Hi! Thank you for stopping by & commenting on "Mmm...good food". This photo was taken in a Butterfly Conservatory not far from my home. It is a tropical enviroment that has over 1000 butterflies in free flight, 60+ species of tropical butterflies & hundreds of tropical plants. Quite a neat place to be.!
Thanks for your thoughts on "Haste". I appreciate description on what a person lieks about an image, and you specified quite well. I am gald you liked it.
Thanks for you comments on "river rocks". The only filter in use was the natural lighting of the river canopy. It was a bright sunny day I shot this. I then probably hit a bit of saturation or contrast in photoshop.

Thanks for the comment on "Camouflage it Ain't", jj. Hard to believe how brightly colored wood duck males are. It actually looks overdone in the photo, but that's how bright they really are.
Hi Dave: Thanks for the comments on "The Gaurdian". I use neutral density filters along with a polorizer. I also shoot water shots "Mostly" on overcast days.
Good morning Dave
Thanks for your comments on "Eastern Water Dragon", pleased you enjoyed it. This animal must be very used to people, as it was sunning itself on a rock beside the path. Was able to get within a couple of feet for the frame and it didn't budge.
Enjoy your day

A lot of great photos are taken by mistake, then found. Don't give up on a failure.
"Don't give up on ten failures. Time to give up on fifty failures." Smile. The world needs it and so do you. :)
Good morning Dave
Thank you fr visiting "Rock with reflections" and your appreciative comments. This photo almost wasn't - was sitting on the wet sand of the stream contemplating ahead of me for the last few frames left on my card, and happened to glance to the side. Had I been standing, the reflection would not have been seen. Needless to say, I had found the subject for those frames :)
Enjoy your day

Hey Dave thank you for your feedback on "Colored Nerves"
Maybe your right it shows to busy but a full frame with the leaf didn't do it like I wan't it :/
Its not "glass stain filter", its "glow edges" filter on an inverted B&W leaf picture.
Hi Dave, A big thanks for the comments on 'Cancun Sunrise' I realy appreciate it. I am going back there for 3 weeks in July and will get a beach shot. I got up early for 5 mornings ( driving my wife and kids crazy ) before I got this one and I think it was worth it.
Hi Dave...thanks for the comment on Pre-Flight. It was around 10:00 am and then sun was bright that morning. The background was a dark brick wall which disappeared when I adjusted the contrast a bit.
