Welcome to Caedes dear Jackie. Thank you for your nice words on "reflections". Your attention to my image means a lot to me. I am glad you found it worth a visit. If you like plain air shots I would like to invite you to look at my gallery. Stay tuned.

I am so grateful for your generous comment on "sundown". It is good to know you liked it so much and were so kind to leave me a couple of very motivating lines. I hope you will be my guest any time.
hey ! jackie, i was lookin thru ur work, and i immmediately thought that you take some of the best photography shots.. dang theyre not boring... and dull ..they catch your eye..... so natrually it's beautiful.
Glad you discovered my first winter capture (snowpark) and found it appealing. Thank you for your nice comment. We have to be patient, this is only the beginning of the winter season
thank you so much for visiting my gallery and leaving such nice comments on "Fiery" and "Prisoner of Time", much appreciated and I'm glad you liked my images.
Have a great time and feel free to revisit my gallery...
Bernd
I am so glad I brought you a smile with my "I am blue" and "Octopus tree" captures. I took opportunity of the sunny day to take these two. I guess despite the simplicity of the sceneries they seem so impressive.
And: Yes "Octopus tree" has got you now and it won't let you go before the thaws... You will be its prisoner, lol. Unless someone will arrive with the chainsaw and will set you free...
Jackie, Thanks for checking out "mum's the word" and leaving such a nice message. I just visited your images. My favorite was "Pouty Face". I may be influenced by the fact that I too have a shih tzu (Cheyenne). Les
Hi Jackie, so very pleased to read your delightful words on "A Summer Look"! I appreciate your liking and commenting on the image especially on a rather grim, grey Sunday morning! Also, thank you for having reviewed my gallery and hope you revisit! It had been suggested that I remove the pole, but I thought it showed the reality of the scene! On the other hand, it could be construed to be distracting! Thank you again Jackie, I enjoyed your visit! Sincerely, Marilyn
Hey Jackie, Thanks for your comments on "islands." A visit to the San Juans certainly would not be a waste of your time. I believe there is over 1000 islands in the puget sound and the San Juan Islands to the north are by far the most scenic. I have been frequenting the San Juans for 19 years and it has never became old.
Thanks for your comments on "It's Snowing," much appreciated. Dreary it was and the one good day I had for that shot I mis-timed and got nothing but lens flares in the shots. One of these days...
Glad to hear from you my friend. Thank you so much for your warm words on "in the mountains" and "Beskid Sadecki Mountains". So glad you liked the outcome of my winter holiday, which was so abundant in eye pleasing views and breathtaking sceneries I tried to capture for my and yours delight. I hope you will be with me the next time I upload some fresh shots.
hi jackie.....i noticed that you live in utah so this kind of stuff is not unusual to you. for arizona our flowere, both wildflowers and cactus flowers were the best i've ever seen. they were everywhere. it rained heavily over this past weekend and i'm thinking that the wildflowers might reappear in a week or so. thanks for writing to
me. jen
hi jackie......we should travel together. we definitely like photographing the same
things. thanks for your comments. your gallery is filled with wonderful images,
jen
hi jackie.......the colors are really what's there. the sand is reddish and coarse and the rocks are dark lava rocks. i'm not sure when i took it or what kind of a lens i used. as i've said before, there's nothing (for me) like watching the ocean.
about the falls shot...i have really tried to get down low to photograph. one of these days i'll figure it out. i have lots of waterfall pictures. you'll be seeing them.
thanks for your comments. jen
Thanks for your kind words on "Flat-pack tree", Jackie - the sculptures certainly added something to a walk in the woods, and gave me all sorts of new photo opportunities :-)
I do agree with your comment on "Strange little girl", Jackie - I love the way caedes allows us to share sights we'd never know about otherwise. Big, dramatic scenes are easy to find on the web (although not often pictured as well as we get to see them!) but it's fascinating to see the less well-known stuff too :-) Thanks for stopping by!
thanks for the kind comments. i'm way behind in my subscription responses. we went out of town for the weekend only to take my mother to the hospital upon my return. your responses mean so much to me. jen
about approaching or being near a seal........you are definitely not supposed to. everynow and then when i'm dragging up some lonely beach i'll come across one. i hate to admit it but when no one is around they never know how close you were. thanks for liking it! jen
i'll be out of town for a couple of days. we're off to the snow. you won't hear from me until tuesday. don't write cause i won't get it and won't be able to write back. i always appreciate comments but not for the next 3 days thanks!
Thanks for looking at "Let me Sleep". I'm glad you like it! It was in the morning at the zoo and I was the first one there. I woke her up :P...Rise and shine, the day is starting!

Thanks for your comments on 'Rocky Beach,' much appreciated. Winter photography can be very challenging for many reasons and some of the most exciting and rewarding times of the year.
Hi jackie, thanks for commenting on this light. it's really a neat one. i'm hoping that someday they'll let people climb it. I appreciate your support. jen
Kia Ora Jackie, Your nice comments on Sea Spray and Gazanias are much appreciated.
It always seems to be the 'unintentional' ones that turn out best for me. I am sure that seagull laughed at me as it swooped out to sea :)
Hello there Jackie! Thanks so very very much for taking the time to look at and comment so nicely on "Burney Falls Rainbow"! It really means a lot to me. I'm just an amateur with a cheapo camera so it sure is a fun to catch a good one once in awhile!
Hello Jackie...thank you so much for what you wrote about "Pretty in Pink". ps...liked what you wrote under your project. I feel the same! Thanks again for your feedback, Dianna :^))
"What other reason could there be to get up in the morning except to set ourselves free."
If my comment on your work ever seems to criticise, it does not. It is always so that we may learn together.
Thanks Jackie for your comennts on 'castle', glad you liked it. Indeed a bit more light.. I think I was kind of asleep whole day yesterday.. or maybe too active to think clearly :D. About the castle, it was cool but there was something not so cool in there. I hope that this doesn't spoil your hypothetical trip but there was black cat buried somewhere in the walls. Very freaky.. unfortunately I can't remember why.. But if you ever go there try to learn some french because guided tour is in french.

Kia Ora Jackie, glad you liked my Daisy and thanks for commenting.
Those daisies are a pain in the garden - they are a metre high and very small flowers on top. I can't get rid of them :)
Thanks Jackie for your comments on both "Lion's Gaze" and "Sunshower at the Louvre". Am most impressed with your collection - you certainly have an eye for a photo.
cheers, Garth
Thank you for 'The Setting' Jackie, I will do my utmost for you, and go out into the wild world again to capture the perfect picture....only for you, though!
