visiting Cameraannies "Mix Lake in Snow" This was a very difficlt image to capture. Their have been rare times when a 1.20ND filter would come in handy. Maybe I will ask Santa for one for Christmas.

Hi Don, thanks for viewing "Lofty Yellow"! I am serious about doctor's orders, it really is grim in MI today! You see, I don't live in the sunny south! LOL! Thanks Don and please stop by for another visit! All kidding aside though, we have enjoyed a marvelous summer and a splendrous 'FALL'!
Hi Don...sorry for the late response...been busy catching up on alot of comments this week...thanks so much for dropping by with your nice comments on Leafy Lounge...very glad you enjoyed it...my own cat doesn't cooperate that well when it comes time to take his picture...I guess this little kitten, a stray I think, was too tired to object or maybe just liked some attention...anyhow, thanks again...I appreciate your time and visit.:Pat.
Is there anything more beautiful than a beautiful, beautiful flamingo, flying across in front of a beautiful sunset? And he's carrying a beautiful rose in his beak, and also he's carrying a very beautiful painting with his feet. And also, you're drunk.

Hello! I like very very much your pictures. Can I take your photo called "Beagle or Bluebonnets" on tallini.fi - netsite? My stablename is Heather. Thank beforehand!
