Hi Mimi. Thanks my friend for your interesting comments on my last Alsace photos :-)
Alsace in summer is very nice too, with tasty Riesling or Gewurztramminer white wines... Thanks again!
Hi Mimi. Thanks for your continued support for our rebuilding effort - your's and your son's. Since our government has been so niggardly about helping this effort is having to come from the American people.
Good morning Mimi- thanks so much for the reply at "Fixer Upper". I just love old houses like this. I would also love to have those metal chais on my deck too. I am seriously thinking about checking into it. Will keep you updated........ :)
Rain Drop Pussy Willow 2 is another capture of this years Pussy Willow Buds. This was taken in the rain holding an umbrella in one hand and the camera in the other. Thanks Mimi for viewing and commenting on this image.
Russ
Rain Drop Flower 2 is a Camellia bud washed in a gentle rain. Thanks Mimi for taking the time to view and comment on this image. I appreciate your nice comments.

Hello Mimi. To read that you felt that you were watching the “Cain Point” sunset in person put a big smile on my face. That was a wonderful compliment, Thank you.
Hi Mimi! Your comment on 'Day Of Faith And Flowers' really brought a smile to my face...thank you bunches for the really kind words! I really appreciate that and thanks for taking time out to comment and view, I'm most grateful!
Thanks again!
Cindy
Hi Mimi, thank you very much for so kind comments on “Smell of spring”. Tulips is my wife’s favourite flower and I’m glad you liked to. Have a wonderful day!
Saulius
Hi Mime, thanks for the wonderful comment on "kelp". Judging from your comment I would have to say that your definitely a Caedesian. Did you check out this. Again thanks
edit: Oh look, I finally figured out how to do a link. hehe
Hi there Mimi ! Thank you so much for dropping by Dolphins At Play & leaving your lovely comments. A pretty stylized version I admit, but those curving red shapes looked so much like dolphins or dolphin jewelry to me that the whole thing just clicked. I'm so pleased you're putting it on your desktop ! Wow !! Glad you liked it! But if you ever decide to go swimming in Apophysis waters, let me know, I'll be glad to help out as I can.
Hugs !
Hi Mimi. Thanks for your message on my 'For you ladies'.
I've the same problems to take photos through the shops windows. They think we made industrial espionage... ;-)
Hello Mimi. Glad you like my last forest captures. I took them during a nice journey in Alsace - France. The weather was really wet but when we went trough this large forest, there was a strange fog, with light enough to take photos. Some walkers said "is it something to take there?"... ;-)
Rain Drop Flower 3 is one of several flower images taken in the rain. Marilynjane inspired me to get out and take some photos. Thanks Mimi for the lovely comments.
Russ
Dear Mimi. Thanks for checking out "Smart eater". I took dozens of shots of this cute one and a bunch of them which I might post in future. So was lucky to capture the pose well.
Hello Mimi, tks so much for the wonderful review on Dreaming.
The glow around the swan actually comes from the effect of the duotone filter that I applied in Photoshop for the dreamy look.
There is a similar image in colour in my gallery for anyone who is interested to see it. It is called Graceful!
Tks,
JuneBug
Hi Mimi. Thanks for your comments on my pic. Yes it was a shock to see them. They are very rare this far north since they are usually found only in Mexico and the southernmost tip of the U.S. They came every morning for about 3 weeks and stayed for 30 minutes or so. I took a lot of pictures of them. They swam like regular ducks but also perched on tree limbs and fence rails. Since they were from Mexico we named them Jose and Hose B. --- Irv
Hi sweet Mimi, many thanks for your viewing of "Tangerine"! I always appeciate your wonderful comments and your 'story tell' descriptions of my images! And yes, I thought it was time for a rose, can you imagine that? LOL! I think those are the only flowers in MI that are grown here!! Not too versatile am I, you would think I would catch on after awhile, wouldn't you? Just teasing you Mimi! And one more thing, these flowers in MI, only come in pink and variations of pink! You know I had better move to another state, and maybe I could discover another color! Still teasing! I love your comments, they are so sweet and so pleasant to read! They make me feel good all over! Love, Marilyn
My wife Miss Kim Cande--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thank you very Much Mimi. She is a very lovely woman. It's not hard to capture a great image of her. Can you tell by the way she poses that she was a model.
Hello Mimi! Thanks for the feedback on "Made for Walking"! The song is actually where I got the title from, you were right! Much appreciate your comments; thanks again! ~Dan
I so appreciate that you have taken the time to comment on Secret and Reflection, your positive comments are a real boost! (please go look at my photo of Purity, it's a single bloom of Secret)
Hey Mimi, Thanks for the comment on "painted Flowers". What I was referring to was that when I shoot with tungsten light the color balance almost always comes out with an orange color cast and I have to correct. When I turned the light on to expose the background, I placed a piece of glass in front of the lens that had been smeared with vasoline to make the background soft and to give the edges of the flowers the glow effect.
Thank you so much for your useful critique on "Succulent Sautee"!! You're right, the colors do clash in an oddly pleasing way... I hadn't noticed until you just pointed it out :) Thanks for stopping in on my gallery!! :-D
Hi Mimi, many thanks dear for your wonderful words on "Misty Glads"! You always write a great little short story in describing images! It takes time to do this, so I appreciate it very much! As you know, it is always a delight to read those words! Yes Mimi, can you imagine me liking pink and related colors, just imagine? Thanks again Mimi, and like you, I always have the coffee on! I am smiling because that is your line! LOL! It's a good one! Sincerely, Marilyn
Hi Mimi,
Thanks for visiting and commenting on my female cardinal and my turtle! I did crop that cardinal image to rid the photo of the distracting background, maybe that's why it's pixelated? I'm pretty new at this, but i think that may be why. Thanks again for your input! Carol :-)
Hello Mimi! Thanks a million for the great comment you gave for 'In Morning Purity Arrayed', I so much appreciate it and I'm so pleased you like it!
Thanks again!
Cindy
Hi Mimi! Much appreciation and many Thank You's for the comment you gave for 'The First', I'm truly grateful and I'm very pleased you like it! Always a pleasure hearing from you!
Thanks again!
Cindy
thanks for your positive comments on Autumn Splendor they are truly appreciated! The tips of the petals being darker is caused by how much sun that bud got when it was developing, the more sun the more vibrant it is. Sometimes it is very bright red orange. This one's a beautiful rose but this picture isn't doing it justice.....will post another when I get a better one.
Thanks Mimi for viewing “Water Baby” This one was posted by popular demand because lots of people seem to like although it doesn’t do much for me. It will be interesting to see how it rates.
Hi Mimi,
thanks a lot for such a nice comment to "stairway to heaven". Yes, I had to go up there, because before, I went down these the stairs. To the little nature reserve.
Glad you like it.
Howdy from Arizona! Thank you for taking time to comment on 'Hummer on a shell' - it was just lucky I had a camera w/a zoom and maybe a tired hummer! I just posted another stationary hummingbird photo I hope you'll also enjoy - 'Itchy or Scratchy' (the title will make sense when you see it).
Goodmorning Mimi! Thank you so much for the nice comment on "Spring's on the way". I was out of town for the weekend and had the chance to see many blossoming trees and experience some good weather, it was all so nice after months of winter and I felt that I had to share that! So glad you liked it! Warm regards,
Maria
Thanks Mimi for the kind comments on “pretty In Pastel” it was originally shot in portrait but was cropped in landscape for the purpose of using it as a background.
I am so impressed with your generous and warm-hearted comments you left me on my mountain captures: "in the mountains" and "sunset in the mountains". My humble words of gratitude for your constant support for my attempts to present the beauty of mother nature. I have to admit I had a very successful winter holiday. The picturesque views were so breathtaking and left everyoone speechless. I hope you will follow my footsteps as I upload the next mountain shots?
i was there at a great time. it was spring and very late in the day. i took so many images that day. some were easy to dump but the rest were hard for me to decide on. i'm glad you like this one! thanks for letting me know. jen
(I'm sending this to several of you because i'm sooooo far behind)

