not to be redundant here, but thanx much for the comment on "Signs". It's funny, karma does nothing (according to the FAQs), but we all want more of it.... O.o
Hiya Alicia! The "Night, Ma, Pa, Y'all" post is from a show waaaay before your time, but you might be able to catch episodes of "The Waltons" on one of those antique television sets in a museum or an old folks home or maybe inside some ancient tomb somewhere!
Thanks for the comment on "Scintillate", I am glad you liked it. I have quite a few more pictures taken of similar subjects, and can post them when they have been properly touched up. Thanks for the encouragement (as well as the 10)! :-)
Hi Alicia. I like the upbeat side of your shot, and I think we'd all like to see more stuff by you. There's enough apathetic or negative "you can take this world and shove it" work out there, and I like the beauty and pleasure of an existence that's really pretty nice given some of the alternatives. Your shot kind of embodies that. And if you're wondering why I thought you look like you could be my wife's sister, go to www.hanemanns.com, our website and you can see a photo of her. Keep it light.
Thanks, Alicia, for the nice comments about "Rainbow Sherbet." I did try filling the holes, but it started looking too busy - so I decided not to push it any further and quit while I was ahead. Appreciate you taking time to comment.
Thanks so much for your comments, and for such a great welcome...I know someday you would overcome that fear of clowns hehe....Thanks so much God Bless Alicia! Talk to you soon!
You're a sweetheart, Alicia. I just read what you wrote on Waters' End, and I feel really good about the image. When lokoing through the images from that day, this one didn't really stand out (You never like your own work.), so I was reluctant to post it. Thanks for the wonderful feedback.
Thanks so much for your support on Black & White. Since it's the first picture that I posted on this site, I was a little insecure about it, so your comment meant a lot to me :) Love ya <3

Hello again Alicia. So you liked Caught In The Act? I'm sure glad to hear it, because the image was so easy that I almost didn't post it. I have this weird belief that if it's not hard to do it must be crap. I guess that's not always true. Thanks for the affirmation.
Thank you for the comment on "Tweak Out", I used Photoshop. I wanted to make the colors brighter, but something happened when I saved it for the web and it turned all blah.
I'm really into goth rock and new wave. My favorite band is The Birthday Massacre. The guy in my avatar is, in fact, a guy. His name is Mana from the band Malice Mizer.
Alicia! Hi again. I love hearing from you, because you always have such ebullient things to say. Your response to Snowy Egret is no exception. I'm glad to hear that you're busy. Busy is good. I've been busy trying to track down one of these birds for the last week. My next project is going to be trying to get one of the Louisiana red-tailed hawks. They're wily critters, though.
Hey, Alicia! Thanks for the comment! It's only the second picture I've posted so your words are really encouraging! Also, in response to your question, the white lights came from the lights around the area that I was taking the picture.
I am glad you liked the next one in the series. I uploaded it more for the manipulation to come. I figured I should finish off the series with something bold, so the next is like this one, only with additional contrast and a strong blue tinge on the clouds. Let me know what you think on that too! :-)
Hello Alicia, how are you?
I am glad you liked Big Boy. I did a lot of work on that image removing distractions with my cloning tool and replacing a dull grey sky with a nice cheery blue one. Would you have known?

Thanks for your thoughts. I have one final image to post to finisht he series. The thing that bothers me the most about the last image is that the land doesn't look entirely realistic. I figured I could have just as much fun with only the open see, so I did. :-)
Thank you for your comments on my picture You're invited. It's nice to know the feeling of the location is finding its way into the image. What more can we ask for?
Thanks too for your comments on my posting The way there. It's a bit of a departure that may, if nothing else, stimulate some thinking! Glad you enjoyed it.
But words are things, and a small drop of ink, falling, like dew, upon a thought produces that which makes thousands, perhaps millions think and smile.
Art is everywhere, except it has to pass through a creative mind.
I am sorry that I am so late in responding to the comment that you so graciously left about my Horses in the morning Fog. I am pleased that you enjoyed it.

Photography is not a trade - it is an art. It is more that an art.
It is a solar phenomenon,
where the artist collaborates with the sun.

Hey there Alicia! Thank-you so much for your very kind and generous comments on my work 'Training' - with such support - I will definately do another 'themed collage' - I'll just make sure that the topic is interesting! Maybe the Opera house and Harbour bridge??? Cheers...
Hi stranger.. its been awhile since ive seen you on here... thanks for your comment on Ancient Warrior Collab... im glad you liked it... i'm trying a few different things at the moment... hope all is well....
Hi Alicia. I do remember you. So nice of you to drop by to visit my gallery. Thank you for the compliment you left on "Bird of Prey". Have a great day, my friend. How're things in Texas?
Hey girl...thanks for the great comments on "Family Reunion." I sure appreciate it. No I have not heard from BJB in a very long time. :( Glad to hear from you. Keep in touch. Cheers! Sarah
We don’t make art to show someone what something looks like. All this requires is eyes (or a lens). Art is supposed to have meaning, emotion, power, or magic. Alan & Mario "FourThirds"
