hey, thanks for you comment on "along came a spider". i don't really like spiders myself, but this one is just hanging out (haha..) in my backyard, the lighter white color in the shot is my deck, so its like.. right there. its web is huge and it wasn't spinning it when i took the shot, he doesnt move, not that i can see, and pretty much just stays in that position all the time, he's been there for at least a month now.

The really sad part, is that it was taken in the early morning.. We are in the middle of a severe drought and we rarely have any morrning dew anymore.. 3 years now.. Ewuniu, do tego tutaj User Information to najlepiej możemy sobie pisać jak chcemy, po polsku albo jak nam się lepiej pomyśli, to po angielsku. Ale natomiast powiem Ci szczerze, że jak widzę komentarze do wglądu ogólnego pisane po chorwacku albo niderlandzku, to tylko czekam na japoński !!! A wtedy, to wybuchnę. Jeden z tutejszych Chorwatów upierał się, że nasze języki są identyczne i pisał do mnie komentarze i i inne informacje w swoim języku z uporem godnym lepszej sprawy, ale jak mu udowodniłam, że języki nasze NIE SĄ identyczne after all, to zaczął pisać bardzo ładnie po angielsku ...
Co do pomidorków, to się zastanowię ... hihi może "pomidor nocą" ? Też można go skropić ... albo zakropić, tylko wtedy mogą wystąpić problemy z focusem ...hihi czyli LOL No to zabieram się do pracy, tzn. do tłumaczenia kart charakterystyki substancji niebezpiecznych tym razem. By the way, Ewa, czy Ty przypadkiem nie jesteś również tłumaczem ... albo może jesteś osobą tzw. dwujęzyczną po rodzicach z różnych krajów. Tak zgaduję, bo Twój angielski jest AMAZING. Flying Free is a created image I made using Paint Shop Pro 9. The original picture is Blue Morpho and is posted at Caedes right now. I wasn't thrilled with the background so I took a sky photograph and then cut, copied, and pasted the Morpho onto the sky. It seemed to work because of the sun shadow that was on the Morpho in the original picture. I personally like this created photo. I am happy to hear that someone else liked it too. I am very happy to share my pictures. Thank you very much for taking time to view and leave me a comment.

For Rocky Shore. I was told that the reason the lake water is so clear right now is because it is getting late in the season and there are not as many people out on the lake stirring it up. I thought it made for a great picture. I sat and took over 20 shots to get this one that I liked enough to post. I'm glad you liked it. I appreciate your support of my photographs.

Ewa, my friend, thanks a lot for viewing and commenting on my red blackberries and the hedgehog. Sounds unbelievable but both photographs have been taken two blocks away from the very centre of the town... For weekend I am planning a longer excursion with Boris [by tram/bus or with friends' car for we have no car on account of my complete inability to drive ...LOL]. The light in the back of hedgehog can be also from the bright lamp illuminating the nearby garages driveway ...

Thanks for your comment on "Beauty for free". It's not computer modified, but not totally realistic as well. I take photographs with a Nikon Coolpix 4600, a modest point and shoot camera, on which I can choose different automatic settings. I made a picture of that sky trying some of the settings, and this picture came out best. In reality, the sky was not that deep blue.

I have been rather busy over the last days ... Last night [hardly a night at all ..] I went to bed about 05.00 am when I have finished an urgent work. Autumn is getting more power all the time and here we have more colours every minute. Boris is in disgrace [for barking on the balcony despite definite prohibition !]. Otherwise things are OK. I am glad you liked the 'autumn beauties'. Of course the composition is man-made. But one cone was lying there!!!! Only added the rest ... Take care.

Thanks Ewa for the comments on "Wallowa Lake Afternoon". The image was taken with film and I used a Polorizing filter. It takes the sheen off of leaves, water and darkens the sky so that it adds to the overall impact over the image.

I took this at iso 50, f11 at about 1/60 exposure with a fill flash using the cameras telephoto macro mode. I'm glad that you enjoyed viewing this image.

It did indeed take a lot of time; at first I couldn't figure out all the formulas - there are even formulas for coloring the darn things. but after a while things started to come and eventually I ended up with this. It was a lot of fun to make though - I'm so glad you liked it.
