Hi Austin, and thanks for your comment on my Escher pic. I started off by putting a photo through a kaleidoscope effect out of boredom, but when the result reminded me of Escher I tweaked it a bit to emphasise the effect. I'm glad you thought it was OK - I like Escher's pics but I'm nowhere near an expert....
Thanks Austin for your comment on Angel Wings... im glad you liked it.. i wasnt sure whether to put this one on here .. but with your comments im glad i did... thank you
Thanks for the nice compliments on "Evil Eye", my brother pointed out the frog to me lol. Love how different people have different perspectives on the same image.
Thanks for your thoughts on "Prickly Green", I am glad you liked it. The unique color comes from an original monochrome turned negative with a purple hue. I just kept playing with it, and I kinda like the way it turned out. Thanks again.
Thanks Austin for commenting on my rework of Jarmo's Russian Military Original photo. I felt that the photo had more stories to tell if it was enhanced. I'm glad you think it was worth the effort.

But words are things, and a small drop of ink, falling, like dew, upon a thought produces that which makes thousands, perhaps millions think and smile.
Art is everywhere, except it has to pass through a creative mind.
Thanks for the comment on "Dulcet". "As for it being too dark, I was going for that effect. It is more dark than most of the sibling pictures I took, but this one carried the most emotion, or at least for me. I could have made it brighter, but I barely touched the contrast, mostly just edited out the imperfections and blurred it a tad." When I checked from the library, I could barely make it out too, but I personally think the amount of light is perfect on my home monitor. If you comment on it being to dark, perhaps I will upload a lighter version and keep this on as well. Thanks again! :-)
"Let a man listen to his dream so he may hear the story of all men and let him say as he did
when he was a child: this is true; it does not matter what they tell me."

Thanks for your comment on "Great Grey", Austin - I use a Minolta Dimage Z1 which has a 10x optical zoom, and used all of that to get this shot. It's not a wild owl, though, but one of a pair in captivity, so I was a lot closer than I've managed to get to owls in the wild. Thanks for your interest :-)
cheers for the comment on lost in reflection
much appreciated. i read a comment on someones page that said there are no more
ideas left when it comes to photography. well i say there is it just takes a little imagination. think outside the box

Hey, Austin, thanks very much for your comment on Texaco. Pretty amazing to be taking fuel from another plane flying along about 10 feet apart at 500mph. But the Navy pilots made it look pretty easy.
Thank you for your comment on my posting Heavy Metal. I believe you're right about it being a Ford engine. You have a good eye to recognize this without it being covered in grime! ...Rob
Hi, Austin, thanks for your comments on Rippled Dune. Glad you like this. Although the park would probably be ATV paradise, both those types of machines and motorcycles are banned. In fact the dunes themselves are a wilderness. But there is a 4-wheel drive road elsewhere in the park.
thanks so much for your critsism/comments on daybed, i wish i could have gotten mopre light but it was on the far side of a room that they had blocked off so i did the best i could with what i was given.....
Thanks Austin, for your comment on "red phone box" i agree about the big borders...

thanks for your comment for waterfall close up in effects this one was not a macro but a detail of an image that was initially larger for this is come to a little grain

Hey Austin, glad you found the time to look and comment on Glass Work. It was setting in front of the window and i seen all these different colors from the sun shining on it. So i take it out side and start shooting. Thanks again. Dwight.
