Thanks, Marisha, for your kind comments about my daughter's work (Rachael). We're both pleased that you enjoyed them. Welcome to Caedes. Hope to see some of your work soon. I noticed your project is "getting awesome space pics." I am director of a NASA Educator Resource Center. :) I think I could help you there.
Thanks for your comment Marisha. Your terminology is quite OK. Boat do come out of the water like that, though usually with bigger waves. This one is unusual because the boat is very light for its size.

If my comment on your work ever seems to criticise, it does not. It is always so that we may learn together.
Hi Marisha...thanks for stopping by & taking the time to leave such warm words on ~blue morph~. I agree, butterflies can be difficult to photograph. I found, for me, it takes a lot of patience and a lot of shots to get a decent capture! Just keep at it and you will get one. Welcome to caedes.net!

Hi Marisha, and many thanks for your kind words on "Keeping lookout" and "On silver pinions". Birds are one of my favourite subjects for photographs, as you might guess from my gallery :-)
Thanks for your encouragement on The Night Awaits. I loved that whole photo shoot. It was twenty days long and I got to roam the French Pyrenees. I don't guess I'll ever have a chance like that again.
Hey Marisha :D
Thanks for commenting on *Evanescent Elegance*...you're right, I do see the similarities ^_^
I'm pleased you liked the design,
Best wishes,
Thanks for your comment on my Norte Dame shot. The trick to capturing a good shot in there was a longer shutter with a tripod or like i did rest the camera on something. For most flashes the room is to big so it wouldn't work to well. I can't remember what they were doing to the building with the scafold. I wish it wasn't there, but nothing i can do about:(. I haven't had much of a chance to get any pictures in buildings like that. I live in westren canada which is probably amoung the newest places in the world (Still old, but newer if you know what i mean) so there isn't many old buildings like this. I am glad that you liked the shot.
Thanks Marisha for your nice comment on Hidden Away.. im glad you liked it.. it was a beautiful, peaceful spot.. i wish i had it in my garden too... (and yes a navel is an orange, but they were talking about their belly buttons.. lol)
Hi Marisha, thanks for the comment on Aira Force. The Lake District is a rather nice national park in England.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lake_District for more info :)
(Happy New Year too, by the way)
A million thanks for taking a stroll with me and checking out the "Dunajec castle 2", Marisha. Frankly speaking it is the weather which made the photo so attractive. It contributed immensely to the atmosphere of the place. After all it seems castles and ruins is one my favourite categories, lol.
Nice to see you among ones who responded to my “early September” photo. Your warm feedback is much appreciated. At this time of the year however the alley looks more like Fall season - definitely my favourite season for snapshooting.
Thank you Marisha for your comments about “Looking West”. I would like to go back there sometime to see if there are better patterns in those rocks :-)
Thanks for your comments on "A little past dark". Glad you liked it.
It's a Sundial I have in my Garden. I took it on semi Macro, on a Tripod. I positioned the camera to where the light from a street light reflected on it. It was also wet with Rain.
I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is.

Nice to hear from you, Marisha. So good to know you devoted some time and attention to look at my "waiting for a sunbeam" image and left me some warm words. The photo was taken in panoramic mode and then stitched. Glad you liked the result.
Hello Marisha....Many thanks for taking the time to have a look at (SCOTTISH HIGHLANDER)and for your comments, they are very much appreciated...This is Scotlands national cow called the highland cow....Thankyou again.....All the best to you Marisha....Mick.
"Do you see any Teletubbies in here? Do you see a slender plastic tag clipped to my shirt with my name printed on it? Do you see a little Asian child with a blank expression on his face sitting outside on a mechanical helicopter that shakes when you put quarters in it? No? Well, that's what you see at a toy store. And you must think you're in a toy store, because you're here shopping for an infant named Jeb."
Thanks for the comment on "St.Michae's"! Amazingly I have lived here for almost 5 years and never been to St.Michaels until this year. And the town is about 1.5 hrs from where I live. That's what I get for always going to Ocean City.
Thanks Marisha for commenting on my picture “Wood Duck” I’m surprised this picture turned out as well as it did seeing it was shot through a chain link fence.
