The box jelly fish is the most dangerous and can kill people...did you know 150 people are killed a year from falling coconuts. Yes I scare people more out of the ocean then Jaws.....smile. But I love the ocean too much to stay out of the water. Thanks for looking at my Jellies Karlyn!

Hello Karlyn....Thankyou for taking the time to view (GRACEFUL SWAN)and for your comments,it is very much appredciated...I had to wait a very long time to capture this shot and of course I planned for the light to come through the swan's wings which makes the picture a little more dramatic....Thankyou again...All the best to you Karlyn.....................................................Mick.

Thank you for your comment on my photo "Caged". God works his magic in many ways.....caged or not caged! We all live for a special reason! May God bless you with his reason for you also!
Hello Karlyn, and thanks much for your comment on 'Florida Gold.' Getting such positive feedback on a sunset photo by someone from Sunsetville is encouraging indeed! :-)
Tell me if you like it or don't but be sure to tell me why! I promise to always give honest and sincere (albeit gentle when necessary) critiques. MY NEW YEARS TIP for all, go have some fun with your new gear you got for Christmas. Do some things you rarely or never do. If you always shoot scenics, go shoot macros (or as close up as you can get.) Practice on different subjects, try new lighting techniques, bracket your shots (shoot the same image at different exposures and different apertures), get down low and shoot from your back, your belly, and your knees. Bend, twist, lean and climb up on things. Shoot toward the sky (carefully - blown out sunlight is NOT attractive :-) Just do something different and amaze yourself then share with us :-) Love you Caedians.
Hello Karlyn....Many thanks for taking the time to view (CASTLE IN CORNWALL)and for your comments, they are as you know very much appreciated...The castle and its grounds are only open to the public from January through to the end of May....The gardens at the rear of the castle are really beautiful and an enjoyable three hours was spent walking around taking it all in....Thankyou again....All the best to you Karlyn.................................................Mick.

Thank you for your comments on "Rural Church" I'm just glad I was able to stand in the bed of a pickup so that I wouldn't have wires obscuring the view!
Waterfall in the Springtime was taken from an overlook at the top of the gorge, glad they had a wood fence since you stood right at the edge of a cliff. I try to act like the steep drop doesn't bother me but it does a little. I got about 20 more of these. The waterfall does have a name I just have to look it up.
Enjoy the cool breeze Karlyn ...just don't get too near the edge please!
Your friend, Diane
Hello Karlyn.......Many thanks for your very kind comments on(THE WISE ONE)they are as you know very much appreciated...I did'nt have much time to photograph this guy, because shortly ater this shot was taken he was up and away...Thankyo again....All ther best to you Karlyn.....................Mick.
Hi Karlyn, thanks for your comments on "Hard Times". Glad you appreciated the humour. This was just another mediocre shot that needed something like the joke to make it worth posting. Have a great day and take care, ~Wendell
Thank you for your comment on "Busy Bee".
I do agree with your comment, but I had to sacrifice playing with the composition in order to bring the flower upfront to display the details, and emphasize that the bee itself is the supposed centre of attention in the work.
Check out the site "Between Truths", read, learn and pass on. The three steps is all you need to remember to get started. =)

Thanks Karlyn for taking a view of Smith Lake, Unicoi is one of Georgia’s most beloved state parks. They have a lodge, campgrounds, picnic tables, swimming area, water craft rentals, thank goodness none with motors. This photo was taken pre season so it was pretty empty.
Have a super duper weekend!
Diane
Hi Karlyn, thanks for faving and commenting on "Definitely not a Moth". You can never be too sure of these things, lol. Glad you enjoyed the photo. Have a great enjoyable day, ~Wendell
Hi Karlyn, thanks for commenting on "Cactus Flower". This is for real, no tomfoolery on this post. The only manipulation going on here was some cleanup work on the background. Glad you liked the photo. Have a rather lazy evening and an exciting day, ~Wendell
Hello Karlyn...Many thanks for your lovely comments on (AN EVENING RAINBOW)they are very much appreciated...I suppose you can say I was in the right place at the right time...I was actually out photographing some old mine buildings when the rainbow appeared....Thankyou again...All the very best to you Karlyn..............................................Mick.
Thank you for your glowing words and faving on "Last Golden Rays" Karlyn. I was there in February the sunset looks warm but I was frozen brrr..it cold standing out on the beach but the sunset was worth it Diane
Thanks Karlyn for commenting on "Royal Oak". Glad you enjoyed the scene. It was shot by chance around mid-day, made it hard to get a good sky in the photo. Have a great weekend. ~Wendell
I think the place may have gone overboard with Flowers Galore! Maybe they are trying to hide that ugly teal railing..thanks for smelling the flowers Karlyn!
Glad you dropped by for a visit at my Coco Plum Cabana Karlyn! Hope you had a fun time, the door is always open you are Welcome back anytime! I took this picture because I liked the color combination of the blue chairs and coco plum.
Hi Karlyn! glad you took the "Steep Climb" and didn't get carsick! the road runs right beneath many great mountains including the highest in the state (14,433 foot Mount Elbert), and rises well above the treeline into the stark Alpine tundra zone, while also passing lakes, rivers, steep-sided valleys, thick forests of fir and extensive aspen groves. Highway 82 is usually open for only six months of the year, from late May to late October, I appreciate your wonderful comment very much!
Hello Karilyn....Many thanks for taking thev time to view (A SCOTTISH CASTLE)and for your comments,it is very much appreciated....I wanted the scene to be sombre and mysterious,so I used my graduated neutral density filter to cut down the light and then used levels in PS...Thankyou again....All the very best to you Karilyn........Mick.
Hi Karlyn, everyone keeps asking if 329 is the moon so now I just say "329" really is my land claim on the moon. I was keeping it hush hush to get in early and grab up a premium location before the moon rush begins...thank you for your kind words!
Sapphire Point describes the color of the lake water perfectly and is the same spot as "Chipmunk Dance" from last year The chipmunks are still there but the hilltop covered in tall firs had all been cut down due to a beetle infestation. It is a chilly Alpine lake and too cold for swimming but great for sailing. I don't think they even allow motorboats only non motorized craft..Thank You for looking, liking it Karlyn. Blue is my favorite color I am sure you already guessed that
Hi Karlyn, thanks for your comments on "Half Baked". Glad you liked the scene. The last thing this place needs is more water actually. This is part of a tidal waterway and is covered by water for half the day. Have a wonderful weekend. ~Wendell
