Thanks for your nice comment on It's Black.. It is a type of Hollyhock.. The packet of seeds I bought, were supposed to be white, but turned out to be this black... Think some one made a mistake.. I like it anyway..

Hi Emerson. . Thanks for your feedback for Artichoke Flower - Its such a weird flower - there is something in appreciation of the odd that beauty overlooks, when you look closer or deeper - of course its in the eye of the beholder.
Thanks Emerson for the post on Skipton Park... I suppose your going to tell me now the sun always shines in Lancashire and that big black wall of grey drizzly clouds I hit when I drive up past the moors on my way to Manchester is just a figment of my imagination :-)
Cheaper, yes probably, as they fly PC-9s not Hawks and there are six of them, not nine. Refelcts the size of our armed forces. Copy, not really. They are different team from the red arrows and the blue angels and . . .

If my comment on your work ever seems to criticise, it does not. It is always so that we may learn together.
Hi Emerson, Thanks for your kind comment on "By Your Side". You're extremely observant about the muscles on the foal. I never thought about it that way, but I guess it's true...I just draw what I see. I'm sure that you'll be able to draw beautifully when you're older. Good luck on your art!
Hi Emerson, I just wanted to comment on "Dead Tree" It looks so
old & mystical. It reminds me of the Tree of Gondor in the Lord of the
Rings movies.Oh, by the way what is it like in England? I've always
wanted to go there but I'm stuck here in Maryland! G2G! :)
-Alex
Hi Emerson! Thankyou 4 sending a message back! It is nice in Maryland,
though here in Brandywine it's flat. In other parts of Maryland we have
mountains. By the way, have you ever been 2 Scotland? G2G! :)
-Alex
Thank you so much for your comment on the creek.. When I was a little girl that creek was crystal clear... Full of little fish.. It is muddy because of the mining in the area... It is very sad for me to see it like that.. It still is a pretty place, anyway..
Hi Emerson, many thanks for your lovely words on "Quiet Little Stream"! I really appreciate your comments and hope you revisit my gallery! Also, I offer to you my big 'WELCOME' to Caedes and hope you have a great time here on the site! You will meet some really great people here! Sincerely, Marilyn
Hi Emerson! Sadly no I haven't been 2 Scotland. You see I'am
fascinated by the Medieval history of the United Kingdom. And I
really want 2 go there to see the castles & the mountains. Also Loch Ness.
But I won't be able to go there until next summer. Hey, maybe when I go
there I might be able 2 see you. We're staying in Scotland for 10 days, so I
should have some time. By the way do you live near London? I heard
that there was a terrorist attack there.
-Alex
Yeah, it was different here when the World Trade Centers fell. All of the
United States was in shock. In fact I had a friend who worked in the Pentagon
and she was killed. I was only in fourth grade. Well I'm happy the bombing
didn't affect you. By the way do you believe in the Loch Ness monster?
-Alex
No, you didn't upset me by mentioning the attacks. I got over the sadness
years ago. Oh, and when I go to Scotland I will try to take a picture of
him/her/it. By the way, have you heard of the movie "The War of the Worlds?"
-Alex
If you really "saw the light" then you are a friend of mine. It makes me feel very good when people appreciate b & w images, 'cause we need that more "on our site".
Thanks!
Hi Emerson
Thanks so much for your kind words on Big Splash, I am glad that you like it:-) I see you live in Lancashire, I was born in Oldham Lancs, but have lived in South Africa for many years.
Deborah
Heya Emerson :D
Thanks for stopping by *The Very Depths Of Melancholy*...your comments are much appreciated and I'm pleased you liked the image ^_^
Have a fantastic day!
Hello Emerson
Thanks for appreciation of "Closer to Home" - I guess you have the Yorkshire Moors - just a hop and skip away - but isn't Yorkshire as swear word for someone from Lancashire. . . ; )
Hey thanks for commenting on Sun and Shadow! Yeah, I could have made it darker...but I kindof wanted to catch a happier feeling in the shot. Thanks for the advice though! I hope you have a wonderful day! =)
Thank you for your generous comments on my photographs :) I'm glad you are enjoying them. keep your eye open because in the next few minutes I have a new one coming through the new images gallery.... it's a night shot of the stars and I think it turned out great :) Thanks again your feedback is always appreciated :)
Thanks for commenting on Schoodic Point, it's my very first picture I've put up here. I have a couple more I'm thinking about putting up sometime, I have begun to get into photography alot more lately so I'll probably be adding more pictures soon. Thanks!
Thanks for the comment on Balls of Fire. I am looking at tweaking it slightly. The blue is actually the ambience of the reflective box, I didn't have it turned all the way down. I am just intrigued to see how it would come out.
Thanks for the comment... yes i did up the contrast quite a bit and upped the exposure value by 1 or 1.5 I shot it raw so I had more flexibility, before adjusting some of the raw image settings it was fairly gray and the stars were a harders to see but was still very nice as it was. You could still see the milky way in it. I just basically darkened the sky and brightened the stars by doing the setting adjustments. I'm glad you liked it :)

Emerson, you're welcome to use Road to the Sangres as you please. Thanks for commenting on it...not any landscapes like this one in the UK, but I'd gladly spend a month with my camera over where you live.
By the way, keep up the good work with your photos...some very nice shots in your gallery! See the quote from Charlie Waite at the bottom of my post? Great British landscape photographer! His book on landscape photography is a real inspiration.
Hi ya Emerson. Thanks for leaving a message in my profile. Always glad to meet a fellow cat lover. :)) I have 3 cats. All rescues. 2 all white twin males, Gus & Homer., and a black and white female, Domino. Have a great day! Sarah :)

Thanks for commenting on Pale.. It is much appreciated.. I took the photo both ways, but the lovely color of the rose didn't look nearly as nice it full focus, so I posted the one that was slightly out of focus.. Thanks anyway.. Your input is always welcomed..

