Photography is not a trade - it is an art. It is more that an art.

Hi. Thanks for your comments on Boiling Sea. I captured the moment I wanted, but I wished I'd used a faster shutter speed in order to stop the water motion better.
Sky of Contrast.... Impending doom indeed! Thanks for the smile your comment gave me. I'm happy to report that doom and disaster passed us by and left nothing but a few snow flurries. ;-)
I thank you very much for visiting and commenting my"Yin-Yang"..much appreciated! ...( I am fascinated by this Chinese concept)...Have a great day!! ..:) Adriana

Thanks very much for your kind appreciation of my Liquid Silver Sand picture, which I took at the beach today. My husband reckons its because I am little that I always notice the small things at my feet! LOL The sand and seashore is a fascinating place for me - always changing patterns! Kate
Thank you for visiting "Marine-a-Go-Go" and voicing your thoughts. It's a rare quality to be able to take a stand behind your opinions, and I bow to you for that.

I would further ask, what is it about the image that makes it "inappropraite" for Caedes?

I guess you are in a grumpy mood. If I'm not pleased with a post I just ignore it even when asked for a comment. You went out of your way to stomp all over me. It was a lark and an obvious cut/paste. That was part of the point. I'm not asking for false admiration, but that was just cruel (I know I didn't I identify the work, but you in your great wisdom can figure that out). You must have a low self esteem to feel the need to slam someone else to make your self feel good. And you aren't the Caedes police. If it wasn't appropriate then the head honchos shouldn't have posted it. So physician heal thyself.

Hello,
Thank for your good response to my picture "Forth railway bridge". I
have not been or concerning the railway bridge. But we have just as
further driven on the carbridge with our mopeds. And high that that is.
Also that a complete perception was.

Thanks for your comments on "Sunrise Over The Caribbean." I woke up that morning to go scuba diving at 8.00. Opening the window and seeing that made the scuba diving worthwhile even before going haha :)
hello there, this place is actually very much in the middle of concrete settlements, freeways et al... however away from the pollution ;-)... thanks for dropping by the "On a lazy sunday afternoon" image of mine.... your comments are most appreciated! :) thanks!
Hello Mapbc. Thanks for commenting on "Run A Spider". I probably wont do that again but I am all for trying new techniques at least once. I was traveling at just under the sound barrier about 40 mph. :) Just hold your camera to the side, set for auto, and shoot away.

thanks for the post on the Best of British shot - yes - I wasn't sure about the birds either but I decided to leave them in anyways. ultimately it's not a 'real' shot so I figured a bit of artistic license was allowable.

Thank you for your comments on Trick or Treat. I have been on this site for six months and decided to finally upload something. I am neither master of my Canon 20D nor Photoshop yet, but practice when I can and hope to someday upload photos that are worthy of sitting on someone’s desktop besides my own!
Hoi, mapbc !
I see your a member of 'caedes' from the early beginnning
of this site, and only three uploads!?
Thanks for comment on "Air force"
Much appreciated!

Thanks you for your comment and advice on "Paradise Found", I thought about cropping out the tent but I think it gives a good scale reference. Also, if you look at my gallery, there are a few other shots of the valley scenery alone :)
Howdy from Arizona! Thanks for taking a look at "Red Cap Cardinal" - they are originally from South America (Brazil?) but this one is on Oahu. Many other kinds of birds in my gallery ... glad you liked it!
Thank you for your comment on Star Bright. I was visiting my son at 7pm and the only control I had was wether to take the shot or not. I couldn't control the lighting. I appreciate your comment. Terry

Thanks for taking the time to view and comment on, "Should I Or Shouldn't I". I took the photo in 1991 with a crappy 35mm camera. I scanned and photoshopped the best I could. If think this bad, you should have seen it before.
Hello....Many thanks for taking the time to have a look at (SOLITARY TREE)and for your comments, they are very much appreciated....Came across this scene by chance...I had to park the car up because the farmer was herding some cows into the field opposite this scene...Thanks again.
Thank you for commenting on "Some-Thing" It´s very much appreciated. I think you might be right. There used to be some level-crossing barriers at this place, i don´t know if it´s got something to do with that.
Thanks for the comments on Misty Valley. I wondered about that mistiness - that's a great suggestion about trying for a different time of day. Don't know if I could brave that patha again, though...
