Thank you for your kind comment and criticism on Inside the Blue. Both are well appreciated. The camera is a Canon A620. I love how the macro mode will focus right up until something hits the lens!
Hello Klas........Thankyou for taking the time to have a look at (HIGHLANDS) and for your comments...they are very much appreciated....I think you will enjoy the pictures I will be uploading in the coming weeks....Thanks...All the best....Mick.
hey Klas , Thanx for the visit and kind comment on Galaxy engine , coming from someone with a gallery such as yours , it is very much appreciated , cheers .
You did comment on Chrysalis before I pulled it to correct the spelling in the logo [ stupid me spelt Caedes wrong ] , also thanx for checking out Ruger aswell Klas .
Thanks for commenting my latest, "Waves Of Fallacy". Yeah.. I maybe know what you mean.. It's somehow a little different from what I have done before so I can't even myself say much about it :P First With the backround I wasn't very serious but then it looked cool and so the final piece ended up like that and I know it doesn't work very well with the wave. Actually the hardest part was to somehow blend the wave with a backround image.
Cheers for comments - keep eyes peeled, I've got LOADS of Iceland photos on they're way...if you wanted to go before, you'll be booking plane tickets by the time you've seen them all! It's such an amazing place, and is nothing short of exceptional if you're into your photography...
Thanks for all your support and all the kind comments that you have left on my latest images. Im glad that you liked and I hope that you enjoy the ones to come.
Thanks for commenting on my "Rainbow Clouds." I apprecaite the additional information. It actually was late in the afternoon and the think that amazed me was that you could only see it in the clouds.
Thanks for commenting "Symmetry" :) I like the colours too. The reason why I'm not satisfied is that after all it's not so amazing I thought it to be when I first came up with it. And also I wanted to make only subtle touches to the symmetric image but now everyone's just staring at the left corner ;) .....:S (and well there's a lot noise too and blaablaa etc...) And then that foolish talk about you not having talent. Never talk like that again! I always wonder how you make your images so cool and beautiful.
Hello Klas....Many thanks for taking the time to have a look at (GLEN) and for your comments, it is very much appreciated....Its nice to know that you enjoyed looking at this picture.....The weather up in the highlands of Scotland can change by the hour....Thanks again...All the best....Mick.

