The Alcázar of Toledo

The Alcázar of Toledo (Spain) is a stone fortification located in the highest part of Toledo, Spain. Once used as a Roman palace in the 3rd century, it was restored under Alfonso VI and Alfonso X and renovated in 1535.

Thank you for the comments on Iris. We have gotten so much rain here lately (water on the flowers/overcast) that it is ridiculous (NE). Of course, it could be over 100 degrees as it sometimes is in early June, so I had better be quiet. Thanks again for stopping by.

I am so far behind my thank you’s, it ain’t even funny. So, please allow me (abeit late) to thank you for dropping in on the various compositions of the Louisiana Plantation series. We covered a lot of history, didn’t we? I learned a lot and I hope you did also. There’s lots more history to be explored and in time, we will do so. Thks again for all of your lovely comments.

Most people never run far enough on their first wind to find out they've got a second. Give your dreams all you've got and you'll be amazed at the energy that comes out of you.
Just a few hours from bustling Costa del Sol, there lies another Spain that hasn’t changed in generations. There you can discover White Cities usually situated on the hills or mountain slopes with whitewashed houses, cobbled streets and Moorish castles or mysterious ruins towering over the area. We hired the car to explore some of the villages of Andalusia. Glad you found the result of this trip so appealing.

Words can't express my astonishment when I found the incredible feedback on "Gorge of Ronda, Andalusia". Thank you for your kind lines you decided to leave for my satisfaction. It is a charming little town so different from the bustling Costa del Sol resorts and big cities of Andalusia. It managed to retain all of its traditional charm and languid atmosphere.

I think Tiago had done two excelents seasons on bad F1 cars, this year they want that he drive for Spyker but Tiago refuse the contract because the car is too bad and I prefer to move to WTCC to a great team as SEAT is and drive an very good car. Some people say that Tiago is in negociation with Provide to return to F1.
I'm glad you like the races and the track, the second WTCC race was excellent.
