Hi there Emily ! Thanks for taking a look at Silken Whispers & commenting. I'm so glad you enjoyed it ! It's a program called Apophysis, you'll find a list of commonly used programs in the FAQ I think. It's free, so go ahead & download it & start playing if you want. There's lots of people on site willing to lend you a hand as needed hon.

Thank you very much for your warm and supportive messages left for 'Peep Thu the Port-hole' I'm very glad we agree that images generally look better off centre, or better still - using the 'Rule of Thirds'.
I'm touched that you also made time to look at and comment on 'Crazy-Paving Steps'. Yes, I guarantee you'd have a wonderful time at the location of these two shots - terrific beach, ditto the hotel, and a 1001 things to do during in nearby Sidari. Hope you make it there one day!
Lovely of you to comment on both images; many thanks thanks again, Emily. Take care. Kind regards, Anne-Marie

Thank you for visiting my gallery, Emily. I'm not a great photographer; my shots tend to be odd and not generally crowd pleasers at all. Glad you liked though. Have a good weekend! cheers, Quiet
Thanks for your comments on Hummingbird, that was the first time I had used the clone tool and made it look natural! I may be getting the hang of it after all!

Thanks, Emily, for commenting on "The Cat and The Table". The shot was the best I could get at the time as I had just walked into the room and the cat was preparing to jump off the table. So, I pointed the camera and went click!
Hello Emily....Many thanks for taking the time to have a look at (CORNISH DAWN)and for your comments, they are very much appreciated....Was up very early to capture this one...Thanks again...All the best...Mick.
Hi Emily!! Gladyou liked the camel pic. Wow, what an amazing animal that was. I admit i was afraid of him a bit when I met him but I kept my gaze to the side, and fed him the greens near my feet that he couldn't reach over his fence. This made him more curious and soon was trying to nose me a bit :) I think I could have studied that beautiful creature all day! cheers, Quiet
HI Emily, you're right about the centering thing on Coaster, and my husband commented same. The original photo wasn't wide enough to do anything to it, however I posted another of the actual glass, and cropped it off center. The photo isn't all that great, but was just playing around anyway. Have a good day!! Quiet

Hi Emily, thanks for looking at "Season's over #2" and the comment! I'll check my pictures from that island to see, if there is any other shot with the "pure" beach on it - and I will let you know! It's great, that you like it, even with the table in front ;)
For me, the table in front is just talking to me, supported by the beach chairs: "Have a look - now everthing is over here, but someone forgot to take me away..." It's a mixture of peaceful silence and sad loneliness... and I love this atmosphere.
Nice to meet you...and thank you for adding me to your friend's list! You were very thoughtful in doing this...I read your lovley PM...and I responded...by writing...that I sincerely appreciate your friendly words of praise...and hope we meet again! I will look forward to your next visit...;o)
I have repeated a few of my words written in my PM to you...just for good measure! *smiling*!
I truly do appreciate your interest in my work Emily...your words were very flattering...indeed!

Thank you for making "Figaro in the bathroom" your favorite :)
Keep checking back for more photos of him.
I just got a Kodak EasyShare M1033 and I love the results.
I haven't had a camera for several months and it was very hard to deal with because some people have their music and other hobbies they do; I have my photography and graphics.
My other camera was an HP Photosmart M415, it wasn't great but it took decent pictures.
A friend of mine had accidentally broken it while I was trying to drive her home when she had a bit too much to drink.
Trying to grab the keys from me, thinking it was my phone she grabbed my camera from my shirt pocket and smashed it to the ground.
I think most people would have been upset... I just looked at her and the camera.. "I was gonna get a new one anyway"
lol
Thank you Emily for the comment on "Fearful". I know it is not really a "lovely" shot, but I how can a spider be sweet? :)) I like the way they look in photos, but I am affraid of them. :)
