Hello Darryl, Thank you comments about “Trader In The Sun”, she (James Craig) comes to town once a year to take part in our maritime festival. The rest of the year she does cruises and charters from Sydney.
Hi Darryl

Hay Darryl. Thanks for the lovely comment on "Fallen". These fishermen spend hours on these stands morning and evening. Some times they remind me of 'Survivor' :)
Hey Darryl, thanks for your comments on my posting Harmony. While fall is not my favourite season there are days when it has overwhelming appeal. Such was this day, when the elements all come together. I'm heading to BC in Nov ...hopefully to find time to see what the camera can offer. Cheers Canada.

Hello my friend! Thanks for visiting ~defiant daisy~. This beauty is standing tall outside my front door amid the rubble of the season as we prepare the yard and the garden for the winter. I thought the 18 hours of solid rain would do it in, but still it stood, proud and tall. We have had wind and frost and cold, still standing and looking good too! I took that shot on 10-21-06.
Hope all is going well at your home Look forward to update! Bye for now ;=)
Hi Darryl, thanks for taking the time to comment on Strawberry Leaf. I sometimes have a hard time figuring out which gallery to submit images to. Do you think I put Strawberry Leaf into the right gallery?
Thanks to all who comment on pictures in my gallery. Please accept my apologies if I am unable to thank you each time, and please don't feel obligated to thank me for my comments.
Thanks Mayne....for looking in at my pic/ Dark Helmut huh? hahahaha cute name....{thanks!} I really am flattered you cared enough to peek in and comment! :) Terri/MM

Thank you so much for the comment on final. Its possibly my favorite peice I've done so far so it feels good to get such great feedback. :)
Hope you're enjoying your holidays.
Thanks for the comments on 'A Nice Pose' very much appreciated. This isn't done with a filter. It's a known procedure done in Photoshop. I guess it didn't work on this, it really bombed...may even pull it.

Hi, Thanks for the comment on Violins. I was looking for a music category, but didn't see it. I edited the image to that gallery. Thanks for the suggestion. I appreciate it.
"Praise the light of late November,
the thin sunlight that goes deep in the bones.
Praise the crows chattering in the oak trees;
though they are clothed in night, they do not
despair. Praise what little there's left:
the small boats of milkweed pods, husks, hulls,
shells, the architecture of trees. Praise the meadow
of dried weeds: yarrow, goldenrod, chicory,
the remains of summer. Praise the blue sky
that hasn't cracked yet. Praise the sun slipping down
behind the beechnuts, praise the quilt of leaves
that covers the grass: Scarlet Oak, Sweet Gum,
Sugar Maple. Though darkness gathers, praise our crazy
fallen world; it's all we have, and it's never enough."

Thank you for your heartwarming words of friendship and positive reinforcement of my efforts at "November impressions III", Darryl. I am looking forward to your next visit.

Darril, debtor for the commentaries in (the hand) I did not look at to the details that friza because for me the photos are a diversion and this was taken off in a distant natural park of my house only 4 a thousand meters, I am natural that he podesse to be better, but, is my order of excuse there. pride
Of course, I visit caedes after a long break and one of your photos catches my eye... I didn't even look at the artist name, but should have known it was you... :)
Hello Darryl! I want to thank you for taking the time to view and comment on my Lower Falls image. I like the way the rocks weave left and right on the falls. The water flows behind the rocks on the left to another set of falls. Not much light down in that valley on that overcast day.

Hi Darryl, thanks for taking the time to comment on My Waterfall, Hans's Editing. I really love what Hans did, but I agree with you about it being a little dark. That was my one comment when he showed it to me. -Donna

Hello Darryl, please pardon my delayed response, as live's events have interfered momentarily! I am here to visit and to thank you especially for visiting me while in the 'Spotlight'! When I saw you in the audience, with many of my other friends, you made my eyes sparkle with heartfelt thanks! Seeing you there made my 'light' shine very much brighter! It was fun having you there and I so appreciate it Darryl! Also, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the comments left on my images, and the attention you have given over time to my work! It is always a pleasure indeed to see you on my 'page'! Thank you Darryl, Sincerely,Marilyn

Hii friend :)
Thanks very much for liking "How far will u cry". Its actually piece which I did to say that crying is just temporary and the bright times are yet to come. Its how the dark and light shades play in the art all the way.
Thanks for the comment on "Peak Shoreline." I'm glad you liked it. As to the comment about the land, 'fixing' that would mean increasing the size of the landscape, and would require more additional render time than it would be worth.

Thanks for the comments on 'Rain Forest' very much appreciated. The 1-A is a 50% UV and overcast day filter to help brighten colors and sure didn't work with these shots. Put up 2 and both in the toilet. Have more but will be archived at best. No more goofy filters. I'll get a polarizer and that's it.

Hey Mr. D....thanks again for stopping by ~orchid water~. Hope you checked out Hottrockins gallery and saw the full flower without water. Your words never fail to put a smile on my face!
Have a great day ;=)
Kia Ora Darryl, many thanks for your remarks on Ferns, I do appreciate your interest. I have an abundance of these ferns in a shady part of my garden and these were taken as they grew, against a cream wall. My intention was to ceate a 'Silver Fern' which is the emblem of New Zealand but I am still working on that one :)
Hello Darryl, It's so nice of you to stop by and comment on "Feeding Time" I had been hoping for a shot of some babies but did not have a good closeup. I was thrilled when i came across these sweeties. Thank you again. > ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ :)sandi♪ ♫ ♪
Thanks for the comment on my goat shot. I took it at the zoo here in calgary. So i guess you might say i was kind of cheating:P And i think you are right. I think it is a female. I noticed that afterwards looking through some other pictures. I think the males have the rounded horns. I was to lazy to fix my comment:P.
Hi Darryl, I partly agree with you.
I think we humans merely speed up an irreversible proces which is just the end of another ice age.
I also wonder: if we faced global cooling would we decide to burn of extra CO2?
Still, I am sitting 5 meters below sea level as I write this...damn!

Hi there Mr. D! Thanks for stopping by and leaving such kind words on ~common milkweed~. There was a huge field and many of these were scattered about. Each one appeared as though it were glowing. I found one that I could zoom in and tried to capture it the best I could! These were some of the biggest 'puffs' that I have ever seen! It always warms my heart to see your icon on my image! Thank you my friend. Have a good week ;=)

Thanks for your comments on "Lights Out 3." There are two other shots of the lighthouse in my gallery. One is a full shot. It's actually the best, but I also liked the one just showing the top.
Darryl,
thanks so much for stopping by the image ~in vamoura's memory~ and leaving such kind words. Those of us who knew her were blessed and now her beautiful art will live on this site as long as the site lives on....I am sure Vamoura is pleased about that and smiling on all of us.
Hey Darryl...how ya doing up there? Got the Snow Geese? or are they coming here now.? The Autumn colours here in Oregon are just fantastic. Cold up there yet? Well, was noticing you are online, so I thought i'd say hello....hugs to ya..verena

Thanks for commenting on "Mossman Gorge"! I agree completely that the rocks are overexposed, I was limited by the camera and the time I had to take it! Maybe a HDR would of captured it well. I had tried to improve it with good old photoshop to no real avail.
Every day you may make progress. Every step may be fruitful. Yet there will stretch out before you an ever-lengthening, ever-ascending, ever-improving path. You know you will never get to the end of the journey. But this, so far from discouraging, only adds to the joy and glory of the climb. - Churchill
