Thank you for your comments about “Nocturnal Grace”. I know what you mean about that ship getting the imagination going. In fact I’d like to experience life as a sailor on a ship like that.
Thank you so much for your comment in "Flowers!" Your feedback has really helped me for future works in photography.
Sorry I couldn't have it any bigger--my computer slows down for these types of works.
Anyway, thank you so much! =)
"I decided that it was not wisdom that enabled [poets] to write their poetry, but a kind of instinct or inspiration, such as you find in seers and prophets who deliver all their sublime messages without knowing in the least what they mean."

you asked what camera is best for the macro.
Well, it's not about the camera, they are all good.
It's all about the lens. This was shot with a Canon EFS-60 mm macro. A relatively cheap lens, but also one of the best lenses on the market.
Have a look at this site:

Good luck!

Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.

Thanks for taking the time to comment on "Mixed Bouquet". I noticed it seemed a little blurred full size also but I took a chance posting it. I'm still learning!
Thanks for commenting on "The Wedding Car". Those Morris Minor Travellers are wonderful. The original "half-timbered" car and this one is in fine condition.

Thankyou so much for your wonderful comment on my shipwreck pic, I really appreciate your taking the time to have a look and leave feedback. All the best, Kelcey.
Thanks Humble one for the nice comments on Grandfather's Walk. It is a tad blurry. Was taken free hand while I was on my walk and the little point and shoot is difficult to hold still. Hence the blurriness. Thanks for taking the time to look.
That line on my photo is actually a verse in Psalms, and when you read it in it's context, it very much makes sense and in no way says that man is worthless. It says the exact opposite:
When I consider your heavens,
the work of your fingers,
the moon and the stars,
which you have set in place,
what is man that you are mindful of him,
the son of man that you care for him?
You made him a little lower than the heavenly beings
and crowned him with glory and honor.
David is looking at the beauty around Him and seeing how beautiful God is, and THEN comparing THAT to himself and saying "why would such a glorious God LOVE man enough to take on all his problems and die for him?"
Its actually quite amazing, and in NO WAY does God view us as worthless, if He did, He would leave us to rot in our depression.
Thankyou for your kind words on Winter Light #2 - glad you liked it.
Camera was Panasonic DMC-FZ7 (mentioned in my intro) - not SLR. I used the auto Landscape setting and 12X zoom :)
thanks for your kind comment on The Ball1 i will try messing with it and see what a darker background would do, i do like the thought of it, thanks for the suggestion!

Thank you for your nice comments on some of my images! I appreciate all of them, but I'm especially happy when someone comments on an old image like "Belvedere". (It was taken with my first digital camera, a small point-and-shoot, so the quality is not the best...)

And the Lord spake, saying, "First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who, being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it."