hi klas, thanks for stopping by and commenting on 'Crocheron Park, Part 4' I too love the colors of autumn, so look for them to be appearing in works of mine in the coming weeks :o)
rob
Thanks alot for commenting "sparkl" :) I was amazed when I looked at the camera screen because in reallife the flower was pure white and I certainly didn't expect that if the camera would do something "wrong" in the automated mode it would end up like that..
Hello there Klas! Thanks so much for stopping by and visiting ~defiant daisy~. That flower is still standing proud amid the ruble of the season. As always, your continued support is very deeply appreciated. Hope all is going well for you my friend ;=)
Hi again my friend! Thanks for stopping and taking time to comment on ~resting~. I was very fortunate to get this shot off. It was a restless day in the Butterfly House. I must have shot 250 images and maybe 1% of them are any good, Some days are good camera days and others are just plain lousy!! lol I am glad that you were able to enjoy this quiet butterfly with me. Thanks for hanging in there with me :=)
Thanks for looking at my images :)!!! i actually render them in 2048X1536, density 6000, filter radius of .2 and oversample of 1. This way they might be fuzzy, but at least they're smooth. AND it takes up less RAM (much much less). Then sharpen and resize. Maybe some gamma adjustments... Anyway, sorry, I'm rambling. have fun!
Hi Klas.
You know I'm very happy with my Dimage A2. But taking photos with the D70 is a real improvement due to the quality of the viewfinder and the quick of th AF system. I don't want to say that the A2 does'nt work well, but what you're seeing, in the D70's viewfinder, is what you'll find on the photo.
Thanks for leaving some comments on "The last leaves" :-)
But the result is ± the same (on the screen or on paper). The
Thanks for commenting :) I've had such a busy month (or two) that I haven't been able to post any works or comment or anything... I even missed the competition as I didn't have enough time :S
Thanks a lot for commenting "fly" :) I made it b&w just because I thought it looked maybe better without any colours. The background looked quite boring with colours but the fly itself is quite nice because of the reflections in it's wings. If I get more requests I will maybe post the one with colours or the version with only the fly coloured.. at least for some time.
Thank you again for your nice comment. The image itself isn't The Best of all images but I myself love the way it actually looks like a mysterious place. I have some similar works ready just waiting to be uploaded.
Heh.. I didn't think that anybody would actually try to read that stuff :P seriously, that must have been timeconsuming trying to find out what's there. Even I can't read it anymore. Maybe there's just some overallfeelings I have sometimes but anyways it was mostly just some random angst. First I made a version where I filled the whole page with text. THAT took time. Then I actually had some point in there and all but then I thought it looked better with just little text and then wrote that stuff there. Never mind it, or if you do it's just the feeling you get that is important and only has to deal with the image :D I always have some kind of a feeling or mood in my works. Usually depends on what I'm listening at the moment :P
:D I should have made all the text just gibberish. maybe. I've done the latest works very fast and now I will try to do something new. And I will certainly be sure to look carefully what I am writing when I have to include text :P Luckily I have still plenty of things in all of my works that even you havent seen. I'm sure of it ;P And I think it won't help trying to find anything new. I've made the task quite impossible ^^
Thanks for your comment on "ablaze". I appreciate it. That really was kind of an experiment or just playing around. It was ready in about 10 minutes. But then I used some time hiding stuff there :P I just liked the way the image has so much detail that even I don't know every little detail like I usually do. You know, some works become very boring for the author because of the knowledge of what is the and how is it done and also for looking at it for a long time.
don't you have any friends anymore or am I just the only one daring to comment back :P
This mail is a natural product. The slight variation in spelling and grammar enhance its individual character and beauty and in no way are tobe considered flaws or defects.
I am glad you have found the “November impressions II” worth a visit. I believe the gentle suns rays passing through the trees and leaves made the photo so attractive and of course our mysterious lady with a dog as she walks down they sun-dappled empty path on a hazy morning… I have only captured this magical moment. How nice you have decorated this photo with your gracious words, Klas!
Thank you Klas for the very kind and suportive in put on my two images struggle and extream thought. As usual more opinion his well recieved and respected.
And for your comment on "pulse".. It's more luck than timing.. Having no SLR/tripod/etc, all I can do is take hundreds of shots and hope to strike gold <_<
Thanks Klas for viewing and commenting on my Light Slashes image. I hung a LED hat light from the ceiling and placed the camera on the floor. I twisted the string and swung the light during a long exposure to create the streaks. The color was an overlay in photoshop. I'm glad you like it.

Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.

Thanks for commenting "the island". It's nice to be back. I've been quite busy and haven't had any good material to work on but now I have hundreds of photos to tweak. If I only have the time I'll post many more.
Phishy :D that was a good one. Imagination is something I don't have enough. And yes, the background is too harsh. I don't think it's blur that would do the trick. Blur would maybe just strenghten the visible contrast within the bacground or something. the problem is HOW I made the background. I could have used a little more time to it and it would have looked better.
Hey Klas Thanks for you comment on "My Home Land" the sun rays are cg but thats the only Cg part of it, the rest is 2 different photos Combined, Thanks for the nice comment :D
No no, your comments had nothing to do with it being removed in fact i was glad you liked it, i received a few comments from others, and there was some major things wrong with it, i don't understand how you missed them?? possibly the same way i did??
For instance in the left side there was a huge lump of...erm..land that was just there and because of my screen i couldent see it, so i brought it to my dads pc downstairs that uses a lcd monitor, and it was like a different pic, like as if the brightness was turned up another 100%, and it showed up a lot of things that on my pc i couldent see, and that lump of land was disgraceful, i was pretty annoys cus ii spent hours on it, but i re did it on my dads pc so hopefully its 10 times better that the original, i would up load it now but i have to wait 23-24Hrs (cant remember which) so hopefully i will upload it tomorrow, Thanks for commenting back. :D
wow that was quicker than i thought, yep i couldent get quite the same effect with this for some reason, like the reflections in the water of the trees. + i got some comments saying the other was was...ehh...really busy or something to that extent so i tuned it down a little, so thanks for the comment and help, Again Much Appreciated.
Hey Klas Thanks for you comment on
Ion Blue AlleyWay (Rw) Glory Engine.. Grey Woods Glad you liked them all, as for Grey Woods i was going for a silhouette type feel for the foreground trees hense the mad contrast, Comments are Much appreciated.
Thanks again

