College Street Living 2 sits up on a little hill across the street from the original Wesleyan College site. The trees in this picture are Yoshino Cherry Trees. We have a big festival when the trees bloom all over town with over a weeks worth of events. Thank you Ryan for viewing and commenting on this image.

Thanks again Ryan for viewing and commenting on my The Price of War image. We've all felt the loss of friends and family in these terrible wars. My God bless all of those that serve in the millitary.

I hold it true that thoughts are things; They're endowed with bodies, breath and wings:
And that we send them forth to fill the world with good results, or ill.
That which we call our secret thought speeds forth to earth's remotest spot, leaving it's blessings or it's woes like tracks behind it as it goes.
We build our future, thought by thought for good or for ill, yet know it not.
Yet so the universe was wrought .
Thought is another name for fate.
Choose then thy destiny and wait, for Love brings Love and Hate brings Hate. - Henry Van Dyke.
Many thanks, Ryan -- glad you liked 'Old Miner's Cabin' There are plenty of stories in this area when it comes to hard rock mining and geology, as you can imagine.
Weird but true: The most popular first name in the world is Muhammad. The most popular last name in the world is Wang. So why isn't Muhammad Wang the most popular name in the world?
Thank you so much for your comment on the beach bench...I cant imagine anyone moving away from the Pacific Ocean...but then again there is much beauty everywhere...I've been to NY and DC but other than that nothing more...I've thught about moving inland..but cant quite imagine it, altho Northern Idaho and Montana sounds good. Its so good there..Thank you again!!
Your compliments on "the glory of the ruins" brought me so much pleasure. One of the greatest attractions in Jurassic Upland, Poland, where I took the photo, are the medieval strongholds and castles, creating a net called "eagles' nests". They were built of limestone upon rocky hills to protect the region. I have to admit Jurassic Upland is a beautiful region in Poland.
So you are of Polish origin in a way? Do you speak any Polish, I wonder? How interesting. I have just read your nice comment on "mountain waterfall". Glad you liked it so much. It was rather small but the water bublling caught my attention and this is what I found when wandering in Bieszczady mountains. Stay tuned.
Thanks Ryan for the very nice comments on my Amicalola Creek 2 image. I'm glad that you like it. This was in open shade taken at iso 50, f11 and about 1/20 exposure. I also used a slow fill flash to lighten the shadows.

Hi Ryan, thanks for your kind comments about my Rocky Mountains photograph. I am on holiday at the moment in Calgary Canada so will be posting some new rocky mountain pictures when I return to the UK in two weeks. :) thanks again, Patti
Hello Ryan
Thanx a bunch for the comment on Sunset. I appreciate it very much that you've taken the time to drop by. I've just jumped around in your gallery, realizing how many of those pics i've gotten in the voting booth before. I love waterfalls/cascades and your collection of them are awsome! I still try to get the "slow water" effect, but have not been sucessful with that yet... :((( Maybe one day... :) Have a great great day!

Howdy from Arizona (but originally from Memphis!) - thank you for commenting at "Family Man". Pretty good goal you have - all waterfalls in TN? Believe it or not, there's quite a few in AZ but not near that many! One here is taller than Niagra and almost as wide - Grand Falls NE of Flagstaff. Good luck out there!
** For the next few weeks, I will not be Commenting as much as I should, I Will be looking at ALL of your Picture posts...I apologise from the bottom of my heart for this...Things should be back to 'normal' after the holiday period**
Thank you Ryan! I'm glad that you took the time to leave that nice comment on my images. I appreciate your support and value your opinion. I enjoy your gallery of beautiful images. Our paths may have already crossed. We have photographed the same places.
