Kevin, thanks for your supportive and constructive comment on my 'Lake of Veere 06'image. You're right about that touch of flare in the sky. Regards, Cornelius
Kevin
Obrigado por seu construtivo comentário, estou tentando fazer fotos legais e agradeço toda ajuda e critica.
Debtor for its constructive commentary, I am trying to make legal photos and I thank all aid and criticizes.
Hi Kevin, thx for comment on "Panoramic view of Ljubljana",you are right it is a little to dark and I did not correct it enouht, but clouds are so great. I will post some more panoramic pictures in next days. Andrej
Kevin, thanks for the comment on 'Burning Bush' and for the cue to the location. You've been an inspiration with those. Nymans Estate and Winkworth Arboretum are both on my list now too!!
Thanks to all my friends for the wonderful images I get to look at and learn from on Caedes every day. I always have something to say about them, but don't always have the time to record it. Please forgive me if I can't comment on all of your uploads.
....and thanks for the other comments you've left tonight on 'Grotto' (your comments are very generous), 'Tweety Pie' and 'Torpedo'. I had a bit of luck with that last one!

Hi Kevin, thanks for your comments on the "convergence". with a better camera, the picture would be crisper, without pixels in the foreground. And of course, I would have tried different exposures :-)

Hello Kev...Happy New Year to you....Many thanks for taking the time to have a look at (CORNISH COVE)and for your comments, they are very much appreciated....There are so many scenes like this in Cornwall to photograph....Thanks again....All the best....Mick.
I am very glad that you enjoyed your trip to my 'Snowfall'....many thanks for your comments....Yes I do agree with you...there is something special...something intriging about the 'first big snowfall'...
It stikes me with a fascinating... a feel of a clean freshness about one of nature's winning scenes....and makes me think of peace and tranquility that I enjoy tremendously....
Now of course...if one finds one's self on a high hill with a toboggan in hand...now that is still another story...come on Kevin....let's go.....Wheeeeeeeeee *sled hits bottom of hill*...whoops....did you get hurt?....teasing a bit here.....;o)
Thanks again Kevin...please stop again...your comments are deeply appreciated....
Hi Kevin, thanks for your comments. ....and in answer to your wondering, a well trodden pathway leads from the house in Tatton Park right up to 'the Cage' folly on the hill and many people are out walking up and down to see it across the open parkland! I was intrigued with the lady standing there looking back down the hill with her russian kind of hat on and big coat and she is obviously looking at me as I am taking photographs so I liked that she was looking inquisitively in my direction as well as the other people standing having conversations. You see many couples walking together too - it is quite a romantic setting I think, especially late afternoon with the low soon shining on the windows - it is like a beacon on the hill attracting people.

Hi Kevin! Thanks for the nice comment on my 'free-for-all' seagulls. Good observation... The gulls with pink feet are herring gulls, and the one with yellow is a ringbilled gull, similar but slightly smaller... Funny thing about seagulls, they like to bunk down together, but, not too close, thank you! They squabble endlessly about who gets the comfiest bed.

Hello Keving..and thank you ever so much for such a nice comment on my fog and fence photo. I'm so glad you enjoyed it. It means a lot to me to know when someone likes my creations...so thank you again..hugs of thanx to you..verena

Kevin, thank you for the comment on Fires of War. I renamed it to better suit the feeling of it. As for the old name, I had heard it somewhere it before and wanted to name something after it. I hope I didn't cause any confusion.

Thanks Kevin for your comment and support on "Burning Off".
Everyone seems to think it's quite eerie. Hope I didn't scare anyone. LOL.
Also thanks for the FAVED.
Much Appreciated.
Hi Kevin, thanks for the comments on 'golden tones of Winter'. I was in two minds as to whether to clone out the person or not, but decided to save his life in the end! lol! I quite liked the reflection of him/her in the lake. I agree about cropping the bottom slightly and I should have seen that because it it a little bit untidy under the golden grass which is very pretty and would have improved the foreground slightly. Thanks for your honest opinion. Patti :)

Hi Kevin, thanks for your comments and yes there was some photoshop tweaking, but not much in this one (Winter warmer). I have just increased the saturation and sharpened it. :)
ps there was a lot more tweaking in the 'lazy Sunday afternoon' lol - I think I used the burn, dodge, sponge, sharpen, saturation and clone tool in that one! :)

Hi Kevin! Thanks for all your neat comments on all my pics! On the one called 'the footbridge' you mentioned that you'd like to see a photo taken from further on the left... So would I, lol! I was hugging the bank like that because the solid ground ended there and the low tide marsh muck took over... there's noooo way I'm going out where it's slick after fracturing my arm the last time I ventured too far, lol again, I think... ;-)))

thank you for your comment on A Dark Day in King Arthur's Court, and for your feedback. I have only recently begun uploading photos to the internet and I was unsure about text sizes, I will definitely take your advise. thanks again!!
Thanks Kevin for taking the time to comment on "Inspiration". I really appreciate the advice. Anything to improve! I actually did sharpen the image, but changed my mind and left it as the original. I did hesitate before posting! Ha! Thanks again! Kalyn
Thanks alot for the coments you left at my post "Reflections of Green" I have some image inhancing software and i was trying to take care of the sun stuff but it just wasnt working for me. I am still trying to learn how to use it properly. So in time. Thanks again.

