Putting your pictures in my favorites is the highest honor I can give you. If I could, I would give you an award. But alas, I cannot. So the highest praise I can award you with, is faving your artwork.
Thanks Glade for your nice comment on "In the West"
It may be Jordanelle Reservoir outside of Park City, UT but not postive, you may have been there yourself. I need to take better notes of where what is

Hi there! Many thanks for taking the time to look at my stuff and for leaving your kind words of judgement and support! Im pleased you like the junk-shot in 'Decycled'! and with hindsight, I also feel that I could have used a bit more imagination in 'Light Pillar at Dusk'..maybe in the future!
Thanks also for your kind words on 'Comfort Eating'. The camera helped a lot in that shot -plus the use of a remote cable so as not to disturb the fella munchin'!
Your comments are always appreciated and you're always welcome ;)

Thank you very much for the nice comment on "Spring landscape". Truly appreciated :) I saw your gallery; your art work is really nice and you have so many beautiful nature photos!
Thank you for all your warm send off wishes on "Rabbit Island" My project has someting to do with a Nikon Super CoolScan 5000 ED Film Scanner. I will show you what I have been doing with it when I return.
Hope it's a Friendly Friday for you and not a Freaky one
all my best,
Diane
Thanks a lot that you like my "natural" photos as they are. I prefer them like that, I don't like much working on them, I just want to present the nature as it is.
The most merciful thing in the world ... is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents... The sciences, each straining in its own direction, have hitherto harmed us little; but someday the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality. ɔʎɐɾ
Hi Glade, well thanks for taking the time to trawl through my gallery - I am quite lazy about deleting images - i think I need to do some housekeeping lol! Glad you found some that you liked! :)
..thanking you in advance for your comments. Please know that all your comments are appreciated....." Live well, love much, laugh often!" .... mygallery
Hi Glade- Thanks for stopping by and making a comment on Downstream. It is appreciated! You were asking where Causey Reservoir is. If you go east from Ogden up Ogden Canyon you will come up on Pineview Reservoir. Go around the lake and head east up towards Monte Cristo...and not to far up the canyon is a little turn off towards Causey. Beautiful area...great little lake to boat on and has some really fun rocks to cliff jump. Take care.

Hello Glade, it's a pleasure to meet you. Thks for stopping by "Pond Resident" (frog). It did come out really good. I was surprised since I snapped it when it was almost dark and the frog was under the branches of a cypress tree where he could barley be seen. I give the credit to Canon's pro lens that I used that has a constant aperture of f/2.8. That means you can shoot in very, very low light. Thks for stopping by.

Hi Glade,
I'm glad you dropped by. Hey it's summertime and I'm sure you are having too much fun to hang out here. But I do miss your pictures. I was just cruising along the coast of Haiti and saw this miracle of nature and was so very much in awe from the beauty of purple and blue of the mountains, sea and clouds with the golden rays peeking through.
Stay in touch and many thanks for your kind comments

Four people asked me where the golf course is in Balmy Palms, , I talked about lagoons in the photo but they aren't anywhere to be seen.....but no one asked where the lagoons were
Thanks for visiting tropical Hawaii...and it didn't cost you a cent...grin.
Wow! Glade- thank you for the very kind comment on Iwo Jima Memorial. I thought it might be too dark...so I really appreciate your opinion on it. Have a great night.
Kim
Hi Glade...thank you for the very kind comment you left on The Washington Memorial. I really appreciate it. It would have added a little interest if I had not centered it wouldn't it...I have several different shots of it...I think I will play with your suggestion. Thanks again.

"Schooner Bar" was my favorite. The light wood with brass accents and blue chairs in a curving design were tasteful. The seafaring decor featuring model ships, paintings, a brass compasses and wheel. I found the atmosphere very soothing, some other bars and lounges were just too loud and gaudy for my taste.
Thanks Glade for dropping by
