Hello, I would like to offer you a warm WELCOME to Caedes and I hope you enjoy your stay here! You will meet many nice people on this site, so have fun! Many thanks to you for viewing "My Rose of Hope"! It has a sad connotation to it but is also pretty! I felt such profound sorrow for the coastal victims during Katrina, I just felt I wanted to acknowledge it in some small way! Thank you for your visit and I hope you have a lot of fun here! I would love to know your name though, please! I hope you don't mind my asking! It is just more fun when you can attach a name to a comment! Thanks! Sincerely, Marilyn
Good morning Ruby :)
So glad you enjoyed viewing "Camera Shy". These birds are so beautiful it was an honor to be able to take a photo of it. They're so regal looking and these were so tame as were the other wildlife they have at Swan Lake. Thanks again- Eileen
Thanks Ruby- glad you liked "Funky Flower" and the line is there to distinguish between the changing colors but the design stays the same. Thanks for viewing- Eileen
"Touche' " to you too Ruby- LOL. Glad you liked it . They were so funny these 2 little things going at it like they were goliaths. - Eileen
Thanks also for "Unrequited Love?" - Such an odd couple weren't they?
Hi ladyred...welcome to caedes and nice to meet another fellow Ontarian...thank you for visiting Relatively Shy and Dreaming of Faraway Places...I enjoyed your perception of their poses and felt much the same way...many thanks for stopping by.:Pat.
Hello, and many thanks to you for viewing "Winter Salad"! I so appreciate your thoughts and comments! By the way, is your name Ruby? I saw it written above, and love to use a person's name when addressing a comment! It is fun to be able to attach a name to a lovely comment made in your interest! Thanks again, and I hope very much that you are having fun on this site, as I expressed previously! Thanks again my dear, and I will look forward to your next visit and promise to enjoy your gallery very soon! Sincerely, Marilyn
Hi Ruby..
And a belated.. WELCOME 2 CAEDES to you. I've taken a quick tour through your gallery, and i really like it. NIce captures you have there.. well done.. and keep it coming!
Hi Ruby.. thanx for the comment on the Geese on Gin Creek. Much appreciated.
I use PhotoFilter for that kinda frame. First i've put the "line" and then I've added the "fog" on the outside. If you don't have Photofilter, try and download it, it's easy to use, and does wonders for your work.. I mostly use it.. and then also sometimes, Photoshop.
Hey there -- Thanks for commenting on the family affair. it's great to watch these little guys grow up. I'm in the park a few times a week and marvel at how they have grown and learned from their parents. Enjoyed the nice photos in your gallery also. Drop by anytime. Wm.
Thanks for your kind words regarding Ecotopia, they were much appreciated. Glad you liked it. I wish I had one of those 360 degree cameras to adequately represent that region. It really is an incredible spot with some amazing sounds and sites.
-Gregory
Hi Ruby, thank you for your nice comments on Name Your Poison...I don't know my botany but, I believe the plant is some variety of poison ivy, at least that's what someone told me last year when I ran into this stuff...anyhow, I appreciate your visit and favorable review.:Pat
It's really refreshing to hear such a compliment on my "I Am The Way" photo from the creator of "Morning Fog At Low Tide". The photo was the result of that photo shoot and another one, from which I chose the best. The scene just had attitude, even if it wasn't MY attitude. Thanks for taking the time to visit and critique it.
I told you so Ruby- Just give it a few minutes and it will appear LOL. I really appreciate your comment at " Browns Ferry Bridge". The photo does not do this place justice at all.- Eileen
Hi Ruby, many thanks to you for viewing "The Charming Iris"! I always appreciate your thoughts and comments! I will look forward to your next visit with pleasure! I so am honored by your continued support and interest in my work! You leave happy words behind! Hope you enjoy the evening! Sincerely, Marilyn

Hi, thank you for viewing my posting and commenting on it. You being from Belleville & I being from Windsor it is like we are next door to each other seeing that this website is world wide. Good to hear from you.
You sure do have a classy new avatar Ruby.I like it very much. Thanks for stopping by to get a piece of cake at "Have A Slice". At least this way we don't have to count calories do we LOL. Thanks again Ruby- Eileen
thanks for your comments on "Just Finishing Breakfast". I think what the cheetah wanted was a little desert - photographer flavour was right at the top of her list! - Cheers, Kim
Thanks Ruby, for your understanding of the image Shame...I am so glad you did as I know some did not approve...it was one of 4 my daughter did in high school as part of an assignment on the suffering and exploitation of children...the others were on hunger and poverty, physical abuse, and how some countries use children in war by arming them with guns...my daughter is a mature and compassionate girl, aware of what happens to some children in the world...I chose to upload this particular one as it was the only one that turned out reasonably well photography wise and thought it was the best of the 4 in portraying emotions...I still haven't succeeded in getting a good photo off a painting without glare and color loss...anyhow, thanks for looking and commenting.:Pat.
Thanks for the good comment on "Boathouse". I had make this photograph, however, with this frame. Because I had made the photograph in the length. Instead of the breadth.
Wil
Hi there, and thanks for your kind comment on "Spring blossoms again". They're quite common flowers here, but you need to look really closely to see this amount of detail - each flower is only a cm or so across... :-)
Thank you Ruby for commenting at "Trying To Make Ends Meet". It still hurts to pass by there and not see him.He drove an old pickup and I think most of the vegetables he sold were what he grew himself. I also think it did him good to be able to talk with people who would stop as he lived alone. - Eileen
Hi Ruby... how are you? Thanks for comment on " Hanna " ... she is a sweety... in future will post picture of Jessica, my black cat... i took her in as she was a stray six years ago.. sometimes i think maybe i should have named her Queen because she is living like a queen compared to her life as a stray :) ... gerry...
Thanks Ruby for your nice comments on Mystic Wind. I give credit to a fellow Caedes person for the title. All the ones i thought of just didn't fit. Thanks again....Bill
Hi Ruby -- enjoyed your comment on shades of color. just getting into the frame stuff. Hit these colors by accident....lol.. It does work well ...thanks again...Bill
Good morning Ruby- Glad you stopped by and left a comment at "Backyard Meadow". This really is a pretty place and always has some type of wildflowers growing .- Eileen
Hi Ruby, Thanks for comment on Catching Some Rays. You asked if that is two turtles. No it is only one..what you see is reflection in water of the one turtle...glad you liked it...gerry...
Hi Ruby, here to thank you for your visit and nice comments on Green Day...it didn't seem as sharp to me as it should have been but otherwise I am happy you liked it and appreciate your favorable review.:Pat.
Dear Ruby,
Re 'forest road' - you simply fail to realise the danger that was so close !!!
Boris + Fred = 80 kg plus momentum = ca 2 tons of muscles and hard bones topped with HARD heads !!! LOL When running wild such combination is deadly LOL
Thanks for visiting, dear friend.
Hi Ruby, many thanks for looking at Ghost Rider...very happy you liked it though I feel it needs some work...maybe abit darker and something else added to make it more interesting and ghostly but I do appreciate your visit and nice comments.:Pat

Hello Ruby, Gosh, you were quick off the mark! Thanks very much for commenting on the presentation of 'Crazy-Paving...' and I'm glad it caught your eye. The deep purple flowers are a lovely contrast to the yellow steps, aren't they?
