Hi Lisa,
Thks so much for visiting my Poodle Spider. I called him/her that because of the poodle like tufts on his legs. Yes, he is STILL missed. When ever I go out on the porch and look to the right where he had built his or maybe it was a her, web, I think of this little creature.
I think an even better shot of Poodle Spider is "Poodle Spider's House". Look that one up in my gallery. Fantastic if I say so myself. Thks again for stopping by.

Beauty Of The Earth Lisa, is what gets me out early in the morning, when you can be alone with nature and your thoughts. It's the most peaceful time of day when everything is still moving slowly, there's a fog in the valley, the sun is comming up through to trees and it gives me some of the greatest sights i have ever seen. Sometimes the image turns out ok, but it's never as good, as looking at the real thing. Have a wonderful weekend. Dwight.

thanks for your recent nice comments about a couple of my photos and I think you're correct Darklight has more drama than Sunburst, the closer focus ensures that, but I liked the colour in Sunburst more. Pity I couldn't get the qualities of both in the one. (Perfectionist here, never happy.)

G'day again Lisa,
glad you liked the Bullion Tree, the 3d quality I think is partially a result of the angle of the photo, compressing about thirty feet of space into a flat plane but keeping all the layers visible and interacting, I also bump mapped the tree and merged that layer (inverted) back with the original, that had some effect that I can't pin down but I think definitely added to the subject. Thanks for commenting.
Peace,
Mikel.

Hi Lisa...on my "Might Little Oak", yes, you're right. It was taken in the afternoon at about 3:00, and as the sun is starting to fade down to the south and is setting earlier and earlier, it's giving me some very magical light to work with!!

Thanks for your encouraging comments, always!! :)PJ

G'day Lisa,
That's the only frosty one I've got, the other three spring plant photos are much less dramatic, sorry. :(
