Hi Tracie, thanx for commenting on 'fire - flies' i'm glad that u enjoy the pic. i like ur work too. some stunning close ups u hav. :) i'll be back another time to comment as i've been on caedes too long : ) thanx again
Tracie, yes I do love flowers. They are God's way of telling us that he can do so many more things than we can. Such as combining blue, yellow, green and burgundy and making it look good. If we tried that we wouldn't have many friends. andrew
I notice that you live in Austin. I was there last weekend and got some photos in the Dripping Springs area. Do you have any mission photos? I remember from my ten years in Austin that there are some very photogenic missions around San Antonio. Also if you could ever find it without a crowd of U.T. students - Hamilton Pool is beautiful. Anyway, I like your work.
Hello Tracie! Thanks for viewing and commenting on my beach image. I have several more to upload in the future but I'll space them out to have some variety. I'm glad that you like my Mexico Beach 3 photo.

Tracie, thank you for checking out "Jellyfish I". I appreciate the kind words and am going to try my hand at your suggestion. If it works out, I'll post the second rework as well.
I'm glad you like the pictures :) All of the pictures of the buildings (the ones that actually look clear) were taken with my new camera, which is actually not that high tech at all. It's a Pentax Optio 550. It's compact (about the size of my old Elph), has a nice zoom, and a good resolution, and it was pretty cheap.
Hi Tracie, thank you so much for your kind and complementary words!! They are much appreciated!! The colors are not a usual combo, but I like to put what ever appeals to me and just have fun with it! Sincerely, Marilyn
Hey, I guess you like flowers? Me too, especially roses!
You have a fabulous gallery and I really like you "Calla Lily"...which is my desktop at the mo :P
Keep up the fab photography,

Hello Tracie,
Am I glad you're a bit "odd" as you put it!
Very nice of you to comment on I see the light in black and white.
You are right, I really love the B/W shots although I do not post many of them. Indeed they are not so popular. But I do have te opninion that all attention in a b/w photo is drawn to the composition, which must be good in order to succeed.
Anyway, it does help if people like you comment on those shots, it gives me reason to continue to do so every once in a while.

Its me again! Thx a lot for the nice comment on Under the Wing, I'm glad you appreciated it. And you are so very welcome to become a fractl fan!! This is such a fascinating art!:0))!
Thank you for your sweet comment about my froggie...Austin eh? never been there, but sure wanna visit one day. I lived in Louisiana a long time, and in Grapevine, Tx for a bit too..thank you again...
Stir Fry Starter Kit was just the starting items for my stir fry. I added garlic, sugar peas, broccoli, bean sprouts, water chestnuts, baby corn, shrimp, chicken and a stir fry sauce. The original ingredients were just too pretty not to use for a still life. I'm glad you like it and I'd be glad to share with anyone that comes this way. Thanks for the nice comments Tracie. I appreciate your support of this image.

Good morning Tracie
I very much enjoyed reading your comments on "Happy rock, Almaden". Thank you. A turtle? Well, looking at it again, that is very possible :) But in a dry and dusty place. This is beside a dirt road, and the layer of colour on the top is dust. I had just time to snap this frame and dive back into the car before a big road train raced past and lathered another layer of dust over everything. One day soon, I may even wash the car <grinning>.
Enjoy your day