Hi Emerson, thank you for the comment on (Hidden Grotto). You are right about the exposure. It was taken at dusk with about a 1 second exposure. Glad you enjoyed it~
Thanks for the comment on my image "Is there Hope" ...and actually I did that image in PhotoImpression ...not exactly Photoshop.. It's just a program that came with my Canon Powershot ...
HI Emerson
Thanks for your comment on "hermit"
You are right its slighty out of focus...but i liked the subject so much that i desided to post it anyway.
Hi Emerson
Thanks for your nice comment on "just shades"
You are right there is no defenite focus on this one...and thats on purpose.
I just wanted to show colors and shades.
Just wanted to show some watercolor painting or something like that.
Hi Emorson
Yes me again..grinn.
Thanks for your nice comment on "It isn't Dracula's castle...but who lives here".
I saw this one when driving around...but it was on the other side of a river and i couldn't get closer.
I drove for hours to find it to get a closer shot, but it became to dark to search.
Emerson thanks a lot for the explanation about ( Radiation ) how you did it. I try to use photoshop but I think I have to follow lessons. Never the less "THANKS A LOT".
Hi there! A belated "Thank you!" for your kind comment on "Annabel Lee." I'm so glad you enjoyed it, I put a lot of time into it :) And also for "Bok Sanctuary - Garden Stream." It was such a lovely and peaceful place! Thanks again!
Good morning Emerson
Many thanks for your appreciation on "Babinda Creek 05". I am hoping that one day the Parks and Wildlife people extend the walking track through the rainforest closer down to the bottom of the valley.
The beauty in this part of Australia is so magnificent. A photo or a painting can do no more than give a hint, so expect to see lots of hints over time :)
Enjoy your day

And one more time. This time on "Tree fern among trees". Thank you, Emerson. Yes, they are big. I am a fraction over six feet tall, and a full grown one would stand perhaps half of that again or a bit more. These are an Australian rainforest native, and grow prolificaly all through this area.
Enjoy your day

Thank you Emerson for your lovely comments on "The Old Millar Family Home". It is always a pleasure to have you visit my Gallery.

Good morning Emerson
My thanks for your appreciative comments on "Insie Winsie". Yes, the smaller spider is closer to what many people would regard as "normal" size, depending on what you would call "normal. I know there are spiders in the world much larger, but this is plenty big enough for me - the body was about as long as the longest joint on my longest finger.
As well, am pleased you enjoyed "Tree at high tide". Thankl you. I am certain your father would have very serious words to me about the water applied to this plant :).
Enjoy your day

Thanks for checking out my sunset picture too. My friend lives on that lake, and this picture is taken from his dock. He is so lucky to view such sunsets quite regularly. I am happy you enjoyed the picture.
Good morning Emerson
Your praise on the photo "Babinda Creek 03" is appreciated. Thank you. Yes, it is a fallen tree in the middle; I think that I took the image from the spot that the tree once stood at the edge of the creek bank - only thing that worried me was that it may give way under me also.
Enjoy your day

Hey Emerson, thank you very much for commenting on Summer Sunset and I appreciate the suggestion about the border, maybe you are right, maybe the black border makes the picture too dark after all. Thank you and have a great day!
Good morning Emerson
Should you ever come to visit Australia, you can see that you will need to allow some weeks to properly enjoy far north Queensland. Thank you for the comments on "Beach at Cardwell". As Jacqueline said in her post before yours - 20 years ago, there was nothing much here. Times have indeed changed - now there is a strip along the highway with accomodation, food and fuel for the tourists and holiday makers.
Enjoy your day

Thanks Emerson for the post on the Mustang pic - it was originally in red but i changed it to the Viper blue colour scheme which I think looks much more hard core - red sports cars - so last century :-)
Thank you so much for your thoughts on "The High and Low Road", I'm glad you liked it! It seems to be the general thought that the border was very unnessicary...maybe I should repost without the border? If more people think so, then I defenatly will. Thanks again!
nice to see you commenting so often on my offerings. The idea for Coffee break fantasy? Well, I my mind! Don't you have your day dreams? Come on and put them to work!
Thanks!
its still a naff colour to have on your sports car :-) and in answer to your question i've never seen a red aston on the road - always blue, black, silver or green. the majority of ferraris on the road over my neck of the woods (and there are a lot due to the prolification of drug dealers) are either black or that ghastly banana yellow.
Thanks for your comment on "Mysterious glance" I really do like to know people's opinions!
And though larger res. is sometimes good, I kinda like the pixelation on this one! Thanks for the input though!

Good morning Emerson
I am very glad you have enjoyed "Tea, anyone?". Many thanks for your comments. Actually, the thought of helping myself did not occur to me, though being unfenced it is likely that others have taken some (and will again in the future). One day when am driving by, however, if the harvester or other staff are in the paddock I will stop and ask if can grab a couple of leaves. They can only say no :)
Enjoy your day

Hi Emerson...thank you for the positive feedback on I Saw The Light...very glad you enjoyed it and found the background interesting too...much appreciated.:Pat.
Thankyou, i definately agree with you. I think the cherries look more interesting when some split and become over ripe. However the pic won't be here for long, the rating is sinking fast. the people have spoken i guess
i wanted to say thanks but i posted this comment under cherries aswell to help explain what i saw in the pic
