Thanks for stopping and commenting on some of my photos. :D
i use a Canon eos 300D, the 18-55mm kit lens, a sigma 70-300mm.
also an ancient 44mmf/2 lens, and sometimes a bellows unit, via an adapter.
:)
Hey there :D
Thanks for the lovely message you left me on my profile page!
Nice to meet you too...and I'm very flattered you like my...erm...well, I suppose you could call it a gallery ;]...
sometimes my weirdness is too tempting to avoid when making desktops :D
Have a great day,
Best wishes!
Thank you for your comment on Rocks - my one and only image! I look forward to seeing more shots from you with your new camera. I really liked the explorer one. cheers, Quiet
Thanks for commenting on Firefly by Daylight. DOF is a wonderful thing when you have a tripod and stationary subject. Hand held in the shade I take what I can get. Thanks again.
Thanks you for your comment on (Know time to stand and stare.) The lens came on the camera i bought, it's a Fuji Finepix S7000 the lens a super EBC Fujinon 6 X zoom lens F2.8-3,1, Equivalent to 35- 210mm on a 35mm camera. This tree is right next to my house and window, so i set up my camera and just waited on him to show up and when he did he just sat and looked at me. Shot this through double pane glass, it turned out a lot better than i thought it would. Thanks again. Dwight.

Hey thanks again, for looking at (Evil Intent) and your comment. Same Camera, shot it in super marco of course. I go out early in the morning when the dew is heavy these show up real good when they get dew on them. I gave it a little touch of blue tint in my edit program, i though this made it look pretty cool. Thanks again, have a great day. Dwight.

Thanks for stopping at "Red Admiral". i do like the 18-55's Dof, but this photo was actually taken with my sigma 70-300, which does a 1:2 macro. i think my next lens will be a sigma105mm macro. I have thought about displaying my photos in a gallery. ;D
you should, i got some accepted recently. also, do you have any ideas for the sigma lens as far as camera shake? i got one about a week ago and even on the tripod the slightest touch will make it shake. i have to take really fast pictures or else they will blur. do you have any pointers, or do you just take faster pictures?

Hi little ufo ! Thanks alot for your nice words on Safeguarded Harvest, the red hay barn. I´m very glad you liked that one, beacause it´s one of my favourite images. I like the colors and the symmetry and it is hard to stop looking at it..lol. Welcome back ! -- Arne --
Hi again. The Parthenos Butterfly image is very much of a composition of shapes, textures and colors...like many of my images. I´m glad you liked that. Thanks for commenting !

Hi littleufo - many thanks for the kind comments on a selection of my images. You give me too much credit! Many of them are just point and shoot (a few times) and hope it comes out OK.
Thanks again :)

Hello, Thank you for your comments about “Polygala”. The flower was about 2 ½ centimetres long. I like the expression you used “holding sunlight”, I never heard it said that way before.
okay honestly this is ridiculous, i tried to edit a picture in my gallery because it was typed wrong, and when i tried it said 'Error, this picture doesn't exist!' it's happened to me like three times! what's up with caedes!?
It's a pity your pictures are getting deleted before I get to look at them! =( I love the pictures that are left over though, hope to see more =) I looked at your site, lovely photos, that caterpiller is a cutie lol
