Hey Marcie....just meeee....wanting to tell you how much I enjoy seeing your photos on here. Keep up the great work. I love it that some of your photos are taken on your cell phone and they are this good. Great stuff. Just me, Mom.

Helllllo Marcie! haha thanks for the comment on "I know your secrets!" you just made my entire day! it is a bit scary, which i usually dont do, but it was fun and rather easy. It's actually two photos... the hard thing about that is the lighting always seems to vary. then you blend them together. a great FREE program to use is GIMP. you can get a free download..just google GIMP. I use photoshop elements 7 but GIMP is nice to start with.

To see the comment from your MOM just above, makes me want to cry, after hearing the news of her passing. I am still in shock. She was one of my first friends on Caedes, and we corresponded by PM many many times. I loved her art work and photos, and I am going to miss her more than I can say. I am so sorry for your loss, Marcie. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I am very sorry to hear about your mother,it is very sad,it is unbelievable.We already sent a few PM's to eachother before,she had posted messages on a few of my photos before (two years ago or more),i had also posted messages on some of her photos before (more than two years ago),she added me to her friends list in the beggining of 2010 or it was last year,she was a nice person.

Your mother was a great friend to many on this site and was one of my first friends on here after I joined. I always looked forward to receiving a comment from her. She will be greatly missed on here by all who came into contact with her and I'm sure will be missed more than words can say by her family.

I'm sooo very sorry Marcie. We all loved your mother here.....she was special as you know first hand. I will miss her a lot. We shared many emails and laughs together.........she went through some rough times of late too but she always kept her chin up. I will remember her art, flowers and the beautiful Oregon coast that she loved and shared with us. I cant explain my sadness for you. I really really loved your mothers friendship here. She was a remarkable character and I loved to write with her. She always encouraged me (even in German language) to keep on with my work and I think without her I hadnt spend that much time here in Caedes). You can be proud of her, and I am sure she is very proud of you right now !

Marcie - Your mom's passing was a shock. As you see from the many posts from Caedes friends, she touched each of us in a way that was special. Her creative works were inspiring. Her numerous comments of support to so many on the site were greatly appreciated. On occasion, she'd share, via email, a powerpoint that had pictures and music she found inspiring. Please know that you and the extended family are in my thoughts and prayers. Thad

Thanks, Marcie. I also got a little story for you, maybe it will help with dealing with the pain you all must feel.

When I was little, I had this dog. She was a true friend, very understanding and caring (even let me cut it's whiskers one time. Second time, she thought it best to snap at me a little, so I'd realize to stop).
One time, my grandma took her to the cabin with her, to keep her company because my mom and I could not go. We used to let her roam free, because she was known by the neighbours and was very people-friendly.
Then, we got a call from my grandma, saying she'd been run over, and was gone.

I was totally heart-broken. That kind of grief I do not wish on anyone. I had that all-swallowing pain only for a few nights though, because one night I had a dream. In this dream, a family friend (an older man) appeared, sitting on a throne of some sort, and he had an air of peace about him. My dog was there, sitting at his side, with his hand on her head, petting her gently as he spoke. He told me not to feel sad, that she is now in a better place. With that my grief was gone and I woke up. After that morning I never felt so sad about that, only the normal feeling of missing someone close.

The jig here is that the family friend, the older guy, was not dead. Not yet. He died a few weeks later. To me, this is a sure sign that we will yet again meet our loved ones, but not yet.
