There is a pleasure in the pathless woods,
There is a rapture on the lonely shore,
There is a society, where none intrudes,
By the deep Sea, and music in its roar,
I love not man less, but Nature more
--Lord Byron
thanx for the comment on my work. I can make it bigger and the rez better, but im not good with all of that technical stuff . i just like creating images
And as we wind down on the road Our shadow's taller than our soul There walks a lady we all know Who shines bright light and wants to show
How everything still turns to gold and if you listen very hard
The tune will come to you at last when all are one and one is all To be a rock and not to roll

Mikey, thanks for the nice comments and very flattering vote on (Two Steps Back). The original photo was quite nice indeed but I had posted a couple others from around that area and thought this one was missing something so I decided to drag it through PSP and see what came out. Turns out that is a very cool program ;)
Mikey~Thank you very much so for the comment on Indigo Blue Sky, i know what you mean about capturing the allureing colour and escence of the sky, it is my favorite subject and i have been working with it for some time now.The sky was such an awesome shade that day so i was very lucky to get that shot.
hey thanks a lot for the comment on "the faucet god" and i appreciate the hats off.. i try to keep the new water shots interesting, but its getting harder and harder until i just get lucky like i did by getting the face in this image
Hi Mikey. You've been very helpful. I'd have been embarrassed had that .jpg been there long on Redeem. Guess I've been typing that so much lately that it just got stuck in my brain! Thanks also for the nice comment on Blued Together. I'm sure what you read was correct. ;)
Mikey. I am encouraged by the comment you left me on Who Let the Swirls Out. That was really nice of you to take the time to let me know you liked it. I was concerned about those swirls.
Thanks for your comment on 'Charleston Flower'. I've got plenty of photos (including the Hunley porcession) and I'll post them slowly but surely. I get down there quite a bit (I have family there) and I bring my camera every time.
Good evening Mikey. I am thrilled to read your comment on Three Times A Lady. Thanks sooooo much! I have to ask.....title ring any bell? Not really classic, but it did make a fortune.
BTW....love the project you say you are working on! ;)
Thanks for the comment on (All The World's A Stage) Mikey. I completely agree about the lightning. I was originally going to have something about lightening in the title but I had trouble coming up with something clever for it. Maybe I should still change it. Any suggestions??
Mikey, thanks for the comment on "For the Love of My Life" I'm learning and I have the time. So hopefully I'll get to the level of some of the better photographers on the sight.

Thank you Mikey for the kind remarks I guess now that you mention it.
Wow, Mikey! Thank you for the generous and encouraging comments on Metallic Leaves. That MindBogglingFractals program is a lot of fun to play with, especially now that I'm getting familiar enough with it to do some experimenting. Thanks again for the kind words!
Well I'm sorry that the spider didn't want to show up for you on (More Than Meets The Eye) but thanks for checking it out anyway and for the kind words. Did you try the tip with the small spiders? Because that seems to be helping some people who otherwise can never see these things. Weird that you can usually can't see them but had no luck with this one. Oh well, thanks again :)
Mikey, it's nice to hear from you on New Day Waiting and it was a nice thing to add that your icons were giving it a chance too. ;) That's one I actually used myself. lol Until of course that pretty yellow tounge twister showed up. ;)
Hi, Mikey...in answer to your question, D10F is my lazy-typist way of saying:
D = straight to my desktop
10 = my vote
F = straight into my Favorites Gallery
And, by the way, I don't give out all that many of them. :D
Oh Mikey im so sorry my head just was not working yesterday i spent the entire day going over all my English book for my English Lit exam (Of Mice And Men, An Inpsector Calls and Pre 1914 Poetry) so i was a bit stressed and not really with it ... im such a retard i cant believe i made that mistake!!!

Hi Mikey. Thanks for taking the bait and commenting on When Service Was Service. I was hoping you might see something there you liked. Appreciate you taking the time.
thanks so much for ur comment on military collage, i am really glad u like it, it kinda carries personal attachments for me, and also thank u for ur opinion as to which was the best i liked the original a lil better too. :)
The unexpected often reveals new ideas and unexplored paths. Therefore, one must learn to “look.” Nothing should restrict one’s manner of expression as long as “it works.” No amount of words can describe a photograph or create one. Frequently, we “find” without seeking, acting upon Pasteur’s expression “Chance favors the prepared mind.” That is why so many great “accidents” seem to happen to better photographers.--Arnold Newman
I'm a minimalist because I'm too dang chicken to make things complex! lol
I usually try to stay away from Blue because it is difficult to make it eye catching from the thumbnail. But if you say it looks interesting, I guess I just have to go and experiment some more!
Well, what a nice surprise and yes, I can do it in any color and so can you. lol What color do you want? ;) I just didn't have any yellow abstracts in my gallery and this time I had the title first. ha
Thanks for you comment on "Hurricane". I'm glad at least one person liked it enough to leave a remark. I appreciate you taking the time to do just that.
Thanks for your comment on "Everlasting?" !! :)
I took this while on a Cruise Ship, like February 24th or something... The ship was on its way back to Miami, FL. We were in the Caribbean. :)
Hi Mikey, Thank you for the nice comment on 'Final Approach.' It amazes me everytime I look at that photo that something so large can indeed float through the air with such ease. Hope to have more up soon.
Hi! Thanks for your comments on 'Dogwood blossoms'. I noticed the grainy background, too. I was torn between thinking it was a neat "antiqued" effect and wishing I knew how to get rid of it. Lol.
hey, thanks for the comment on my "two images in one" photo. The software is called photomatic and i was using the free basic version. It only takes about 5 mins to get to grips with it, its easy really. I did that photo on my first ever use after about 10 mins of experimenting with it!
