Hi cfr
Thanks for your comments on Artifact and Alien Fruit. The Artifact could be an alien life boat or an an probe searching.I never really thought about it.
Gabriela :)
Sorry for not returning the comment cfr. I have not been on for months! My how fast time flies. I do not recall the original version of the quote, however, if I'm recalling correctly: It was something similar to "Reach for the stars, for if you fail, you will land among the clouds"
The photo part is an image that one of my friends sent me ages ago. At the time, I was experimenting a lot with trying to make a decent space background using Photoshop. I know it's from NASA, but I don't know exactly where it came from.
Everyone say's that love makes the world go 'round, but come'on, everyone knows what makes the world go 'round is really a mutant gerbil on a treadmill.
Thank you so much for your comments on Patchwork Pink. I do not post many of my abstract efforts as they never do well and this is no exception (28!)
That makes me appreciate thoughtful comments such as yours all the more.
I had fun making it, and I guess that is important too. :) Back to the drawing board !!

Hi cfr.. thanks for your lovely comment on Heart Of Blue.. i'm so glad you liked it.. it took a lot of work in apophysis to get it like that.. the dark background just didn't look right with this one..
Thanks for commenting on Funky Feelers! I didn't think of it being like one of those hi-tech cities, but that's a nice idea. One of the first sci-fi books I ever read was Logan's Run.
Thanks CFR for the visits and comments on 'Tumble and Sharpy'. I am very greatful and I kid you not , the original tumble one was up and to the left like you suggested and then I thought I should center the main circle. I`m thinking I maybe made a mistake. As always your opinion is very welcome and helps a lot for the future.

Hello cfr, thanks very much for the nice comment on Viral Patch! I would have responded before now but have been down with the flu (real flu, not a cold). Seems a bit ironic when I think about it...
Glad that you liked the lgow and thought that it was eerie looking. That is certianly what I was aiming for.
Hm, I believe that the ship's journey shall last for eternity. As far as howl ong the ship has been there, good question. I'll take the easy way out and say that no one is certain how long it has been there. Guess that it adds to the overall mystery and all.
The green glow? It indicates that it shall be a haunting journey of the afterlife. A journey of the real yet unreal. where sanity is naught but madness and insanity is but peace.
Sure, I'll be more than happy to pass some chocolate along!
Although nightmares would probably not be called by many as wonderful, I just sort of look like nightmares as a free horror movie. Granted, quite a few nightmares I've had, well, er...let's just say kinda glad I woke up. But, the entertainment value...priceless!
Hi cfr
thanks for your comment on "Aquarium" My two cats sure let me know when they are hungry...
There are only 3 different fish which are copied and resized and each have different backgrounds ( flame)added... lots of erasing and layers...really a lot of work :)
The Navigator's Screen...It's meant to be blurry, signifying a holographic display comprised of a matrix of electrically charged plasma...Thanks for stopping by...

Hi cfr. Your observations are correct. The comment about the underworld has not been mentioned to me by anyone else but you spotted it right away. I really appreciate you dropping in to "The City 1." - John
"...here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;which grows
higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart
i carry your heart(i carry it in my heart)"
Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving such lovely words for " I Only Have Eyes For You" I appreciate them very much and are happy that you like the image.

Thank you so much for your encouraging words on "Stained glass experiment in depth". Coming from a creative gallery such as yours, it is even more respected.
cfr, thanks for commenting on "Looking Out.." Some say Alice was a metaphor for our fascination with mind expanding drugs. If Carroll had planned such a metaphor, then maybe she was spinning! - John
cfr, I would take your hand if you would like to explore "Moonlight Blue." ;) Thanks again for looking at one of my pieces and leaving a comment. - John
Thank you so much for dropping by Soft Falls The Rain & commenting. If there's one thing I like, it's your wonderful comments. Thanks again for visiting ! <<<hug>>>
Thank you for taking the time to comment so kindly on "Setting Sun". I do appreciate it. :o)
Was one of the versions that came out of the 'challenge' that I was quite pleased with personally. My kind of abstract, I guess ... clean lines, geometric design to a degree and so on.
Your comments did give me an idea though ... the iron wrought sculpture reference in particular. Now ... let's see if I can do what my minds' eye is envisioning ... some justice.
So ... double thanks is in order here, for the comments and inspiration. :o)
Les.
