Morning James...Thankyou for your kind comments on (REFRESHMENTS)....As its coming up to the time of year for celebrations ie Christmas.....I thought someone out there might like it on their desktop for that one special day of the year....All the best...Mick
Hey James :D
Thanks for stopping by my *Water Fae*...I'm very pleased you liked her ^_^
I didn't actually draw the trees myself...they're just photos that I manipulated. As is everything else apart from the faerie which I did draw.
Thanks again and have a great day!
Hello James. Sometimes we must stop and view the little things in life. My Mountain Moth image is just one view of the small world in the vastness of the North Georgia Mountains. Thanks for taking time to view and comment on this image.

James, you certainly have been busy!...I wish I could tell you that I'm offering something like 'frequent flyer miles' after seeing all the great comments you left on so many of my images yesterday, lol...you sure deserve it after taking so much time to view and comment on so many of them...I really appreciate that and want you to know that in viewing your gallery, you have some wonderful captures yourself...they are, without a doubt, a heck of alot better than my first posts here...thank you so much for your kind appreciation of my images and for starting my week off as Artist of the Week in such a big way.:Pat.
Hi James...Thanks for the comments on "Tidalflow" I appreciate it and its very nice to meet you...My wife is from BC and I found that part of the country absolutly beautiful...as can be seen in you excellent photography :) Thanks
Thanks 4 taking your time to check out spring feeling much appreciated and you know that would have been clever to throw Mario in there hehehehehehe...
Hi James.....thanks for commenting on my racing motorcyclist image....Getting this sort of image requires a low ISO and a relatively long exposure plus a lot of swearing at all the failures when you don't get the panning spot on! (Thank goodness for digital cameras!)
Hi, James. Thanks so much for your lauditory feedback and suggestions on "Around the Bend!" While I've worked with Vue d'Esprit, this was my first stab at Terragen and I'm glad to know it looked acceptable from your vantage point! Thanks a lot!

Thanks for all your comments on my animals. Im not sure what the zoom ways on clouds in the sky. I think that i just left it as is and didnt even zoom in at all.

Thanks for checking out Tiny Bubbles. I think there is a generation gap that led to you not getting the tiny bubbles. There is a song called Tiny Bubbles ("Tiny bubbles in wine, makes me happy, makes me feel fine."). It was sung by a Hawaiian singer named Don Ho. that is the connection of the bubbles and the scene. Also the wine glass in the corner brings that together for someone of my generation. Thanks again.
That cheap polarizer thing is a good idea! I have some polarized sunglass, I'm going to try it. We have to get on a voting campaign, votes count. If someone really likes a pic they can keep it on the site by voting. Same way bad pics can be pushed out by voting. Everyone loves getting votes good or bad, that's what will make us all great photographers. Cheaper than photography classes.
Thanks for the comments on "Look Up," I wasn't even going to upload that photo, I just wanted to see if anyone would look at it. It was cold that day and completely overcast hence the light appearing sky. I probably shot up into the brightest part. The photo was a spur of the moment whim.
Thanks for the overwhelming approval of my extraordinary photo "Center of Attention." I got bored and threw that together to see how it would go over. No work of art that...I did it in Picasa2 in all of about 3 minutes. I don't plan on leaving it up for long. Remember the voting thing? Let's see if this garners any.
Hey there James, this is to say thanx for the nice words about my snow covered mountains...I appreciate it so much knowing people enjoy the photos of Oregon...thanx a bunch..verena
Hi James thanks for your observations on Dawn Awakens and I hear what you're saying about the contrast .I'll have another look at it. Thankx for caring.
Thanks so much for your kind words on Forsythia heaven! i really appreciate it! thanks for the advice also, I will try to get another shot, if there re any blossoms left. thanks again! ~abby
Thanks for your comments on 'The Pond,' I appreciate it very much. I'm pretty much stuck on the black frames for landscapes. I may try something different later on. Whether or not I can force myself to upload it is another thing.
Howdy James,
Monument Valley seems to be everyones idea of how Arizona looks. Just about any photo identifies the site to most people.
Thanks for the comments.

Thanks for the comments on 'Deadfall,' much appreciated. Camera? I buy those little throw away jobs. Just kidding...I use a Kodak Z760 6.1 megapixel. Hope to step up to an 8 meg SLR soon.
Hello James,
The photograph does go the white houses the rest is indeed not sharp, I must learn still a hope.
Thank you, however, your response to my photograph "Thorn"
Thank you very much for your kind comments on my piece "PreDawn", it's always appreciated when someone takes a moment to post thier thoughts. As for the settings used...No filters or anything special used and I took over 200 pics that day so I really don't remember what shutter speeds I was at, on that given piece. sorry. Thanks again. dAVE
Hi James. I apologize for taking so long to get back to you about your comment last week on "Sunset Reflected". I have been out of town, and I only just got to see all the traffic on the site. I shot that photo for the same reason as you commented. It looked like candles in the water. The larger scene was the "Ney York Skyline" photo, but this microcosm seemed so much better.
Hello, my name is Naomi. I was wondering if I could use your images for my layouts at http://www.xanga.com/Simply_Lov3able_Layouts? I made a layout using your "Nicomeckl at Sunset 2" image; URL to layout: http://www.xanga.com/lov3able_layout_87. I gave you credit by linking to your gallery. One link is in the navigational bar, and another in the code itself.
Anyway, I just wanted to make sure it was OK to use your images for my layouts; they're SO beautiful!
Thanks James......... your interest and the good comment on "It was cold".
Norway is an appalling beautiful country with a mixture to nature.
Sweetly but also terrible roughly, spectacularly and grand.

Hi James,
Thanks for your nice comments about "Lion". I used Photoshop Elements 3 to work on the picture, but I am only a beginner with photo editing and I'm not sure how to "blend" the background. Perhaps you could give me some tips?

Hello James,
Thanks for the comment on my photograph “Castle Heeswijk”.
We have made a nice day of all together.
My sister and brother in law and my husband and I.
After the visit of the castle, have we on a terrace still what eaten and drink under the enjoyment of music.
Lien.
Thanks James...... for the good comment on Another Castle Heeswijk. It
is such a superb castle and still this way well that you continue come
here. Of within you can see really, however, that it is lived there
in. The wallpaper has worn out. And what was people in former days small.

i used a sanyo Xacti. i got it fairly cheap for $170. 6mp. Its more of a take pictures with your friends type of camera but it works great for close up shots and the quality is almost unbeatable
