Thanks for your comment on "Cornish Coastline" - I'm glad it brought back some memories for you. A "ten year old 1962 MG Midget", eh? That must've been a few years ago... ;-)

Hi Ian, thanks for your comments on my photograph 'Kostas Place'. The view is from Disley in Cheshire UK looking out towards the Peak District in Derbyshire. I am glad you enjoyed the photograph. Patti

Thanks big bunches for your warm reply to snowy "winterscape". The photo was taken in March 2006 in Beskid Mountains once I tried to learn how to ski, he, he, he… As a result I spent much more time taking photos than skiing. It was great fun anyway but I wish I had my present camera with me at that time.
Thanks for the nice comment on my Dusting Of Snow and I believe you are right, it does seem to be the end of some very mild weather. Thanks for stopping by, Don
Hi Ian, glad you like the photo of the Derbyshire hills - they are beautiful aren't they - just a shame you got the dreaded virus while you were here! thanks for your comments

Hi Ian,
Thanks for the positive feedback on "Lake St.George". I have another sunset shot from the same lake to post, you may want to check this one out aswell. You must have some awsome sunsets over on the Cape, great spot.
John
Thank you for your kind words on "Bliss" Ian, this was taken just last week on a lovely spring evening..I hope you'll have some of that lovely weather too real soon:)
Thks for commenting on "Spring Pasture". I see you are from Nova Scotia. I have always wanted to get up your way. So, you won't see Spring for 3 months? I didn't think it was that cold up there. Thks for stopping by.

Below is the web address for the Woodburn, Oregon tulip fields. Hardly the capital of tulips, but the 35 acres do quite nicely. I'm glad you enjoyed my tulip picture.

Kia Ora Ian, thank you for commenting on The Way It Was, much appreciated.
Oh yes, I too remember the days when all photos were black and white :) - and having to wait days for a film to be developed. Isn't it wonderful to be able to share them so easily this way.
Thank you so much Ian for the comment you left on "old red belly with seed" I never thought it would get such a high c-index, I even sold that one on my website, I noticed a few Caedes folks have clicked on my site and added photos to their shopping cart, but no buyers from here yet, but that is o.k. I just want to let you guys know you can sell your work there. Have a great day...Gregg. Also, I use the c-index as a tool, if it is very high like this one, I put it on my website, and bingo! it sold.
Kia Ora Ian, very many thabks for your kind words on my Kea picture - yes he does look a bit like a stern schoolmaster :) I was pleased to get sopme shots of the pair of them, and although this one scored badly it is nice to know he was noticed and enjoyed.
Hi Ian, many thanks for your kind words on "Bridge Over The Test", and yes, I do test my wellies there as It's 5 minutes walk from my mums house!!! Thanks again!
Nice meeting you Ian. I appreciate the kind words on Road to Rebels Cove. Yes, we older ones should listen, even if they're only nine years old. Maybe it should be "especially" if they're nine years old. Have a great weekend.
I am so glad that you enjoyed your travels to my 'Snowfall'...and that you liked the more beautiful side of our wintry season....you are right that winter does have it's down sides...but scenes like this kind of help us through those negative times...don't you think?....
Just so you know...your comments are deeply appreciated Ian...and I look forward to your next visit... with pleasure....please hurry back....OK?

Cheers for your comment on Follow The Leader. I can see what you mean, the tree does look like a tree from a disney film (either that or we are both going crazy!).
Thanks Ian, the gulls looked so good in "The Audience". They were hard to get near because as I edged nearer to them the one nearest to me would take off and move further up so I never got any closer to them!
Thanks, Ian, the swans and cygnets on The Marine Lake and a bit further up the Prom on The Model Boating Lake are fast becoming quite the tourist attraction.
Ian, New Brighton is a lovely place but needs some new ideas and lots of money spending on it. It still gets huge numbers of visitors on hot summer weekends but there is little for them to do. There have been lots of schemes to renovate the place but none have come to fruition.
They used to hold huge beauty pageants at the open air baths. The Miss New Brighton Contest attracted crowds of thousands.
