Obrigado pelo comentário na Foto dos Incêndios, a situação por cá ficou com cerca de 70, 80% do concelho queimado mas felizmente só ardeu 1 ou 2 casas.
But words are things, and a small drop of ink, falling, like dew, upon a thought produces that which makes thousands, perhaps millions think and smile.
Art is everywhere, except it has to pass through a creative mind.
Thank you for commenting on my image "Snail on the Road". This image is not like my other images, and I didn't know what people would think of it ... glad you liked it ...

Thanks for your comments on "seagrass and "fog" and "black head at dawn". I hear parts of the coast of Portugal are pretty spectacular. Do you live near there?
thanks:-) glad you like the photo. i had a B&W one posted before, it was a better shot, but this seems to be receiving better feedback..who would've guessed
...er, comments I meant. Where was that taken? Just over some lake. A little background on an unimportant state on the North mid-section of the US, Minnesota is really flat and has over 15,000 lakes. The motto on our license plate is "The Land of 10,000 Lakes", and sadly enough that isn't even accurate. I don't know much else to say. Did that answer the question? Thanks again!
I'm glad you found your way to my Blue Angel photo and left such a nice comment. It was all the work of the sculptor I am afraid. All I did was shoot the photo. I was in Spain last month and shot lots of photos which I am still examining. Do you know that shots of ruins are quite popular here on Caedes? If you have any good ones please consider posting them. I have found that shots of interesting subject matter can be just as popular here as well-framed and composed shots of less-interesting material. Thanks for visiting, and thanks also for your kind comments about Necropolis. It's good to meet you.
Good morning Celeste. I want to thank you for viewing and commenting on my Rock Owl 2 photo. I welcome and appreciate your comments. I'm glad that you enjoy my images. This Owl is about 30 yrs old.

Hi again, Celeste! Nice of you to respond to my snowy pictures! I specially appreciate your comment on "Winter again 3" - I like odd pictures like this one - glad you do it too! Now I have to look at your works (Hard to get the time to see all on this site) Thanks and hope to "hear" from you again, Celeste. / Arne
I hold it true that thoughts are things; They're endowed with bodies, breath and wings:
And that we send them forth to fill the world with good results, or ill.
That which we call our secret thought speeds forth to earth's remotest spot, leaving it's blessings or it's woes like tracks behind it as it goes.
We build our future, thought by thought for good or for ill, yet know it not.
Yet so the universe was wrought .
Thought is another name for fate.
Choose then thy destiny and wait, for Love brings Love and Hate brings Hate. - Henry Van Dyke.
