Hello Robert,
to my big surprise I was elected to be the first Artist of the week, amazing but true 'cause it should have been you.
And so I want to say thanks good friend, for your big support and posting such a nice comment!
Paul
Robert,
Thank you so very much for the wonderful comment about me and my work that you posted about my;"Cottonwood Lake" image. You sure know how to put the pressure on to keep producing quality images !:0). It is what I need to keep things fresh. I am humbled by your words.

I took a look through your gallery and saw that you have some really nice work posted. My favorite is Edge (moonshine). I thought the subdued mood fit the scene much better than in the original.
Thanks for commenting on Where There's Smoke.. I do appreciate it.. More than you could guess.. The photo was taken from a moving car, with the police right behind us.. I never found out what was burning.. No one is talking..

Thanks so much for the comment on 1949.. I do appreciate your comment.. I am in the process of restoring old family photos and as I finish them, each will be posted..

Hi there..you know I love this avie(icon) of yours! I want to thank you for the nice comment about the yellow field of flowers I just posted(cant remember the name..hehe)...you always give me such nice words. I appreciate that a lot !! verena
Hi there...there is something so fun in knowing someone enjoyed one of my photos...and when you said " I am diggin it" well it brought a bigtime smile to my face..I love sharing my photos with people and knowing they enjoy a moment with the picture I posted. Thanx so very much my friend!!...verena
I'm still not quite happy with the level of pixelation in "Blue Faction". I think I'll do a new version from scratch, which shouldn't take long now that I have woorked out the steps. I find the best way to make an image look really clean is to do it at 200% and then shrink it down. Anyway, thanks for the comment and look out for more soon.

Thanks for your comment on "I feel so... uhmm... green?". Maybe you're right with that borderthing. First I wasn't sure if I was going to share that one so I didn't much care then...:S
Hello, I've posted a new photo without a big watermark... just little one on the side.. barely to find it it:

Hello Rob. It's good to hear from you regarding my "Beauty All Around Us" photo of the swan. As all the other birds fled my approach he just sat and watched. I suppose he knew he was too big to fear any violence from me. I love interaction with these semi-wild creatures, and I appreciate your comments. Thanks.
Thanks for the comment on my "Dreamscape". I'm glad you liked the mood. :) I have made a slightly lighter version called "Dark Dreamscape" now. Perhaps it will adress some of the points that were raised. I was frankly surprised to see how dark the first image turned out to be. It was not at all what it looked like in PS. There must be something wonky with my colorprofiles or something. ^_^
Hi Rob. I'm glad you took the time to comment about my "Don't Get Around Much Anymore" image. You know what's weird is that the c-index on the B&W version is a 25, but the c-index on the high-contrast color version is 45. Go figure.
hey Rob.. thanks for having a look at Touch.. it did come out better than i thought it did when i looked again this afternoon.. there are a couple things id change, but im still pleased with the outcome.. glad you liked it..
hey man thanks for commenting on "blazing wings".. that one was one of the most time consuming manip that i've done so i'm glad you liked the finished product ;]
Hey Robert , thx for the comment on bungee jump , always appreciated.
I can't take credit for the pic (obviously ) But what makes it even greater ; it was shot with a disposible camera.
Hi Robert - Thank you for looking at my quilt: Postcards From The Edge, and for calling it art. I appreciate it very much. I'm glad to have found a hobby with such limitless possibilities.
Hey Rob,
Thanks for your comments on "CN Tower from Below." I am glad you liked the perspective. I was laying on my back on a bench (it was the end of a long trip and I was tired) when I saw the shot and go out my camera. I am glad you enjoyed it!
Lotsa thanks Rob for checking out Thomas Jefferson ...he's there every day & nite doin' his thang!! It's standing room only buddy, so get there early!! LOL!!
Good morning Rob! When I see your comment on one of my pictures I know I have done something right! So thanks a ton for commenting on "Little Port Sunset", means a lot coming from you! It was taken only last weekend during a little vacation I took. I had seen the bird flying around so all I had to do is wait for it to step in front of my lens, I also thought it would be pretty cool. Maybe I'll post more of the same island. I hope you are doing well and wish you a great day, Maria
thanks robert for responding to my plea about lionfish. i have already started working on the scratches which i had never noticed. it will take awhile, and then on to the other details. i'm so glad that you liked some of my other photographs. where in carolina do you live? my last upload orphan annie beach house was taken in south carolina at isle of palms. again, thanks for your help! jen
hey Rob.. thank you for the very nice comment on Grasp.. its always a pleasure to hear from you and im glad this image caught some attention.. take care man..
Rob, thank you very much for your compliments on "Nap Time". I have taken many shots of Louie, but you are right that one takes the cake. Thank you for stopping by.
Hello Robert. Thank you for your comments about “Aerial Surveillance”. This kind of photography teaches you patience, there just isn’t any other way to do it but lord knows it’s lesson I need too :-)
Thank you Robert! I'm glad that you took the time to leave that kind comment on my images. I appreciate your support and value your opinion. You have a very fine gallery of images and I really enjoy your digital illustrations. Bravo.

