I take a back seat to Mother Nature, you can only snap what she puts before you, and thanks so much for your time, and wonderfull comment on Solitude it is kindly received. Dwight.

Thanks again, Pat, for 'Silence's kingdom'. I love your country!
I remember of a small hotel in Sault-Sainte-Marie. We have been treated like kings and we drank many beers with the owner... :-)
Hey Pat,
Thanks for the comments on "Dew Apple". Nothing like the taste of a crisp macintosh apple, but I didn't eat THAT one. Since you are also from the Toronto area you may be interested to know the picture was taken at Major Mackenzie and Leslie..........John
Hello Pat: I am really glad you liked "Wenatchee River Suprise" and "Just Visiting" enough to put them in your Favorites Gallery. You just made my day.
and thanks pat for looking at "dunno what you got till its gone" :P it seems more and more people are starting to recognise my work before they even see who made it. i dont know if thats a good thing or not lol :)
Hi Pat. I looked through your gallery, and it looks like you've already produced more in your few days here at Caedes than I did in the entire first two months I was here. I like curved walkway a lot, and of course - "These Hands". Oh, and welcome to Caedes.
*~I feel myself going down. Again into this despair I trod. Trying to pull myself up again, before you came, failing everytime. But somehow you rescued me from the depths, and I stand proud to be your love~*
Re: "These Hands" comments; Heheh. No. I've never played. But I'm a kind of "understated" guy and it's always seemed a fitting tribute for things that tickle me. Get that thing right and get it up here. I can see my "significant other" finding a spot on the wall for it. (With your permission of course.)

Thanks for the permission. I have that feeling a lot, I just wonder "Why didn't I think of that???" I don't want to copy off someone elses ideas, so thanks again. If you look on your map, I live just about due West, so the weather is probably similar. Sorry. :-) On the plus side, not only do the windows in my house have those block frame things on the inside, but the outside too. It looks really cool to have the wind-blown snow resting on the outside of the windows.
Hello Pat, thanks for commenting on "Best of Friends" - they are my little cuties!! There are a lot of cat lovers on Caedes - so I feel right at home ;-)
Thanks so much Pat, for your wonderful comments on Dew. I find the early morning a special time to find some unusual things to shoot, and you don't have to deal with the wind most of the time. Thanks again. Dwight.

Pat, thanks for your thoughts on "Snow Discs". I agree, nothing could be done about the flash, so it isn't exactly a problem, but anything anybody doesn't like about an image that could be improved would be considered constructive criticism (e.g. framing, subject, lighting under different conditions, ect.) I am glad you liked it. :-)
thank you so much for looking at my poem. You were one of the ones I wanted to look at it greatly. You write so beautifully and I like your poems. I so hoped you would like mine. We plan on entering another into the contest so please keep your eyes open for it. Your pal, Ruby

Good afternoon Pat. I want to thank you for viewing and commenting on my Rock Owl 2 photo. I welcome and appreciate your honest and kind comments. I'm glad that you enjoy my other images also.

Hello Pat. Thank you for those great comments about "Macquarie Sunset". That was a memorable evening, the colours changed so much it was like watching a slow movie.
glad you liked Seatbacks. I was beginning to think no one did =) There was actually an advertisement for digital cameras on the screen when I shot the picture. Ironic, eh?

If my comment on your work ever seems to criticise, it does not. It is always so that we may learn together.
Thanks Pat for the nice comments. I'm glad that you enjoyed my Ginkgo Leaf photo. I thought it turned out nice. I may redo this photo when the leaves turn completely.

Thank you Pat for your comment on my image. I'm glad that you like my Campfire photo. I was sitting around the campfire after a full day of hiking and photo taking and just couldn't stop. The flames drew me in and I just had to capture it in a photo.

Thankyou so much Pat for your very nice comments on "Angels Realm" and "land Of The Lost" and my gallery in general. I'm so glad you like my work. Alot of thought and time goes into these images and positive feedback keeps the fires burning. I do appreciate your interest.
There's an emptiness inside her and she'd do anything to fill it in. Though it's red blood bleeding from her now, it's more like cold blue ice in her heart. She feels like kicking out all the windows and setting fire to this life. She could change everything about her using colors bold and bright, but all the colors mix together...to grey. ~*DaveMatthewsBand*~
