G'day Jacques,
I had a look at your photos and gave them each a comment. I liked them both. I also added you to my friends list, which means when you post other photos I will be able to come look at them pretty quick.
I hope you enjoy yourself here, there's lots of fantastic photographs and photographers on here, lots to learn if you want to.
Mikel.
G'day Jacques,
Thanks for your nice comments about a couple of my photos recently. Thanks for dropping by and taking the time to comment. :) When you get to Australia you are going to have a lot of fun photographing all the stuff that's here that you don't get in England.
Mikel.
G'day Jacques,
Glad you liked my two most recent photos, The Bullion Tree and The Wachusett Reservoir Church. Thanks for taking the time to comment. :)

Hey Jacques,
Thanks for your nice comment on "Summer Dream", glad you liked it, to answer your question, it was taken on one of the beaches on the island of Ré (a French Atlantic island). I see you've joined Caedes not too long ago so welcome!

Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.

"To photograph is to hold one's breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It's at that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy."
~ Henri Cartier-Bresson
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.
