Thank you so much for your thoughts on "The High and Low Road", I'm glad you liked it! It seems to be the general thought that the border was very unnessicary...maybe I should repost without the border? If more people think so, then I defenatly will. Thanks again!
nice to see you commenting so often on my offerings. The idea for Coffee break fantasy? Well, I my mind! Don't you have your day dreams? Come on and put them to work!
Thanks!
its still a naff colour to have on your sports car :-) and in answer to your question i've never seen a red aston on the road - always blue, black, silver or green. the majority of ferraris on the road over my neck of the woods (and there are a lot due to the prolification of drug dealers) are either black or that ghastly banana yellow.
Thanks for your comment on "Mysterious glance" I really do like to know people's opinions!
And though larger res. is sometimes good, I kinda like the pixelation on this one! Thanks for the input though!

Good morning Emerson
I am very glad you have enjoyed "Tea, anyone?". Many thanks for your comments. Actually, the thought of helping myself did not occur to me, though being unfenced it is likely that others have taken some (and will again in the future). One day when am driving by, however, if the harvester or other staff are in the paddock I will stop and ask if can grab a couple of leaves. They can only say no :)
Enjoy your day

Hi Emerson...thank you for the positive feedback on I Saw The Light...very glad you enjoyed it and found the background interesting too...much appreciated.:Pat.
Thankyou, i definately agree with you. I think the cherries look more interesting when some split and become over ripe. However the pic won't be here for long, the rating is sinking fast. the people have spoken i guess
i wanted to say thanks but i posted this comment under cherries aswell to help explain what i saw in the pic
Hi Emerson
Thanks for you nice comment on "Azure Damselfly" glad you like this one too.
your comment is always appreciated.
Your question of how on earth i manage to shoot such great pictures of damselflies...just is a question of a good camera and lots of time to shoot and making hunderds shots of them..see what you did wrong..//and go again and do it better.
Like anything in life...pushing the limits of whats able for you.
Haha some might call me fanatic....for me its just pure love of nature and the wish to become a better photographer
(still trying to get the end caption to work but anyway,)
I wanted the framing to be off centre to help alter the perspective. I never thought of the start bar because i was using objectdock so there was nothing shown on my desktop.
thanks Emerson for the post on Ullswater - I love it there too but I always end up coming back home with flu or something after getting caught in cold wet weather :-)

Hello Emerson, Thank you for the compliment on my Hibiscus. I took this picture after a light shower. Most of the hibiscus plant is covered by a lilac tree. Just the flowers on the wind side got wet, while most of the plant stayed dry.

Thanks Emerson, for checking out a great work of art. They are very large, and to carve them out of granite to me makes them monumental. I have read the story of how they were made, what great minds and skills they had back in those day, and i might add a lot of the building in your country and other things just blow me away at their beauty. Thanks again for your comments and have a great day. Dwight.
Evil Intent, Emerson these webs are very low to the ground which let's them collect a lot of dew over night, and they are very strong, go out early in the morning around here in Indiana and you can see hundreds of them. I added a little blue tint to give it the evil look. hehe. Thanks again for interest. Dwight.

Thanks Emerson for the great post on La Lune - trust me when I say that was the best of a whole heap of shots (a 2gig card full) camera shake a big problem even on a sturdy tripod at such a huge distance.
Hi Emerson
It was ages ago when you posted comments on Shimmer and Shimmer 2 but I wanted to thank you for you kind words... Sorry its taken so long...
Keep well!

Really? Don't give it away to me!!! Lol. I like Eragon, he's gotta be my favorite character, him and Roran, but if I had to choose one, it would be Eragon. Whos your fav?

Really? Thats neat. I know, I hate myself for doing this, when I started reading Eldest I read a sentence on the last page which gave away alot, but people keep telling me things and giving away things, lol, but I am really loving it so far.
lol, Really? You read Eragon 4 times? When I read the trilogy, I take my time and soak in every word and such, so I know I'm not missing anything, lol I just didn't know how to express my love for the books, so I made a website, about it. I'm awaiting the arival of the movie next June! lol. .But, the site is here if you'd like to view it Emerson.:)
lol YAY! I'm done with Eldest! You were right Emerson, it is too awsome! There are so many events all jam packed together in the end! Gee! I want to read the third book!!!!!!! lol
Again? Oh my gosh, lol. You really must be the trilogy's biggest fan, Emmerson, lol. *sighs* I am in the same situation you are, my friend. I want to read the third book and don't want the trilogy to end..........Glad you like my site too! I worked really hard on it, your comments are well apprecaited, dear ^_^
Im glad you like "race of lights", I like how you work with B&W and color together, it gives a diferent perpective of some things...England is wonderful city, why dont try 2 post images of its places... : )
Emerson,
Thanks for your input on --nowhere fast-- .... you guessed right, it was very difficult to focus it properly while i drove the car...it's a Scion XB. i'll let you know once i work on the image some more :]
Hey Emerson .. thanks for your comment on Leaf on Water 3. It's sometimes interesting what you can make out of an otherwise simple image. Glad you enjoyed it and took the time to comment.
Hi Emerson, thanks for the comments on "Houses of Parliament 1". I took it during my 10 week stay in London this summer when I was working as an intern at Kew Gardens. Thanks again for the comments!

