Thanks for the comments on "Mountain Pond," I appreciate it. The clouds are real and helped make the picture. I took photos of the same pond on an overcast day and they never made it here...they sucked.
Thanks for your comments on "River of the Moon," I appreciate it. This goes a bit beyond just a sepia. I went through 4 or 5 stages starting with a filtered B&W then a light shifting tint, various more things, a yellow tint, more various things, and ending up with a sepia overlay and final sharpening.
Thanks again for your comments on "Rock Tower 2," yes that could come tumbling down and I wouldn't want to be standing there fishing if it did. You know what I would be slipping in to get away if I were there when that happened.
Do you have a spare room? Thanks for your comments on "Hitting the Wall," these rock faces would be a challenging climb. They are pretty loose because of all the rain and snow.
I have the truck outside your door with all my furniture in it. Thanks for the comments on "End of the Line 2," much appreciated. Yeah the Cascades are awesome. The Olympic Peninsula is awesome as well. Not to mention Puget Sound and the Pacific Ocean.
If you come outside you can help me move my furniture in. Thanks for your comments on "Ice Falls 2," I like this one better too. I deleted the original Ice Falls and replaced it with the current one. This one is like the Son of Ice Falls.
thanks, scott. i feel the same way about old buildings, and the fact that many of the churches in england have been holding services in the same spot for close to or more than a 1000 years just blows me away.
also, quite like your Superstition, and Ypsilon Summer. well done.
And thus having set out the goal [improving our skills in photography] is a good starting point for the future cooperation [being lazy and ignorant about more advanced IT technologies including software I like such relations a lot LOL]. Seriously we are all here having tremendous fun with our works and let us keep this for ever [=reasonably long]
Thanks for the comments on "Stumpy," yes there was a tree on that, I chopped it down and built a fire to keep warm...do I look stupid? Besides I thought it would make a more interesting picture.
