If I find within my self a desire that nothing in this world can satify, the only logical explanation is I was made for a different world. - C.S. Lewis

Hi Ellie, thanks so much for commenting on Sundown Over Cape Cod. These are my first efforts with a digital camera, so I especially appreciate your stopping by.

Hey Ellie. Many thanks for your lovely words on "tide's in". I'm glad you liked it. Places like that are one of the perks of living on Cape Cod.:-)))

Thanks for the comment on "Three". That might be that once in a lifetime -shot :D ..But if I run around with my camera always trying to find good views maybe I could get another one... :P
Hi Ellie: Thanks for looking at "Johannes Church". Yes, the trees get in the way, but I'm not sure this aticular church would be quite as majestic and mysterious without them. I'm still finding things in this photo...I appreciate your comment. Chris
ellie, kauai is a magnificent island especially for one who enjoys taking pictures. there are so many walks to take and wonderful pieces of nature to take in. thanks so much for liking the sunset/reef pic.
Hey Ellie, thanks for your warm comments on "a path to somewhere" and "reflections." There seems to be an endless amount of pictures to take here on Cape Cod and I think I'm getting addicted to my camera :-)))

hi ellie, thanks for liking the alaska picture, june sky. alaska is the perfect place for someone who loves photography no matter how much you have to carry.
Hey Ellie: Thanks for stopping to look at "Rothenberg Chapel II". I appreciate your comments. It is a fascinating building and story...can you tell I'm kinda fixated on it at the moment? Night shots coming soon....stay tuned. Chris
Thanks for the comment on "Shy". I like that kind of art too because it's not too simple or straightforward. You know, if there's a photo of a horse for example you see a horse and maybe even start thinking what's happening around if you have time. But with something a little abstract (but not absurd) you can see more and it depends a lot on the viewer. It's kinda different for everyone.
Hi Ellie: Thanks for taking the time to view the two swan posts today...get ready for some more...lol. I spent about 45 minutes yesterday afternnon following them around the pond...it was a wonderful end to the day and produced enough photos for a series.

Hi Ellie: Thanks for taking a peek at the two posts from Schloss Hohenurach. I agree, self portraits (like detailed information on photos...lol) add to the enjoyment of Caedes. As for the photos, I like to know the history of a place I photograph...it helps me put things in perspective and explain what I'm seeing to others.
