Hello Jeff, thanks for visiting my gallery, and for the nice comment on "Curves", I am glad you liked it! To tell you the truth, I have been taking lessons to use PS, it is so fun to do, but I am getting addicted! I can play with it for hours. Younger people like you :-) find it easy to do though...
You can find some good tutorials on the internet, so why don't you give it a try? I am looking forward to it!
Hello Jeff. Thank you for your comments about “Aerial Surveillance”. They are much appreciated. I took about 30 shots all together, of which I kept 3. None of the auto focus shots were useable.
Face in the Crowd --- Glad you enjoyed my shot of the little girl. Thank you for viewing and commenting,Jeff. I was the best looking guy, there.
I don't recall, but looking at the pic, and lighting, I probably did a bit of dodging in the darkroom.
Thanks for the comments on Leaf Satellite and "Yeah Man, But It's a Dry Heat". I see what you mean about the mountains by the way, I never looked at it like that before!
so you're the one who did the pigeons. i love that photo even though i hate pigeons. i'm so glad you liked the magnolia center picture. the magnolia pictures (all of them) are really special to me. they have not been very well received in my opinion. it makes me feel good to think that someone really liked one of them. the latest one "magnolia" has good leaf texture, check it out. thanks so much for taking the time to look at the picture and to write to me. jen
Thanks for the kind comments on "Pink flower" much appreciated.
No, I don´t zooming under the exposure. I use *radial blur zoom* in PS.
Have a nice day Jeff.
Hi Jeff, thanks for commenting my "Hepatica" picture. Yes it is a little red spider, I didn´t see it before I looked at my puter after a download from my camera. Yuor comments are much appreciated /HJ
Hello Jeff, Thank you for the recent note you left in my profile. I certainly do appreciate it. I hope I continue to create things you enjoy. Have a wonderful day. :) Sarah
Hi Jeff, nice to meet you and thank you for looking at Animal Instincts...glad it caught your attention...perhaps I'll do another of this type sometime so stay tuned, hehe...meanwhile I appreciate your time and comments on this lighthearted image.:Pat.
Jeff, on "Lightning tree" I did have it set on bulb and forgot to use a tri pod, I will try again soon, but you can get much better ones with the older analog Nikons with a shutter release cable. I will buy one of those remotes, thank's.
Hey Jeff , thx for the comment on grasshopper , glad you liked it .
Yes , those spots are dust on my sensor , but i'm out of sensor swabs at the moment :-(
High Falls Damsel Fly was a little fellow that I spotted in the under brush. He was co-operative and allowed me to get several photos of him. This was the best of the bunch. Thanks Jeff for viewing and commenting on this image.

Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.

Thanks Jeff for your comments and support on my picture “Natures Camouflage” It was taken on one of my first trips to the butterfly house and still remains one of my favorites.
Hello Jeff, I do nothing special.
I have a canon powershot A70. It is only a 3.2 mega pixel. But with the right techniques, you can have success. I do however, have to try and try again sometimes! Tks for your comments on ~Utterly Gorgeous~

Hello Jeff.....Thankyou for taking the time to have a look at (GOLDEN BALES) and for your kind comments...it is very much appreciated....Yes you are right about the poles in the picture...but it dose'nt matter what angles one takes a photo their will always be something you don't want in the picture...Thanks ....All the best...Mick
Hi Jeff, tks for your comments on What Dreams Are Made Of!
I just used photoshop! When you double click on the layer it offers you options for bevel and emboss. I use the pillow emboss feature and select size and contours.
Hope it was helpful!