thanks for your comment on electric blue, i'm glad you liked the image. i couldn't think of any other names, so thats why i called it that. i'm open to any suggestions if you have any....i'll give you credit for the name.
You commented asking about my camera - I'm not sure about the model on the digital camera I use, but I know it's some sort of Nikon and it's pretty basic without many features and not much to offer in the way of a lens; as for my SLR, I use a Canon AE-1 with a 52mm lens. I've got a 102mm lens with it too, but I don't use it very often.
Thank you for your comments on "Nature truly is beautiful" and "Violet" Emerson, I'm glad you like my work. As for your question - I use photoshop CS (cant live without it) and I'm still deciding whether to upgrade to CS2, I imagine there a whole load of new features so ill have to look into it. On this new years eve I wish you a prosperous and healthy year to come.
Thanks so much for your kind remarks on 'Love Forlorn', I really appreciate it! I will try what you suggested, thank you for the idea! All this manip is kinda' new to me, so I will see what I can come up! Anyhoo, thanks again!
I must agree about the lack of harshness in “Macquarie Sunset. Thank you for all your insightful comments about my photos, I really enjoy reading them.
I'm with you on the red fence ... its how it was and I'm in a minimal touch mode these days, pretty much all I do is colour temp correct, sharpen a bit and crop
Hi Emerson: I'm pleased you like "Bedding Down". They really are magnificent animals that can be very dangerous up close. Especially if they are feeling threatened or are protecting their harem.
Also thanks for your very kind comments on "Afternoon Weather".

Hey Emerson! Glad you liked my posting 4UU-4. You asked if I wrapped up warm. As a matter of fact the day was relatively warm, though a bit breezy at the top of Sulphur Mountain where I took the shot. Check out www.banffgondola.com!
Thank you for your comments to 'Pond-Life'....I also 'mirror your words..I know exacly what you mean!!!!..........sincere thanks for your visit........Bob
Thank you Emerson for your comments on "Wenatchee River Surprise". I'm sorry it has taken me so long to answer your post but I had major back surgery and I'm just now catching up. As to upping the contrast, I didn't up it at all. First I use a polarizer on ALL of my shots, in this case the image is half a stop under exposed and I use Fuji Velvia, which has a very good saturation quality about it.
Thanks again.

hey Emerson.. thank you for the comments on Something Purple - Revisited & U1.. and nope, its not gun parts hehe.. subscribe to the image.. im gonna let it go for a couple days to see if anyone can guess it :D
Hi Emerson, thanks for your comments on Fellfoot 2, very much appreciated. It is a good spot to see the RAF testing. If your interested, a better place is thirlmere. After they comeover the top of Dunmail Raise they drop very low and fly right along the length of the lake and because the valley is thin and steep there are some great vantage points.
Hello Emerson. What wonderful comments you left at “A New Day at Toronto Bay.” Thank you. I have another one with a few Pacific Black Ducks swimming past but that one was really in your face.
Hello Emerson. Your comments about “Private Reflections” are much appreciated, even the critique about the borders. Thank you. Have you tried auto hiding the task bar? Some people like it and some don’t. Personally I think a start button without a task bar would be perfect.
Hey! Thanks Emerson for the excellent feedback you left on my 'Springbok in sunset'.
About the border, I do agree. Just a problem with the 3/2 ratio of the original image.
Thanks again!
Hello Emerson. I really like your idea of backlighting the cactus blooms in “Blooming Midnight”. Thank you, it was only the neighbours Rottweiler that prevented me from doing it this year :-)
Hi Emerson
Thank you for your kind comments on Cosmic Symphony:-) I am at school at the moment when I get home I will check out Apophysis and figure out what I did, I will send you a personal message when I've figured it out:-)
Deborah
Would like to thank you for your warm comment on panorama. Great to know you found it so interesting. Tell me more about your Polish origin... Is one of your parents Polish?
Thank you Emerson for that nice comment on the storm surge barrier (and for the info I might add) now you can go back to checking the link again (lol) sorry, couldn't resist:)
Dear Emerson, I just wanted you to know that you were right about Flame being shot with the Canon and not the Kodak. Good eye! Thanks for stopping by. Cindy
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.
