But words are things, and a small drop of ink, falling, like dew, upon a thought produces that which makes thousands, perhaps millions think and smile.
Art is everywhere, except it has to pass through a creative mind.
Hi and thank you for your lovely comment about the ghost town,It is not really in "my back yard"..its Montana and Im in Oregon, but its not too far...I try to go each year to see it. The colours of the roofs etc..have been kept up over a hundred years...the best they know how. They are mostly tin or hard wood. There used to be over 100 homes, now there are only a f3ew left..maybe thirty? not sure..thank you again

Thanks for the comment on my Glowing Clown image. Yes, I also think the flash creates a great effect, usually flash images are pretty lousy in my opinion.
Hi Liz. Thanks for taking the time to comment on King's Throne. I really appreciate it. Now I can go back in my hidey-hole for awhile. Love, hugs and kisses.
Pussy Willow was an unplanned shot that turned out nice with the subject being backlit and the background shadows turning dark with the fill flash. Thanks Liz for viewing and commenting on this image. I'm glad that you like it.

Hi Liz, and thank you so much for your enthusiastic description of "A Northern Creek"! Outdoor shots are harder for me than floral shots. That old confort zone thing. I will keep trying and hopefully, it will soon become easier, right? I might surprise even me! Ha Ha! Sincerely, Marilyn
Pussy Willow 3 is one of my favorite new images. It was a very nice surprise when I loaded this image on my computer. Thank you Liz for viewing and commenting on this image. I appreciate your support of this image.

Hi Liz, my how generous you are with your kind words. I really appreciate it Liz! These outdoor shots are very different from photographing floral shots, much more difficult, what do you think? Please come back to see me! Sincerely, Marilyn
Hello, yes, Charlie is a Bishon Frise. He is just as sweet as can be. He is a rescue. My daughter found him for us. He had been left tied to a tree 24/7 during his first 22 months of life. He has come a long way in the year we have had him. He was teasing me when I tried to take the picture. He would not hold still. It wasn't what I wanted, but the best I could get.

Thanks a lot for the nice and long comment. This beauty lives in a monastery garden, St Naum is an old monastery from the 16th century. And for the patio set... it's a restaurant, I couldn't avoid it. And I agre with you, it is distracting a bit, but that is it.