Thanks again for your support :) Glad you liked "Ominous times". Sometimes I feel the work needs something but I'm not sure what and I just end up adding stupid words here and there. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't...
Hey Klas :D
Thankyou for your wonderful comment on *Lilth*...I know, it's an awful shame that people can't be trusted anymore...the reason I needed the mark so big though was so there could be no nifty cropping ;]
Have a fab day, hon!
Hi Klas,
Thanks for your kind comment on "Walnuts Piled", I do appreciate that,
Actually it is a thin paper in the box,
I agree on making it calmer, I might want to try to lighten it a bit more,
Thanks for commenting "lazy" :) okey it's possible he/she is not lazy. it's hard to read that face. maybe his just thinking "lol this guy's just wasting his time running around with that stupid camera" :P
Btw I put some photos (old and new ones and few of the manips posted in caedes too) in: http://picasaweb.google.fi/janne.hovi
I have so much photo's I can't possibly upload all of them here. Of course I will still continue uploading my work, especially manips, here.
Thanks for your comment on "Drifting". I'm not sure if it's the DOF because everything that's blurry in the image is where the stream is passing on the leaf and behind the rocks.
Thanks again for commenting. Glad you liked "Hungry" :) I didn't use a tripod. the lens is very good and it was bright enough so I could use exposuretimes like 1/1000 second which is fast enough for any circumstances. I can't give the camera and lens to you 'cause they're my dad's :P I myself like the wings but it's a pity he did'n show his face. Too shy to be photographed.
Thanks for your comment on "Doubts". Appreciated as always. I know what you mean with that depth-thing. I'm quite familiar with playing with layers and photos. I'd like to learn the skill to create something cool with no ready photos in the usual designstyle. I'm still just trying out my skill in these designthings so the result lacks depth. I mean now those vectorgraphics and stuff you pointed out. There's also something with the finished image itself I don't like. It's that I couldn't give it that depth in meanings I usually have in my images. Not that anybody else than I could ever understand even half of the meaning as all little pieces have something in them but this time I was mostly just collecting interesting elements together and the added some ideas afterwards. Thanks for your comments. They're always helpful and appreciated.
Me again. Thanks for the comment on "Wings". Well I wasn't even close. I took that over two metres away. I just used my dad's zuiko 50-200mm lens (the same I used in "Hungry"). Don't worry, I just finished my next work which is a combination of manipulation and graphic design and layers and all that usual stuff.
Hello, Klas, thanks for your comments on "oh sunny day". Nice to see our paths cross, it hasn't happened that many times in the last few years. Patterns in nature would make a great photographic study. With your new macro lens, you could catalog many.
Reference: "Heaven's Gate". Oh rats, I say OH RATS, if I had only thought of using what you said in your comments, for a title...Knock, knock, Knocking On Heaven's Door...Oh well, thks for viewing and commenting. I really appreciate it.
Pat
Hi Klas, glad you liked my 'stormy waters' photo - this is a bit more dramatic than I usually post and I was unsure how it would be received! sooo thanks for the positive feedback! :) Patti

thanks for commenting "Frost" :) Caedes is a nice place to combine art with socialising but it seems it's one of the quiet seasons going on again. I mean about year or a half ago people here were very active but everything's stopped waiting for a next wave of inspiration and motivation :P
Heh, glad you liked "islands" :) The camera I used somehow doesn't work as well in reaaally bright conditions as normally. That's why most of my Thailandphotos need some tweaking :D
Hi Klas! So good to hear from you! Thanks for visiting ~berry nice~. I did try (after reading your comment) artificially 'darkening' the image in Photoshop and you were right, it does look better! I must have done 15-20 shots of this bud before I got one that turned out :) Whew, I was getting frustrated. I don't know why I was having such difficulty. Most of it was focusing issues...definitely not camera operator error! hehe
Alway glad to see you show up on my image. you help me tremendously with your honesty.
Have a good day! ;=)
Oh, the centering was my idea since I liked the color(nice contrast) of the leaves :o)
