If you have it, a truck brought it.Without trucks, America stops....Think about it.. So Please give those captains of their concrete sea due respect.. Drive Safe and Buckle Up..=D
Hi cfr, nice to meet you and let me offer a belated welcome to caedes...hope you're having lotsa' fun here...also want to thank you for your visit and detailed opinion on Meteor Shower at the Tower...I'm really pleased you liked it and explained why as well...I have only recently begun experimenting with different ways of manipulating photos so I'm happy to hear it when something turns out to someone's liking...thanks again...much appreciated.:Pat.
Sorry for my lack of comments and responses lately...I'm waaay behind in both...trying to catch up with a temporary avatar change and a quick but much appreciated note.
Hey, thanks for the positive comment and advice on "Delirium", I appreciate it! And what do you mean by yours are half as good? I really liked your "Interstellar Caterpillar" and "Climbing Tree"... they had really good use of depth!
Thanks for taking the time to comment on "Urchin"... I never thought of it looking like pick-up-sticks! But yeah, another example of when depth is needed.... sigh...
Thanks for the feedback on "Quadball" good to get other opinions and veiws, its all a learning curve for me but i,m getting there (slowly), call again, Steve.
Hello cfr....Thanks for taking the time to check out Bedtime Story , and for your kind words. As for the title...hmm...I seem to have trouble with these things. What came to mind immediately though, was the appearance of soft fabric or bed sheets, hence the name I chose.
I have taken a peek at your marvelous gallery. Very impressive! I can tell you don't have the problem that I do with some titles...any tips??
I'm using Apophysis, and there's several ways to get a flame. One of Random Batch - the app. creates a bunch of flames from your specifications; another - making one from scratch. Wizard's Carpet that you've so kindly commented on was made from scratch. Glad you liked it! :)
Hey, thanks for commenting on "Angelic"... sorry for posting the wrong one... heh, maybe I should take your suggestion and rename this one "Autumn Leaves" or something. Thanks again!
Thanks cfr.. i'm glad you enjoyed A New Beginning... you can do this too, just experiment and let your creativeness take over.. ;) this is actually going to be a cd cover.. =D
Thank you for your comment on "Broken Beauty". Sorry about it looking like that.. i was going to do something else with it.. but by the time i thought of it i had already merged it all together, saved and closed it, and didn't really feel like making it all over again. As for the title.. it was just something that popped into my head.. but thanks again for your comments.. and i'll keep them in mind next time i'm working on something. :)
Greetings cfr, I'd like to thank you for taking the time to view Frolic of the Fiddleheads , and for your inspiring comments. I'm glad that you like it. The flame started out a bit too defined and thin, so by adding some blur effect to it, I thought it produced a bit more character. I already have plans of re-rendering it in transparent, so that I can see how a different background will look. Your comments are much appreciated :)
Lori
Hello! Sincere thanks for such rich comment on "Aquamantica".Glad you like this image.I appreciate your support very much!
It was a little difficult to composite the seashells on the background as good as possiblle and make a specific atmosphere on it.First i done the background and than came the idea with atlantic look:-)
Happy new year!
Johanna
Hi cfr, I'm delighted that you liked Joy! , and the fact that you went into detail to tell me why. I'm also glad you shared your ideas, by the light of your electric lamp...enchanting thoughts, but also thankful for the modern day conveniences :) You comments are much appreciated.
Lori
Cool, thanks for taking time to comment on both of my spiders! You are pretty much reading my mind about them: I liked and disliked both of them for exactly the same reasons as you. :)
It is bleak and desolate, I guess I was just in one of those moods of mine.
The darkness of the ruins obscures the details? I'll try to add some lighting a bit later on, and mess around with it. On my monitors, it doesn't really look too dark, but, dark enough, and I see what you mean in looking at it further.
Thanks for your nice comment on "Trapped"! Really you think so? I didn't think the story made it more dramatic, thanks for your idea. Glad you enjoyed it!
I've gotten a little behind on my responses to everyones comments. But I'm making good progress. Thanks for your comment on "Sound Blaster" cfr. I hope you liked it.
Thank you for taking so much time to drop by at "In The Deeps Of The Magical Forest"! Yes I was planning on doing a symmetrical image, but when I did the white part of the gem was at the bottom of the gem, so I decided that I would leave it the way it was. I am glad that you dropped by. Have a nice day! I will, after reading your very nice comment!
Dear Margali. Thank you for all your great comments on my postings. I appreciate them so much. The archived images are a bit the same as the c-index. Sometimes very perplexing. Some fractals that I find awsome have low c-index. For my Fractured Shapes, I had glowing comments but a low c-index!!??. Even if some of my images were archived, you took the time to browse my gallery and that's so nice. Thanks a lot for your interest. :)
Thanks for your comment on "For April ( aprilsloan )"! Thanks! I realized after I uploaded the image that some of the gems weren't being 'held' the way I wanted. Thaks for dropping by!
Hi cfr, I really appreciate you taking the time to view Elephus Maximus . I enjoyed reading your very interesting comments, and pleased that you liked it.
I remember seeing Wittgenstein's work in the past, but odd as it may be, I could not find any visual examples of his illustrations on a web search today. It's quite entertaining to read what others see in my images, as it lends another perspective to them. Thanks again, and have a great day :)
Lori
Yes, I am back again to thank you for the inspiring comments you made on “The Brain”. I am glad that you find so many of my creations eyecatching...Kat
Sorry for not saying thanks sooner, but thanks for leaving your very long comment on "It Selfish and Vain Past Owners"! I didn't notice with the gems but I not going to be uploading a rework of that image, I wasn't all that happy with it. Thanks again!
Hello cfr, thank you for your lovely comments on chapel ceiling and your wonderfull description of the library ceiling.I really appreciate your comments.
I appreciate very much your thoughtful and informative comments on my work! :) I'm glad I made you like those reds, if even for a moment. Oh, and that dark ring in the Summer Queen... I'll see what I can do with it. The reason I didn't remove it is 'cuz it was putting the focus into the middle and left room for icons on the sides... Then again, maybe someone wants to have it on their wall (unlikely!). Thank you very much, I look forward to your comments! :)
Thanks CFR for the comments you made on Memories of Spring I am in Texas so Spring and summer is almost all we know. I can't swap with you but maybe you can visit us during your winter season....Kat
