Titus 3:5-7, "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
6: Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
7: That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life."
Why did Jesus Christ have to die on the cross if all it took was good works to get to heaven? It is THROUGH Jesus Christ's blood that He saved us from Hell. If we could get to heaven on our own then Jesus Christ would've had to die again and again.
If you ANY questions please pm me.
Thank you for you comments on Sambouzick. I am glad you approve, I took several exposures and light setting untill I elimenated the blow outs. I still have to learn how to present better. Your technical feed back is appreciated. Thanks
Aloha Mike Mahalo for your nice comment about "Blue Hawaii" I remember the movie Blue Hawaii starring Elvis Presley and thought it would make a good title.
The power and force of the water spilling over the dam was awesome. I could feel the spray on my face and how fast it was racing down river, if you fell in you would never be seen again....glad you liked "Table Rock Dam" Mike! Diane
Thank you for your glowing review of 750 Islands Mike. It's hard to take a bad picture in a warm tropical paradise with pristine white sand beaches, crystalline blue waters, tropical flowers the colors of jewels, filling the balmy air with exotic perfume. The island is Eleuthera at 110 miles long and a mere two miles wide. I've been to 8 of the 750 in the Bahamas. I am glad my goal isn't to visit all of them...LOL
Thank you for your wonderful comment on Willow :) I used Photoshop with my wacom intuos tablet - the two things I just couldn't live without now! (well, maybe chocolate too!) take care x
Thanks for looking at the weird Devil's Hole in the Lost Sea Cave Mike it's big claim to fame it's America's largest underground lake. You take a 3/4 mile cave walking tour complete with a boat trip around the low lit lake stocked with trout the tour guide tosses fish food into the water and the big trout come alongside the boat and gobble it down. It's no great shakes but OK. I really like caves my favs are Carlsbad, Manmouth, Jewel Cave, Wind Cave. I can't help it that picture looks gross like a ugly wound, once the contest is over It's toast..
Glad you dropped by for a visit at my Coco Plum Cabana Mike! Hope you had a fun time, the door is always open you are Welcome back anytime! I took this picture because I liked the color combination of the blue chairs and coco plum
Hi Mike, glad you took the "Steep Climb" the road runs right beneath many great mountains including the highest in the state (14,433 foot Mount Elbert), and rises well above the treeline into the stark Alpine tundra zone, while also passing lakes, rivers, steep-sided valleys, thick forests of fir and extensive aspen groves. Highway 82 is usually open for only six months of the year, from late May to late October, At the top of Independence Pass I was unable to work the focus on the camera and lots of pictures came out blurry but when I returned to Breckenridge it was just fine, I think the high altitude must have affected it somehow.I appreciate your wonderful comment very much.
I think the place may have gone overboard with Flowers Galore! it seems a bit gaudy and I cut a slice off the flag..some true blue patriot might find that insulting.thanks for smelling the flowers Mike!
Thanks for looking at my fancy white car Mike..I don't take many car pictures so I thought I would post one for a change. I would rather have a fast sports car then an old one like this..
I sold the canoe shortly afterwards. It was heavy lifting onto the car roof all the time and figure I can just rent one for a couple of hours if I want to explore a waterway. Thanks for viewing the Rocky River Mike! Diane
Mike - Many thanks for the fave of 'Reflections on a Quiet Pond'. Beautiful weather while on a walk in the woods by streams and ponds makes a great afternoon. Thad
Glad you enjoyed "Mesa Verde Anasazi Southwest Cliff Dwelling" I am not back for long I am going to Cancun, MX shortly for 2 weeks, I am flying on Delta to Mexico City then changing planes for Cancun on Aeromexico...maybe I should brush up on my Spanish. I've never been to Mexico City before and sure the airport will be confusing, but I love adventure...