Hi Mimi, thanks for commenting on the glass balll picture. i didn't always know about the glass ball thing until fairly recently. i was talking to someone from alaska the other day asking if i would be able to find them there. he said there was no chance because now that the locals are on to them, they are out at the crack of dawn everyday. jen
mimi, i love to sit and watch the ocean. anything it does makes me happy. i take lots of pictures of it because my camera is glued to my body. thanks for liking this one. jen

Hi Mimi...many thanks for your favorable review of The Canuck Boys...glad you liked it and please excuse my lateness in replying...unexpected work, the BBQ, and a little interruption in internet service recently has put me way behind in all my comments and replies...that BBQ was fun wasn't it.:Pat.
hey mimi.. glad you stopped in for a look at Illusions.. its actually to mirrored closet doors.. one was in my hand.. noticed the neat effect as i was installing them, so i grabbed a flower from outside.. the little bit of blurriness is from the fact i had to hold the one door as i took the photo.. glad you liked it mom :P
Mimi, your visit and comments on A Good Year at the BBQ are much appreciated...glad you liked it and had fun at the BBQ too...Cat did her job very well didn't she...no one caught her.:Pat.
Hi Sweet Mimi, a huge thanks for viewing "Party Treat"! I really appreciate your complementary words of pleasantries! There always so nice to read! I sure did stimulate a ton of appetites with this little treat! I thought Mimi, that maybe by taking this to the BBQ, and they run out of deserts, I would be there to help, what do you think? Thanks again Mimi, and I hope you return for another visit! In answer to your question about the rose and where it came from; I bought it along with others at a flower shop and I could call them, if you like! Please let me know, OK? Sincerely, Marilyn
HI Mimi! thanks for visiting Corkscrew and commenting. This is one of my first workings with this program. Until now, I hadn't made fractals! I will keep plucking away at it! Thanks again for the comments!
May the light always find you on a dreary day.
When you need to be home, may you find your way.
May you always have courage to take a chance
And never find frogs in your underpants.
Happy St. Patrick's Day Mimi ! Hope it's a blast ! :o)
we got there when it was still dark. as the sun rose higher and higher the colors got better and better. once it got to be 10-11 it was too bright. although i'd much rather be at the ocean it is a spectacular place to visit. thanks for your generous comments. jen
Hi Sweet Mimi, many thanks my dear for viewing "Splendrous"! I always enjoy your visits so much!! Your detailed description of my images make me feel like I am really a big time photographer and soon to be publishing for National Geographic and the list goes on! It all goes to my head, you know, but that's ok, isn't it? LOL! I am glad you liked it Mimi and I lood forward to many more of your visits, OK? Yes, the weather isn't too great right now, but that is soon to change, but you will be covered in the interim, with my flowers, until it does! Whoa, Mimi says, maybe that isn't the answer either!! LOL, LOL! Love ya, Sincerely, Marilyn
Thanks a ton,Mimi, for stopping by and commenting on "Dragon's Egg". I'll have to keep in mind, next time, to make copious use of greens and purples. You like Grapes? I think I'll do somethng with grapes. :o)
Hi again - thanks for commenting at "This Anna's a Male" - they're so quick, even when I have the camera all set and my 'trigger' finger half-cocked, I still get a lot of pix of the S end of a N bound hummer! Maybe I'll post one here sometime. Thank you again .....