Hi Jeff! Thanks for your nice and encouraging comment on my Narcissus photo...:)
I really was hesitant to post it coz of blurriness....but loved the way it appeared narcissistic....:) He may have spotted a minnow but it still fit the image...hahaha Thanks! Terri
Hi Jeff, no time is ever too late when leaving comments on a photo enjoyed. I've been a part of this site for a few years now and there's always an image cropping up that I wonder how I could have missed. That's one of the best things about this site, alway one more great image! Thanks for the kind words on "a frosty afternoon."
Thank you for your visit to my gallery. I am glad "winter lake" caught your attention. In fact this is one of my favourites, cause it is somehow completely not in my style, it is different form my other works. Don't be jelous! I suggest you get in your car and set off in search for some picturesque places: lakes or woods. If you are patient I am sure you will find some. Good luck
I am glad you were brave enough to visit "sunset in the mountains". I must admit it was freezing cold. There weren't many people just standing and taking photos. My fingers were stiff after a couple of minutes. But it was worth it. Thank you for your nice feedback.
Thanks for the comment about Block Tower, Jeff. I've posted a B&W ver. of it. The only thing is now, I'm not sure which one I like more lol. Thanks for the idea.
Hi ya Jeff. Thanks for your recent comments on "Spades Hearts Diamonds Clubs". So glad you enjoyed that fun piece. Yes, I love cards. You name it, I'll play it. :)) Have a great day! Sarah

Your opinion is really valuable for me...
Thanks again...
So nice to read your generous comment on "in the countryside". I have been searching for some peaceful countryside scenery for a long time. Just fields, blue sky and perhaps some lonely tree. Glad you found it so appelaing.
I would like to invite you to have a swim in the lake. The place is wonderful and surprisingly quiet... Although it may not be quiet anymore when all the invited Caedes friends arrive, lol. I am glad you dropped by. Thank you for your nice lines.
Hey Jeff..!
Thanks for your comment on "Sunflower"...
At this image I used polar cilcular filter, what removes haze & reflections and give back bright colours and blue sky...
-but..!
I modified the contrast & brightness with PS a bit...
Howdy Do Jeff... Thank you so much for your remarks on "Within". I'm so glad you liked it. I sure appreciate you letting me know. Your support means a lot. Have a great night! Sarah :)
Thank you so much for your support on "A Touch of Class". Your kind words have really made my day. I'm honored. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day! Sarah
Thanks for stopping by "Imagination". I really appreciate the kind remarks and support. Did you check out the link to the original piece "Vortex"? Have a great weekend. :) Sarah
Hey Jeff :D
Thanks for checking out my CG pic :]
Erm to explain the process briefly...
1. Scan in your sketch and open it up into photoshop...extract the outline and put it on a transparent layer (always keep this layer on top so you don't go out the lines)
2. using a normal brush, paint in the block colours e.g skin, hair, etc.
3. then, for the shading, pick any type of round brush (soft or hard) and change the opacity to around 15%
4. Build up the colour in layers to create a gradient effect (if your don't feel confident doing all the shading on one layer then allocate different layers for highlights, midtones and shadows - that way if you go wrong, it won't mess up your entire drawing) and then use the smudge tool to blend everthing together.
Well that's basically what I do...if you wan't to look at some CG tutorials, your best bet is to look on www.deviantart.com - they have some amazing artists who have done some amazing tutorials (that's where I discovered CGing)
I've also got a tutorial here on Caedes...it's a bit old but the techinques are more simple so if you wanted to have a look, it's HERE
Hope I was of some help there :P
If you have a go don't hesitate to PM me for some tips :]
Best wishes,
:) Thank you Jeff. I'm so glad you enjoyed "Once Upon a Time". It wasn't really intended to be anything specific, just a blend of adventure and fun. Your support and comments mean a lot. Have a great day! Sarah

Hi Jeff, Glad you like my pictures! I live in Kalamazoo. Many of my animal pics are from the Toledo or John Ball zoo. I have pics from Okinawa Japan and China too. I spent a year and a half working in Japan and visited China for a month on my way back to Michigan. Collected some pics along the way. You have real good pics of butterflies. I have a few butterfly pics too. Dean
Picture Purrrfect .
A purrrfect world is what we all want, but, seems too unobtainable. If I've viewed and commented on your post, and you liked my remarks then NO THANKS is needed...just getting to see your wonderful work is thanks enough for me!!
Also BIG thanks to all who check out my work!! I appreciate any and all comments & feedback!!

Hey Jeff, Thanks for your huge commenting on "Lucky Lotus" I really appreciate it! I had no idea it would come out so well ^-^
It was not even a macro. I used a 12 times zoom to get in close and cropped the picture.
I agree, trying to change the brown leaf would ruin the integrity of the picture.

You had me lost for words after your comments about Dunajec castle. I felt quite honoured and humbled to read your warm compliments. With some noise or without it the castle still seems to be a perfect topic for photography.