Hello Kevin and thank you so very much for the lovely comment on my Dogwood photo. It means so much when someone enjoys one of my postings and then says so...it's very nice of you..and am so glad you enjoyed that pretty flower. Verena
Hi Kevin, and thanks again for the help and comments on the TEST VALLEY 2. Your advice on this one is most helpful, as I hope to upgrading to a newer PS Elements, as I only have version 2 at the moment. Thanks again.
Many thanks Kevin for your kind comment on "Art"! Fiesa is indeed a fabulous exhibition; if you happen to be in southern Portugal, make sure you visit the place. Interestingly, there are some sand statues of the Chinese "Terra Cotta" soldiers, too! I may post a pic I took from them in near future.
Thanks a lot for your comment and your time. You have many suggestions and it's worth thinking about them. I must say, you have a good eye or concentration, I didn't notice the plastic thing in the water. And, it's only a lake. I was happy that I was there along the water, sitting, enjoying and taking pictures, so I didn't pay attention to the "ornaments" in the lake. :)))) Thanks again.

Thanks for commenting on "Buttes point". I was using a filter that day - polarizing. I almost always use the polarized filter unless lighting is minimal (except for waterfalls). Again thank you for you comments!!! :)

Hey Kevin, great to hear from you on 'Pat and Percival' - you're right I took my life in my hands naming it after Momma Andre! And LOL @ Fountains Abbey too. I think I'll hide out there for a while until the coast's clear.
Hi Kevin ... Many thanks for your kind words on "Searching ...". I love making images of waterbirds (especially egrets), but they can be somewhat of a challenge. Glad you enjoyed it. Sherree

None of the ideas expressed above are actually mine. They are told to me by Luthor and Ferdinand, the five inch tall space aliens who live under my desk. In return for these ideas, I have given them permission to eat any dust bunnies they may find under there.
Hi Kevin,
Thank you for the very kind words on "Moss-covered Roots", greatly appreciated! Thank´s also for the advice about sharpening it a tad more, I appreciate it!
Thanks Very much Keven, I really appreciate your nice comments on "Lilly". Especially coming from someone with such a magnificant gallary as you have!!
Thanks for taking the time to comment on "Still Closed..." we were actually aiming for an ugly-beautiful concept, with the pole representing the "ugly" & the quaint little fish market & town as the "beautiful"... I guess we should have conceptualized it better :) I really appreciate all your input & will put it to use.
Thank you, Kevin, for taking the time to comment on "Grandpapas". I am a new "kid" on the block and your kind yet proficient advice is much appreciated.

Hi Kevin, Thanks for your humble opinion on "Noorderhaven", highly appreciated. But I want as little as possible with a photo to manipulate it better, leaves in the water belong to the autumn and those signs ... well ... they were there ;-) Nobody is perfect ;-))
Hi Kevin thankyou so much for stopping by and taking time to give me such constructive feedback on 'Horsey Windpump'. I never knew why that strange green colour appeared and i will certainly try changing the iso to adapt to duller conditions in the future. Much appreciated! Have a good weekend Rach

Hello Kevin. Thanks you for your comments on 'Kaboom', With this shot I would have liked to get closser to the barrel and isolate it, but there were reastriction for safety reasons. I was trying out a borrowed Canon 70-200mm zoom,, which is a fabulous lens but short. Better framing wold have made a better pivyure, there was a man just right to the picture hiding the back of the canon. Cheers

Thanks Kevin for the comments on "Guess Who's Coming for Dinner" much appreciated. I always crop and staighten as needed. It's somewhat an optical illusion as the cone shaped building actually does tilt quite a bit.

Thanks Kevin for the comments on "Red Sky" much appreciated. I must point out that HDR can be very unpredictable about bright colored objects. If you try to tone them down you lose something else, it's a matter of the lesser of two evils. HDR keeps improving but is by no means perfected.

Hey some more Kevin, thanks for the comments on "Still Sulking" much appreciated. I didn't use Photoshop but I do use a portrait retouching program. Once you see the difference (even subtle) you will never again shoot a portrait without using it. If you want a pro look rather than a snap shot it's a must.
