My High Falls Sunrise 2 image was taken downstream from the falls at High Fall, Ga. There is a crane fishing on the left bank. Thank you Joe for taking the time to view and comment on it. Welcome to caedes.

Hello Joe, Nice to meet you. Sorry about the right side of the "Detroit River" but it was all water. lol The river there is quite wide at that point. Straight out is Lake St. Clair. I was interested in getting the ice in the forground.
Joe, thanks so much for your wonderful encouragement on 'Torpedo'. Yes, I do get up for work every day! But as much as I can, I get out there taking photos. They don't always work but I'm working hard to improve and comments like yours really bolster my determination to carry on. Thanks so much.
Hi Joe, thanks for your comments and yes I used photoshop to frame my photograph.... but having said that all I did was add a canvas background slightly bigger than the picture in the yellow colour, then increase the size of the canvas again to 1600x1200 in dark brown, placing the image on the right and then added the title! ....just playing around until it looks how I want it to. You can do this in many other programs, including Photofiltre which you can download free.

Hey Joe...thanks so much for your comments on "Hiding in Plain Site"...I'm glad you noticed the red, because I specifically brought that color out on the fins of each fish. I also took out a few bubbles that were on top of the water to make it look like they weren't even in water. Thanks for having a look!!
Hello Joe, Thank you for the real kind comment on "Home Is Where the Heart Is" For the framing i did slight bordering and then used the canvas option to get this result. Thanks again.

Thanks for the comment on "String Quartet". The fuzzy white line in the background is actually an old music stand that I neglected to remove before and lack the skill to remove after I took the shot.
Thank´s Joe for the nice words about "Envisagement"and for the wellcome, I really appreciate it. When I get my new PS I will start post photos again :-)
Thanks Joe, for commenting on "Clear, Calm and Icy" like the snow Hmm not sure about that. If I could just sit back and enjoy it that would be ok but I don't like driving in it and it's hard to pull over to get some of those shots.

Thanks , Joe, for commenting on "New Brighton En Fête". It does look good in the sunshine. We don't normally get great weather in February but we've been under High Pressure for well over a week now and the weather has been glorious. Blue skies and relatively warm weather in the day and clear and frosty at night.
