hi patti.......it's a place well known for it's beauty. on that day the lighting was just right. i'm so glad you like it. thank you for letting me know. jen
Thank you for your comment on my Cycad picture. Was a difficult shot, as the "fruit" is situated in the middle of th plant and my mom had to pull the leaves open for me to get a shot. And to add, it's standing amongst other plants and next to a wall and we had to lean over the wall to get to it. Thank you very much.
Actually I have only good memories of my coolpix. Some sad found it's way to the insides of my best friend and now I have a new best friend... :P Still playing around with touristcameras. My new friend is canon ixus 50.
Thanx Patti. Yes, was a good thing..to try this.. been struggling with PS for how long now.. and just *snap* .. tonight.. thought I would try again.. and i got the hang of it.. :) that's my 1st try :)

Hi! Thanx for stopping at Hello! the frog.. :) Luckily the dog chased him away! I dont even like frogs, but he was posing so nicely, just couldn't resist!
Hi there Pattie...thank you so much for your many lovely comments, and now the ones about my barn series...I appreciate hearing from you a lot...thanx again my friend...V
Hi Patti,
Thanks for your nice comments on "Don't Turn Left." The colors in that area are really impressive, and they seem to go on forever. This is an area where 4 wheel drive is necessary to get around, the distances are so great.
Olie
Hi Patti....thanks so much for commenting on "pumphouse on the james". it's a very beautiful spot that's been made unavailable to the public. i was just lucky to see it. jen
Hallo Patti and thank you so much for taking the time to comment on the Ghekkos. I appreciate it very much. We have so many living in and around the house, but I dont mind because they catch the "bugs" like mosquitos etc. So I let them be.. :) They are actually quite cute to watch.
Thank you for stopping at the Tree Trunk Creation, Patti. And thank you for the nice comment. I appreciate you taking the time to view. Have a great and wonderful day!
Thanks Patti for commenting on my frog picture “Hidden” Photographing frogs is kind of like fishing find a good spot get comfortable and wait. A camera is required a cooler is optional.
Hello Patti! Hope all is well with you this fine day. I wanted to thank you for your kind remarks about White Pink Love. It was a tough one and I am so glad you liked it. Thanks again, Carrie
i know that this is an odd thing to do. i'm going to do a group thanks to all of you who had something nice to say about my lionfish photo i thought was very good but ended up getting a very low score. i was saving this one as something special and totally got my bubble popped. i'm sure i'll recover but just can't bring my self to talk about this pic over and over. please understand........jen
hi patti, i'm so glad you liked orangeade. i know that there are lots of good rose photographers in this group so it's a little scary to submit a rose picture. i really liked the color combo. thanks for writing.. jen
Hey There Patti, I so appreciate your kind words and encouragement about Hidden Pine Nuts, and my recent foray into digital illustration and photo manipulation. Thanks so much. Carrie
Hi Ya Patti- Thanks so much for the comment at "Unrequited Love?". I actually felt kinda sorry for the swan.Reminded me of how persistent my husband was before we started dating LOL. So glad you liked it- Eileen
Thanx you for the comment on Green Mountain. I do appreciate it very much! I've just been out for a nice long walk, so there will be some "real" stuff again, until i can "render" a better terragenian picture. Although I do like and enjoy creating these landscapes, I much more prefer the real thing too.
Hi Patti- Thanks alot for the comment at "Touche' ". They were really going at it and were so funny to watch. But, the fight was soon over after I snapped this. The one on the right emerged as the champ.LOL. Thanks again- Eileen
good morning patti, i'm so glad you liked "our new pet". i think tigers are beautiful so i was thrilled to have the opportunity to photograph this one. thanks for writing to me. jen
patti, i'm sure you wouldn't want to be barefooted here. where "ragged" was taken is really foot unfriendly. there are beaches without the rocks but they're no fun for pictures. thanks for liking it. i noticed that you also looked at chicago and the colorado river photos and commented on them. we lived in chicago for awhile. architecturally it is wonderful. the colorado river in northern arizona is surrounded by beautiful scenery. i went on a photo trip a year ago and have MANY images. anyway, thanks so much for checking out my gallery. i really appreciate it. jen
Hi Patti!..thank you so much for the nice comment about my car photo..Why dont you post a pic of your car too? It would be fun to see what everyone wheels around!..verena
Hello Patti, I am glad you liked the country scene "In Bloom", you are right, it looks a bit like England (same rain too...) These spring colors are so inviting, but you must hurry to capture them between two showers!
Hi again Pattie...thanx for your nice comment about my Blackbird photo..Im not sure if thats what it is or if its a crow, but it was HUGE...he was strutting in front of my car, and since I was sitting in it with the window down, I though "well, what the heck..take a shot!" so it worked out well. It was a cold windy day...and the seafood was yummy..thanx again...verena
Good morning Patti- So glad that you enjoyed viewing 'Natural Beauty". Dan is well deserving of this dedication. He is always so nice and does give the most witty comments sometimes. - Eileen
Hello Patti..Just had a look at your gallery to find the last three posting since the last time i've checked it out. Love the "Lily the Pink" it's a great composition, and the pink is awsome.. left alone those lilies..they are beautiful! Lake Minnewanka - Banff is a gorgeous place, and the way you've composed the picture is really awsome too. Goose in Hyde Park is too sweet. It really looks as if he's posing! And an interesting way of framing that too. Great jobs on all three and thanx for sharing!
Marietha

Hey PAtti
Thanx for stopping at Dark Cloud. No, it's winter, and we don't really get rain in winter. Only about 3 drops fell an hour after that picture was taken. :)) But I must say, we have AWSOME cloud formations here. I'll post some more soon
Thanx again
Marietha
Patti: Thanks for your comments on "Dead Tree'. Glad you noticed the little 'critter". I've added you to my friends list. This is one of my favorite area's to hike in because of the little critters. If you go at the right time of day you can really see some. Thanks again.
