Hey ,Kirby, you really must visit Etretat and its huge cliffs..:))smile!..Thank you very much for such a nice comment on my work..I greatly appreciated it!!
I know the"Rustic scene(Lepsa) #1" isn't a great shot..(it is full of faults)but is genuine rustic and I wanted share this with you!..Thanks a lot ,my friend for such a nice comment on it!
The place where the young nun from my last shot lives ,is this old nunnery in Lepsa(the little mountain village, where I have a cottage for weekends)..It's really a peaceful place and I'm very grateful for your nice words on it!
Thank you Kirby, for the great comment and the advice. I've made it 30 years without a tattoo, even with a stint in the Navy. I think I'm out of the woods. =)
Thanks so much Kirby. My wife's been after me to write childrens stories for some time. Nice of you to think this would make a good photo for a book. Stay safe and keep in touch.
Thanks so much Kirby. Nice to see you commenting. Looking forward to commenting on one of your photos. I appreciate your taking the time to view and comment on Opening Day.
Thanks ,my friend, for such nice words on Mr Big Eyes!!!...I was simply lucky, last summer,at Lepsa ,a little mountain village, where we have a cottage..and...I was in vacation(a lot of free time..to shot insects....:)smile..:)...)
Wow Kirby. That was a powerful commentary you made on The Old Nag. I truly appreciate your indication that my photgraphy is powerful and full of so many things that I need not say anything. That is quite a compliment.
I wish I could just post a photo and go on, but that is not who I am. I enjoy doing both aspects of my posts. I know some view the stories as a hinderance and found this distracting as you said. This site is a fun, not so serious outlet for me and if I become a nuisance I will discontinue. I do appreciate you honest feelings and I'm glad you thought enough of me to let me know. Have a good day Kirby.
Once again Kirby I thank you. I hope you are correct in your analysis. I would like to be all those things you see in my work. I just try to picture the best shot in my mind and then take it. This site has taught me a lot about proper technigues but I still picture the picture. Thanks my friend for taking the time to speak your mind.
Thanks Kirby for commenting on Shadeseeker. I see your point on lower angle and I could have shot some. I will remember that next time. It was late evening and I was at my grandson's baseball game when I found this little spot. Have a good weekend.
Thanks so much Kirby for commenting on Voting Booth. Sounds like you need to venture back to the west. The sky has been like that a lot this summer. I love it.
Thanks a lot Kirby for nice comments on Take Me Out To the Ballgame. I am glad you connect to the animal pictures. It must be accidental that I capture the emotions of which you speak. Have a good day.
Thanks Kirby. Good luck to you whatever you do. I appreciate the words on Let The Sun Shine In. It must have really been bad judging from the scores. Oh well, it is a learning experience as you say.
Thanks also Kirby for the nice words on Last Ride and the reminder that the scores don't mean anything. I just like to blow off steam once in a while. Thanks for helping get my feet back on the ground. Glad you liked the hearse.
Nice to hear from you again Kirby. Your thoughtful words on R.I.P. really made me feel good. I wish I was as adept at honoring life as you say. I do try however.
Once again I thank you Kirby. This time it is for Don Bull Frog. You are right about him being aloof. That is what I liked about his as well. That is why he is the Don.
I visited some very special places in Netherlands..the sand dunes were really impressive for me..the wonderful Dutch style of life,also....:)..Thank you for your nice comment on "Sand dunes"!
Thanks so much for your kind words on Portrait of Fall#6. I appreciate it. Not much time for a composed shot, one of thoswe side of the road cars racing by trying not to get hit photos, lol, glad you liked it though.
