Thanks a lot for your flattering comment on "The red carpet"
No post editing on this picture...The only thing i did was to shoot with a couple of different exposure settings and this one with a little lower setting was the one which comes up best in my opinion. Thanks again!! / T
Thank you Jordan for the comments on my Macon Sunset 2 photo. I'm glad that you like it. It was a bland image until I overlayed some extra color and bumped up the contrast.

Top of the Morning Jordan,
Thank you for visiting my, Morning Fog, Conejos Canyon image. I am pleased that you liked it enough to leave a comment. This image was captured just as a fine soft morning was ending. My wife ,Annie, and I have had the pleasure of visiting Ireland twice. Once around the Dublin area and another time near theGallway area. We hope that our next visit will take us to Northern Ireland and the Belfast area

Thanks for the very nice compliment on "Pondside Early." I'd been eyeing that pond for quite some time. Fleeting glimpses from the roadside were tantalizing, but it's pretty inaccessible. That's why I chose an early snowy morning with ice on the road - very little traffic. I had to hike almost 3/4 of a mile on a road with virtually no shoulders. So I'm glad you enjoyed it, and thanks for letting me know. Steve
Jordan - 'Tis a fine place to visit. Navajo Country. Sunset on the Mittens is located on the border of the states of Utah and Arizona. This is a vast place with all of the wonders that you can imagine.

Hi Jordan...thanks for stopping by my Happy St. Patrick's Day image..glad you liked it..I had a look at your Irish backgrounds...quite a nice collection of green there.:Pat.
Hi again, Jordan...thank you for the nice comment on Puddles and Snow...I appreciate it...I'm looking forward to seeing the greenery tho' but the snow is stubborn this year...by the way, I also love your sunsets...thanks again.:Pat.
I hold it true that thoughts are things; They're endowed with bodies, breath and wings:
And that we send them forth to fill the world with good results, or ill.
That which we call our secret thought speeds forth to earth's remotest spot, leaving it's blessings or it's woes like tracks behind it as it goes.
We build our future, thought by thought for good or for ill, yet know it not.
Yet so the universe was wrought .
Thought is another name for fate.
Choose then thy destiny and wait, for Love brings Love and Hate brings Hate. - Henry Van Dyke.
Hello Jordan, thank you for your comments on Who Goes There. I only wish the image had been clearer. It was a new camera at the time and I have to admit I knew little about shutter speeds and aperture at that time. I appreciate your comments.

Hi there Jordan...thanks so much for your encouraging words on ~reflections~. I really cannot be worried about the c-index. There was a time here on this site where the c-index was important, but due to the indiscretion of a few authors, that is no longer an accurate tool to measure an image by...I would rather look at views and dowloads & nice words like yours! :)) Thanks for stopping by & taking the time to leave a comment. Much appreciated.
Hi Jordon, thank you so much for your high regards upon viewing "Autumn Pink"! Very kind of you and I hope you stop by for another visit! Sincerely, Marilyn
Thank you for your comments on "Road to Nowhere" & "Columbia River Vista". I'm pleased you like them.
The aim of every artist is to arrest motion, which is life, by artificial means and hold it fixed so that a hundred years later, when a stranger looks at it, it moves again since it is life. Since man is mortal, the only immortality possible for him is to leave something behind him that is immortal since it will always move. This is the artist’s way of scribbling “Kilroy was here” on the wall of the final and irrevocable oblivion through which he must someday pass.

Weird but true: An armed robber attempted to hold up a packed gun shop. Minutes later, the hapless robber was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. The subsequent autopsy revealed 23 gunshot wounds and ballistics identified rounds from seven different weapons.
Hello Jordan, Yes Swansea was taken at um Swansea. Perhaps not the Swansea you’re familiar with though. This one is between Sydney and Newcastle in New South Wales, Australia. Thanks for your comment, I’m glad you like it.
Hello Jordan...thank you for stopping to view and comment on Anticipation...very glad you enjoyed it and I appreciate the high marks you have given it...seems like it's been awhile since you were here...welcome back.:Pat.
Hello Jordan, hope you will forgive me, but this message is pretty well canned and much the same for everyone who responded to my image “As The Seasons Change". I’m stuck in a very tight schedule at work and have been putting in as many as 35 hrs overtime each week for going on a month now. Even though this is a generic thank you, it doesn’t mean that I don’t appreciate each comment, it’s just that I have very limited time and not enough of it to respond individually. For all that asked particular questions, I will try to leave an answer at the end of this post. For those who left comments some time ago, please accept my apology for being so late in responding.
THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR CONTINUING SUPPORT OF MY IMAGES .IT MEANS THE WORLD TO ME.
Thank you for your nice comment on "November Skies" I stitched it using photoshop manually without any automation... though the program I've been preferring to use lately is ptassembler. It's been the program that I've found to do the best job. I hope u find this information helpful. The program is very flexible and very intricate so takes some time to figure out and get used to using but once learned it's a very valuable tool.
Thank you Jordan for your positive feedback on the "river". I am glad you liked it. Soon there will be a new shot in autumn colours. I strongly encourage you to visit my other photos if you like such landscapes. I hope you find something of interest. To tell you the truth I meant to make a panoramic shot, but unfortunately the second part was too dark.