Howdy from Arizona! Thank you for stopping and commenting at "SoAZ". I couldn't decide whether to keep the branch or not but finally decided it added some extra depth and also some AZ 'thorniness'. Thanks again ....
Hey Robert, thank you so much for your encouraging comment on my latest image "Santorini Cliffs" , I appreciate it. Santorini is my favorite of the islands, the view is just amazing. The story is that it used to be perfectly round until a volcano exploded thousands of years ago and half of the island shunk in the sea creating those cliffs you see in my picture. So glad u liked this, means a lot. All the best,
Maria
Awe and Wonder was an image that I took at the Tampa Aquarium. It was a fair image with some other children and a huge glare on the rightside. I was playing with photoshop and this cropped stylized image was the result. I feel the boy is what makes this image. Thanks Robert for the nice comments on this image.

Man, I *love* what you're doing in Illustrator! Those are amazingly professional and thanks so much for sharing them with us. You've got an amazing talent there plus the patience and discipline to develop stuff like this. I love this stuff!

Thanks Robert for viewing and commenting on my Hotlanta image. I'm glad that you like it. I had to do some Photoshop manipulations to increase the clarity and contrast. The lens was up against the window shooting in manual mode at iso100 f-11 1/160 of a second focused on infinity.

Thankyou for commenting on 'Hong Kong - Not Pretty' Robert, and you are quite correct in what you say in that there are poor living conditions in all parts of the world. I live in New Zealand and consider myself very fortunate but do not close my eyes to reality either here or anywhere else. Interestingly, about that housing in HK is that it is not only unfortunate people who live there, and with the shortage of housing many think themselves lucky to live in these buildings. We had a tour guide one day there who lived in just such acommodation, well educated, and like most residents immaculately presented, despite sharing communal washing and bathroom facilities etc.I have a young Chinese friend whose mother recently took her grandfather there to visit relatives. He is elderly and frail and can not climb stairs, and was disappointed to discover many buildings like that are without lifts. Some of his elderly friends and family have not left their apartments for years due to that fact. I thought that was remarkably sad that he was unable to see them.
If my picture served to remind some of us of our good fortune in having more space and privacy then that is good.
LOL, I certainly did not expect it to score highly on the c-index (and how right I was :) ) but did not expect so many comments either.
Eve :)
Your stopping by my picture led me to your Gallery - your work is exceptional.
Hey Rob! Love your recent work, hope to see more from you too. Just wanted to drop by and say happy holidays :) Hope your Thanksgiving went well and that you have a merry Christmas.
Hi Robert, thankyou so much for your wonderful comment on my shipwreck pic, I really appreciate your taking the time to have a look and leave feedback. All the best, Kelcey.
Hey groo2k! I have a bit of a... request? I'm a huge fan of the Christmas tree and snowflake designs. Ever thought of making images for the rest of the seasons? I would totally dig a fall leaves design in the same style as the snowflakes.
