Hi there, Looks like I'm the first to post in your user gallery.. Thanks so very much for the kind comments on "Seronera Sunset". I appreciate you taking the time to look at and comment on my photo.
I'm really into goth rock and new wave. My favorite band is The Birthday Massacre. The guy in my avatar is, in fact, a guy. His name is Mana from the band Malice Mizer.
Hi, thank you so much for stopping by to view "Picturesque"! You left happy words on my doorstep to read! I appreciate them very much! I wish I could stand on a thirty ft. ladder when taking these photos! LOL! Sincerely, Marilyn
Living Waters is another test of merging 3 photos of different exposures into Photomatrix to enhance the tonal range. This software added vibrance to a bland image with good results. Thanks for your nice comments lchobson.

Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.

I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is.

Thanks for the comments on Il Duomo de Orvieto. I too had visited this cathedral once before, and I was determined to return. I'm glad my photo pleased you.
Several of my photos are available for purchase in larger format at Shutterpoint, and some are also available in high quality framed prints at http://djholmes.imagekind.com/
Hi there, and many thanks for your nice words on my pic, "shades of fog," Cape Cod. I've had my eye on that row of maple trees for a while, and they seemed lik a natural for what I wanted in a fog picture, which is exactly what you picked up on :-)))

Hey...thanks so much for your kind comments on "Hiding in Plain Site". There were actually a few bubbles on top of the water in a couple spots that I took out to give the feeling that they were out of the water. I'm glad you had a look and like it!!
Thank you for your comment on "A Touch of Blue". I'm just beginning at photography and the reason I joined Caedes was to learn, and so any advice is appreciated. As an afterthought, I wish I had done it a little differently.
