Thanks for replying to my enquiry, Dwight. I travelled up the Californian coast in Oct 02, but it was cloudy and grey the whole way, so I never saw it looking as nice as in your photo!
Hey Dwight. My name is Frankenstein and I live in Western Alaska. I enjoy long walks on the beach and packets of relish. I need some friends so i was hoping you would jump at the oppertunity. I like your name.
Peace out
Thank you very much for the kind words on my gallery. And thank you for the comment on (peach azalea)Very much appreciated. And you have beautiful nature images, nice!Dwight.
If you don't mind I'll forward the big bad bug pic to a friend of mine who may be able to identify it. Not making any promises, but now I'm curious too!
Hey man. Thanks for your remark on "Tranquility." I went to college in the 80's right across St. Charles Avenue from the park which houses this bridge, and believe me I partied right at this spot *many* times and in *many* ways. And you're damn right it's a good spot to party.
Thank you for the wonderful vote and compliment on (Summer Magic), Dwight. I'm really glad that you enjoyed it so much. For some reason it just didn't seem to get the rating that everyone seemed to be giving it. Oh well :). I really appreciate your comment, it's one of my favorites as well~
The unexpected often reveals new ideas and unexplored paths. Therefore, one must learn to “look.” Nothing should restrict one’s manner of expression as long as “it works.” No amount of words can describe a photograph or create one. Frequently, we “find” without seeking, acting upon Pasteur’s expression “Chance favors the prepared mind.” That is why so many great “accidents” seem to happen to better photographers.--Arnold Newman
There is a pleasure in the pathless woods,
There is a rapture on the lonely shore,
There is a society, where none intrudes,
By the deep Sea, and music in its roar,
I love not man less, but Nature more
--Lord Byron
Good Morning Dwight: I never have been able to figure out putting borders on photos in Paintshop. I used Jasc Paint Shop Pro. Thanks for your comments on "Fall Splendor". I'm glad you like it.
Hi there Dwight..thanks for taking the time to stop & comment so warmly on "Flutterby". Your words keep this gal's camera shooting those pics in search of the elusive 'perfect one'..lol! :))
No problems Dwight. :) When I discovered your gallery and browsed through it quickly I saw you had quite a few outstanding photos and I just had to take the time and look at all the goodies. :) I'm about halfway so I guess I might have one or two comments left for you. I'll check the discussion board to see if I can get to know what camera(s) you use. It's always interesting to know what people use when they shoos as exceptional photos as you do.
Hello Dwight, thank you so much for your very kind words on "Nature's Masterpiece". I'm overwhelmed to be in your Favorites Gallery. You do me a great honor.
Dwight: I have to agree with Klas and I need to spend time going through your gallery. What i've seen so far is VERY impressive.
If there were a way to put an entire gallery into your favorites I'd put yours in there. Just had a quick peak through it; Very cool stuff. Keep that "project" coming, it's working out fine so far.
Thank you so much Dwight, from both Joost and I, for stopping by to see Bittersweet...very glad you like it...you are right, the flowers are indeed the motivation for the poem...thanks again. : Pat.
I´m glad you liked my first winter pic (Winter again), Dwight! It isn't easy to keep the camera still these winter days but at least the next one isn´t blurry. I´m seeing forwards to your comments. Have to look at your shots now.
Thank-you. This is the second picture I've ever posted so it feels good that someone knows I exist here at Caedes. It was very nice of you. (re. "Dusky Reflections") Lady Prarie Fire
Hi Dwight, great to hear from you and I especially liked your choice of words in discribing "Radiance", because I felt the same way. I think the colors are so bright, yet so soft. Marilyn
Thank you Dwight for taking the time to view and post a comment on this image. I was on my way to the grocery store when I saw the beautiful clouds. I stopped along the way to photograph this sunset. I have several photos of this vibrant sunset to upload. I'm glad that you like this Macon Sunset 3 photo.

I hold it true that thoughts are things; They're endowed with bodies, breath and wings:
And that we send them forth to fill the world with good results, or ill.
That which we call our secret thought speeds forth to earth's remotest spot, leaving it's blessings or it's woes like tracks behind it as it goes.
We build our future, thought by thought for good or for ill, yet know it not.
Yet so the universe was wrought .
Thought is another name for fate.
Choose then thy destiny and wait, for Love brings Love and Hate brings Hate. - Henry Van Dyke.
Hi Dwight, thanks for your comment On A Clear Day. If you're ever at the Grand Canyon, definitely visit the North Rim. For folks who grew up in the east or midwest, the landscape there is almost too strange and beautiful to comprehend...Mike
Hey Dwight,
Thanks for the feedback on "A Muskoka Bay" I've taken quite a few good shots of this area, if you liked this one you should check out some of the others in my gallery........John
Hi Dwight and again I thank you for liking my work. This time for "Elegant Pink"!! You are right, a rose and it's beauty is self-contained, isn't it? I really just love them and guess what, my favorite color is? Ha Merry Christmas Dwight. Sincerely, Marilyn
Thank you, Dwight, for your nice comment on Westbury Gardens. You can lie down on the grass there, and that's exactly what I did. The place is really very welcoming and amazingly beautiful.
But words are things, and a small drop of ink, falling, like dew, upon a thought produces that which makes thousands, perhaps millions think and smile.
Art is everywhere, except it has to pass through a creative mind.
Hello Dwight! Thanks for viewing and commenting on my image. This is just some more experimentation with Photoshop. I added the fish as a source for the ripple. The cat is from Georgia and the fish was in Tennessee. I'm glad you like my Sleeping With The Fish image.

"Simply look with perceptive eyes at the world about you, and trust to your own reactions and convictions. Ask yourself: "Does this subject move me to feel, think and dream? Can I visualize a print - my own personal statement of what I feel and want to convey - from the subject before me?"
Ansel Adams
Thanks, Dwight, for the kind compliment on "Misty Morning." I captured that last Friday morning and got little else but wet that day. The Oregon Drizzle. Thank goodness for Goretex and Thinsulate! So I'm glad you and so many others have taken the time to comment and praise. It makes it all worthwhile! Steve
Hi Dwight, thanks so much for commenting on and for giving me such high regards for "Full of Life". I appreciate it very much, as I hope you know. Clarity was a problem, but the vivid colors enticed me to post. Sincerely, Marilyn
Thanks Dwight for viewing and commenting on my Window Display photo. This was taken through the window glass. I just put the camera lens on the glass to eliminate the reflection. I'm glad that you enjoyed it.

Hi and thanks for the visit, as you know cold in the midwest, lots of snow, eye of a hawk would make a great photo, if it was warmer, saw one today - to cold to get out of the car
Thanks Dwight for viewing and commenting on my The Sinks GSMNP4 photo. This is one of my favorite areas in the Smokys. I'm glad that you viewed it.
