Crocosmia is such a graceful plant. It flowers for weeks and the leaves are almost as striking. This one is planted amongst some roses and they really seem to compliment each other.

I am glad you like "ColourContrast". Yes, it is a modified photo of a flower of mine. I used "Virtual Painter", a plugin for Photoshop or PSP, to create this effect.

Thank you Joe for the kind comment on "Going Home". I am glad you like it. About the tower, i thaught about cloning it out, but decided to leave it as is for a feel of reality.
But perhaps you are right, i will make a copy of it without the tower to see how it looks. Thank you for the advise. Greatly appreciated.

Joe thanks so much for the wonderful comment on "Kathleen's Serenity" this one is special for me. After talking with you i found she had left the church but is on her way back and hopes to do missionary work in the future. I for one am not a devote religious person and we both thought it unique that we met here in this beatiful place.

Hey Joe,

Thanks for the comment on "Before the Red Doors". I didn't cut out the sky, though now that you mention it I suppose it looks that way a little bit. But at that moment it just happened to be very cloudy outside. The kind of cloudy that happens without rain. So the sky is really that color. I don't mess with any of my pictures except to resize and maybe black/white it. Thank you again for the comment. It's much appreciated.
