Hi, Welcome to Caedes, I see you are fairly new here. This is a great place to upload pictures or to just look around. I just commented on your Maple Leaf, it was lovely. Keep up the good work.

Thanks bunches for the really nice words you left for 'No Need For Words Now'...I truly appreciate it and am pleased you like it!
Welcome to Caedes! :)
Dear Olie,
Thanks so much for stopping to view my 'burning'. Your comment is MOST welcome and I ask for more LOL Particularly such nice comments are my hobby LOL
Thank you very much for your nice comment on farewell. So glad you found it worth a visit. If you like sunsets I would strongly encourage you to visit my gallery.
Hi Olie - Thanks for visiting Icon and Tangled Up In Blues and for leaving the nice feedback. It's appreciated very much. I think we both did well to remember where those old ships are located...I haven't been back to Maine in 18 years.
Hi Olie - Thank you so much for taking the time to visit Butterflying 2 and Tribal Snowflake. I'm very happy that you like them. Thanks as well for the flattering comments and for my very own folder! Wow! I appreciate your kind remarks.
Hey Olie - Thank you for stopping in and taking a look at both String Of Pearls and Deep Blue. I appreciate the time you spent leaving comments for me. I'm glad you like them.
Hey Olie - Thanks for wandering through my garden of Wishful Thinking. I appreciate the kind comments yet again. Posting that image was a way to show what was on my mind yesterday: the longing for warmer weather. You say that you lived in upstate NY, so you know winter, too. This time of year is difficult, as we know that spring is coming, but just not soon enough.
I quite like the image, though on larger scales the mountains and clouds are in soft focus - im thinking of upgrading my digital 2Mp camera to a 6Mp camera. Any suggestions?
Thanks. Sam.
Hi Olie - Thanks for the time you spent looking at Open Arms and Carribean Queen. I'm grateful for the kind things you've said about so many of the images I post here. I'm glad you like them.
Roads???in Sark??? actually there are some (but they're dirt tracks). Your right - its the same area, but the zig zag you mentioned are steps - a road would be a bit dangerous.
Thanks for the comments, as always.
Sam.
Hey Olie - I think that over time I'll post some more, but I'm in no real hurry. Besides, I brought slide film and would have to get the shots made into prints and then scan them into my computer. Takes time and money and I lose quality. On top of that, there was a flood in my apartment about two years ago and I lost half the slides. Over 600 shots gone.
Hi again, Olie - Thanks are due you this time for looking at my quilt: Postcards From The Edge. All one needs to do that are materials and lots of patience...lots! I appreciate the very nice comments.
Im not sure what the dark horizontal thing in the centre is either - youve got me stuped. Thanks for all your great posts :)
Your comments are always welcome.
Sam.
Hey Oile - Thanks for looking at my quilt October Road. As always, the nice comments are appreciated. Unfortunately, it's not a matter of doing both quilts and fractals, it's either/or. I'm in a break from quilting right now.
Kat.
Thanks as well for the visit to Prayer Pile and for those comments. I thought about mentioning the pronunciation; people who don't know always mispronounce it. It really is a beautiful place.

Hello Olie - Thanks for the look at my two latest, The Shell and Viscosity. Apophysis is indeed a difficult program...drives me crazy! But when it works out, as it did for me in The Shell, it makes it all the sweeter. Viscosity is just for fun. I think it looks like red nail polish, myself. I appreciate the comments once again.

Hi ya Olie! Thanks for the greetings back at Cowboy Dan! I have a brother living in the Scotsdale area & have visited Tuscon before. Love that country down there! Take care!
Hey Olie - Thanks for the looks at Twisting The Night Away and Cigarette Smoke. I'm very glad I can help you use up that remaining space on your hard drive. What else is it there for? The comments are appreciated.

Hi again Olie! Thanks for the comments on my "Duck!". Really the only thing different between this one & the older version was the date stamp. Thanks to a few friends here I learned how to do away with it! So glad you liked it! Thanks again! ~Dan
Hi Olie! Thanks for the positive feedback you left for "Made for Walking". Feel better about it now with some good comments being left. Thanks again! ~Dan

We Could Go Bowling anytime you're in the area. Don't worry, I stink at it...generally don't even break 100. :~o Thanks for the nice remarks and not giving me a big 'ol gutter ball score on it!!
Thanks for the 'hot' remarks you left on Ten Alarm Fire , I really value your comments!! You can't believe how red this tree was...I've got another waiting in the wings to show for another day. 8~)
Lotsa thanks for also slipping by to see and hear some Lobster Rock !! I thought it looked like lobsters at a concert with their claws all up in the air...ha ha!!
Blue. It's a tos-up Olie. He follows his nose, and is usually a few hunderd feet ahead of me. But he's always checking to see where I am, and if I duck behind some trees, it's only a couple of minutes till he races back to find me. At times we hit a junction in the lanes, before we head into the woods, and if he has his heart set on one direction, he'll stand on that lane and stare at me. He'll still go the other way if I say, "this way", but most of the time I just say OK, and off he goes.
It's working quite well in gaining his trust. He certainly wasnt treated properly as a pup, and it's been a long, hard and stressfull road for both of us, over the past year. He frequently ran off to visit other dogs, always came home, but was terribly afraid to approach me. He must have gotten a lot of beatings, for that kind of behavior, when he was too young to know any better.
It gets better on almost a daily basis, now, and I even took his collar off for the pix, and that was a first. He may never completely shed his early experiences, but we're doing very well, about 90% of the time. Sure glad I live where I do, and can take him back in deep woods, to run off his boundless energy. He's 100% obedient out there, and I can teach him to come, without distractions.
Thanks again, Olie.
for the past year.
Thanks so much for the compliments you gave me on "Liquid Glass" Olie!! Really appreciate them & I'm glad you liked it so well! Thanks again!! Happy Easter to you & yours!! ~Dan
Hi Olie: Many Thanks for the nice comments on "Backroad" I appreciate your input. I really wasn't trying for the soft focus, just the way it turned out, but many people seem to like thr effect. Thanks Again and Take Care, BobZee
You're going to give me a swelled head, with all those superlatives, Olie. I've seen so many exquisite sunsets on here, that I felt were much nicer, I hesitated for quite awhile, before uploading.
Thanks again.
Thanks for your comments Olie, on "Cedar Key". Really appreciated.
You have a really neat Gallery! Some INCREDIBLE shots! If you shoot with Digital, ya might want to shoot your picts at a higher Rez.
Just a suggestion.
