Thanks for your appreciation of Coming Home! I remember it was a beautiful winter morning sunrise when we landed in Edinburgh, so I took quite a few from the plane!
Good luck with all your new ventures!
Kate
"I know I can never match your talents with photography, but I had fun with Autumn Checked Out - the thorn/teardrop just appeared . . . which is what keeps this experimenting interesting! :-)"
Lin! Don't even think such a thing! I can never see me experimenting with fractals!!! I'm just a boring old ****! Even my conservative hubby experiments with PhotoShop etc - me? I just take 'em and reduce them to the right size!
You keep on experimenting! My thoughts on the autumn colours were 'picky' 'cos you are getting so good at it!
Hello Lin...Many thanks for your comments on (CLIFFS) they are very much appreciated....The picture was taken in a place called Porthtowan not far from me....I go there on a regular basis because its such a lovely place to go for walks...Thanks again....All the best...Mick.

Hello Lin, so nice of you to take time to leave comments at "a beautiful sunny day in winter". I find that particular waterfall a pleasure to photograph regardless of the season. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Hi Lin. Thanks for your nice comment on "Sipsey River 1". I just love water scenics. They are a pleasure for me to just look at for long periods of time. I just loved this nature trail along this what they called a river but looked more like a creek to me.
Thank you Lin for those wonderful comments on "Fractal Dance". I don't know why I like the eerie sort of thing because basically I'm real cheery. I guess I like to break character from time to time. I appreciate you looking at my picture.
Don't tell me it's good, tell me what is good about it. Don't tell me it stinks, tell me what I can do do improve it. Thank you for taking the time to tell me anything at all. Be blessed. anne :-)

Hi Lin!
Yes, I was quite pleased it was dark when I took the picture of the Herring Girl. It seems to put her centre-stage against the night! Worth the funny looks at the bus stop!!

Thanks Lin for viewing and commenting on my Sunset Watchers image. These birds lined the shore along Highway 60 crossing the Northern part of Tampa Bay. I found a place to stop and get this handheld photo. They all seemed to be watching the sunset. I'm glad you had a chance to view it.

Thanks Lin for your kind words on my colourful concrete! I did enjoy doing that one - and acrylics are so instant - no waiting for oils to dry! The original hangs up in the interview room at work, so I guess I'll just have to leave it there when I retire!
Thanks again!
Kate
Hi Lin, I am glad you enjoyed my photograph "still waters run deep" - it was a photograph of the view of Wolfgangsee in Austria - such a beautiful lake. Patti
