Hey Joey..what's up..thanks for commenting on my recent post..I'm finally getting out for a hike this weekend for some new stuff...been looking forward to getting some new shots, so I'll finally have some new ones to share pretty soon.
Joey, thanks for stopping by and commenting on "Old Farm". This picture is only half of the barn that use to be there. I'm hoping to get more pictures up soon of the barn and the house.
Hey Joey..thanks as always for commenting on my recent posts...On "High Falls Creek 2", it was sunny. It had a been a perfect day for hiking (not so perfect for water and waterfalls as you know!), but I broke out a couple ND filters and it did the trick.
We don’t make art to show someone what something looks like. All this requires is eyes (or a lens). Art is supposed to have meaning, emotion, power, or magic. Alan & Mario "FourThirds"
....I'm pumped to go up to Acadia in October. From what I've seen and from what people have told me it is an awesome place. If you end up going in a month or two, you'll have to let me in on any tricks you learned or where I should go.
Thank you Joey for your kind comments on Poppy. It is the first photo I have uploaded for a while as life seems to have speeded up lately and I dont know quite where time has gone. Your comments are very much appreciated!

Thanks for the comment you left on Fork. I am glad you enjoyed it. I have some others to post but if I think of it I will try to post a B/W version of that one for you. What is B/W medium and how do you do that?
Hey Joey. Its funny I was thinking of Stephen on that post. It does look like one of his works, but he always adds his own touch to it. Glad you liked it.
Hi Joey, thanks for your comment on "Pier Hut". I meant I will be leaving Bangor, my place of study, to go back home. So that's where I wil have to find new inspiration for photographic subjects! :)
Thanks a lot, I am really glad that you like my photo and that is your favorite. And the driving was not that bad, but I hate heights, I am scared, but I was brave because I wanted to shoot this one and share it with my friends.
Haiti Mountain Sunset II
I was just cruising along the coast of Haiti and saw this miracle of nature and was so very much in awe from the beauty of purple and blue of the mountains, sea and clouds with the golden rays peeking through.
Thanks for looking Joey!
Diane
People like different things, and thank god. We love different things, but all the same we make wars, and what would happen if we like the same things? I am scared to think about it.
Hi Joey, thankyou for both your lovely comments on my photographs from the Dorset Coastline. It really is my favorite place in the world and im really glad you liked it too :)

Hi Joey, you have been busy posting while i was sleeping!!! Thankyou for your comment on The Spanish Steps. I did try to clone out the yelling child but it didnt work and looked a bit odd so i had to leave him in. Glad you like the rest of it though!
Thankyou also for your comments on The Beautiful Trevi Fountain and The Pantheon. Rome was a photographers paradise except for the massive numbers of tourists.I am a little worried that my posts are beginning to look very similar and wonder if i should stop uploading them. What do you think?

Hi Joey, thanks for your comment on Arch of Septimus Severus. To translate for you.....the Roman Forum was the centre of Ancient Rome, the city centre if you like. In it were the law courts, temples to the Gods, and the roman senate where political decisions were made. Also enclosed in the forum is Palantine Hill, which is one of the 7 hills of Rome that the city is famed to be built on. This is where the Roman Emperors used to live and they will build progressively more and more grand palaces as they tried to out do each other. The word 'palace' is derived from the latin word 'palantine' because of this. Hope this makes sense now!!

Hi Joey, thankyou so much for all your comments on my recent images, especially the Temple of Saturn which did make me laugh! I did consider cloning out 'the venus' but didnt think she was very noticable. I obviously did not consider the beady eyes of the red blooded male LOL!!!

"Schooner Bar" was my favorite. The light wood with brass accents and blue chairs in a curving design were tasteful. The seafaring decor featuring model ships, paintings, a brass compasses and wheel. I found the atmosphere very soothing, some other bars and lounges were just too loud and gaudy for my taste Glad you liked it!
It's not a major tourist destination most people are on their way to somewhere else and just stop by the Petrified Forest, but I found it interesting. Thanks for dropping by Barren Badlands
Thanks for the comments on "Last Ride" Joey. Lot of great entrys in the contest man!!
Gonna try and get back to more postin. It's just been a really busy summer!!
The Maze is a pretty desolate place isn't it. Wander off and get lost in the back country with no water you would be in real trouble since the only water within 50 miles is at the Ranger Station water fountain....yes I really can believe you did run into a sand storm
Don't get lost in the Maze Joey few ever return..thanks for your nice comment
Hello Joey.....Many thanks for viewing (STRAW BALES)and for your high marks,it is very much appreciated ......Thankyou again.....All the best to you Joey..........Mick.

Why now?
Why a year later?
[chuckles inside]...Because you mentioned it Les... until you decided to show your snootiness it was just a simple question.
"You even resurrected (to a degree), this thread here. Why?"
Because I simply wanted to know why, is it wrong to ask why? Do you have a problem in someone resurrecting? A word that you seem to fancy as if a thread was a corpse and I a shaman? :D The logorrhoea you transcribe on this site to dance around questions and flatter yourself is simply psychopathologic in nature. Thank you for your superfluous comment of my new Sig. I thought you'd like that"

And the Lord spake, saying, "First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who, being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it."
Hello Joey.....Thankyou for your comments on (TOMBSTONES)it is very much appreciated.....It is nice to know that you like this one.....Thankyou again.....All the best to you Joey........Mick.
Hi Joey thanks for your great comment about Twilight In Izmir. It was a mild evening in early March and everyone was walking along the Bay and enjoying the weather
Keawa'Ula Bay in late afternoon is just a little break from the Painted Desert and Petrified Forest N.P. with too many rocks and sand hills,..Mahalo for looking Joey! I tried to look at your Violation of Caedes Code of Conduct photo but it was gone, gee I wonder why..ha
Hi Joey here is some info about the Agate House+++++++++
+++++++++++++++++++
Partially reconstructed in the 1930s, Agate House is located on top of a small hill within the Rainbow Forest. Pottery and other artifacts date the pueblo to the Pueblo III period - It is thought that this pueblo may have only been occupied for a short period of time because of the limited number of artifacts found and the absence of a traditional kiva.
Belated but very sincere thanks for your lovely comment on "After the Deluge", I'm so thrilled you liked it as I'm quite fond of it myself:) Best wishes, Kelcey.
Thankyou so much for you comment on 'Broadly Orange' I am loving your posts at the moment, especially Mesa Verde. That sky i breath taking! Hope you're having a good weekend. :)
