Annie and I invite you to visit
our website.
Photography is not a trade - it is an art. It is more that an art.
It is a solar phenomenon,
where the artist collaborates with the sun.

You know Helen, I feel the same way when I see this shot again. I feel the beach withdrawal, too, and with a full screen view, I can almost feel the spray. Thanks for stopping in, I appreciate your comments.
Thank you Helen for the kind words on "At the Center of the Known Universe". I'm pleased you like it.
The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and all science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead: his eyes are closed.

Helen Again I appreciate your kind comments this time on "I Spy".
I sat down to take a rest while photographing in the Phoenix Botanical Garden and I spotted this little guy just a munching away. I only got several images before someone walked between us and he headed for cover.
The aim of every artist is to arrest motion, which is life, by artificial means and hold it fixed so that a hundred years later, when a stranger looks at it, it moves again since it is life. Since man is mortal, the only immortality possible for him is to leave something behind him that is immortal since it will always move. This is the artist’s way of scribbling; “Kilroy was here” on the wall of the final and irrevocable oblivion through which he must someday pass.
William Faulkner
Thanks Helen for taking a look at "If Only I Could Talk (Collaboration)". I'm sure I can also speak for Nathan when I say that we are pleased you liked it.

hey Helen.. ty for the comment on my shirt idea.. i had considered doing different colors.. may post those for fun later :) and white would definitely be an option..
Hi Helen, thank you for your comment on "Fall Impressions". You're right, the bright background is a bit distracting. I should have used a flash to brighten up the foreground and fight back the daylight. Next time I know....
Have a great time and I'd be glad if you stop by from time to time and watch the pics of my gallery. Best wishes...., Bernd
Never lie, steal, cheat, or drink.
But if you must lie,
lie in the arms of the one you love.
If you must steal,
steal away from bad company.
If you must cheat, cheat death.
And if you must drink. . . .
drink in the moments
that take your breath away. . . . .

Thanks Helen, for viewing and commenting Madagascarian Sunbather. These lemure monkeys are really cute and funny to study. I realy enjoyed my walk in their large cage.
I´m glad you liked this image of one of them.
I went to photograph the sunset on that beaufiful evening but decided to change to some close-ups. My Sweetgum Sunset image was the result. Thank you very much Helen for viewing and commenting on this image. I'm glad I could share it with you.

Hi Helen, thanks for your comment on Dunes. I paint with acrylics, it's my favourite medium. I am still new in painting, but I hope I'm improving every day a little bit. :) Thanks again for your support and have a Merry Christmas.
Hi again Helen. I hope you´ll save "Heart Of Glass", print it and send it to someone you love on Valentine´s Day !
Thank you for your kind comment on this image.
Hi Helen, thank you very much for viewing "As seen Through a Mirror"!! I appreaciate your comments and ideas, and will certainly remember them! I hope you revisit my gallery, I would enjoy that! Sincerely, Marilyn
Thank you for your positive feedback on snowcover. Glad you found it worth your visit. I guess the winter season has its unique charm, at least when there is some fresh and soft snow all around. If you like such winter captures I would strongly ecourage you to visit my gallery.
thanks helen for your thoughts on Waterfall melt, I do have some other shots of this waterfall in other shuuter speeds and apatures but I like this one the best. thanks again

Im a fan of pen drawings because its a way of making an image fast without having to spend time on shading. But most of all its cos it gives me a chance to take any anger out on paper.
Thanks for the comment.
Sam.
Thanks Helen for viewing and commenting on my On Golden Pond 5 photo. The fish was the hardest part of this image to manipulate. It took a while to get it to look like it was under water. The trees and leaf reflection was given a wind ripple along with the ring ripple. This was a series of progression in learning to use layers and filters. A later evolution had what appeared to be a dead cat floating in the water with a fish pecking at it.

re: Despair
Hi Helen!
Wow....came home from a heck-of-a day...looked on-site here and saw your comment! I just hafta tell you....you made my day! Thanks! Best Wishes always!
Hello there, Mushy, Thank you for commenting on my watercolour of 'Bill the Tortoise'. Yes, you're right - it IS a difficult medium to master but I guess for me, that's what makes it more interesting than oils or acrylics. In your profile you don't say what you're rediscovering at school but whatever it is, I do hope it getting under your ribcage and making your heart race faster. Take care of yourself and thanks again for commenting... and thank you too for adding me as a friend. I'm really touched on both counts, Helen.
Hello Helen and thank you so much for your very kind comment about my twin granddaughters on the beach. I was posting as I did not as a snapshot but as an action shot...I guess I should have posted it under taht heading, if there is one..lol...but I do appreciate your enjoying my photo..that means a lot..Verena
Hi there Helen, nice to meet you...and thank you for dropping by Fearful Froggy...very glad you liked him...I appreciate your time and visit...it was snowing here in Toronto yesterday too.
Hello Helen. Thank you for those lovely comments you left at “Still Sailing”. I agree about the colours, they happen several times a year over here but they only last for a few minutes.
A rather fitting way to end the day for me, as I just read your most gracious words that you left on my image; "Words".
Thank you for that.
I am a little surprised however, that in glancing at your profile info, you have been on the site here longer than I ... and we have not crossed paths.
Well, that has been remedied ... and I look forward to taking a tour of your galleries.
Ok ... took a peek. :oP
Hmm, the creativity is certainly apparent ... thinking that you must have some time restrictions?
Well, that aside ... here is a pre-emptive comment then ... your one image taken at Wichita Botanical Gardens? A very serene and tranquil photo.
Would love to see some more if that area is readily available to you. Just a thought, and perhaps ... a request as well. :o)
Thank you very kindly Helen, for the nice birthday wish. Sure are alot of nice people on this site, Have a good day. Glad you liked the Fireworks photo.

"Cold River Panorama" was on a very windy day. The clouds seemed to race across the sky. New England has the most beautiful autumns on earth, and we had a lot of good weather days on that trip. Glad you enjoyed this. Thanks fordropping by.
Thanks for visiting "Down In Front", Helen. The kids really got into these dances. In the finale, the Indians gave a short class to the little ones. It was a real hoot.
Many thanks for stopping by "The Sentinel", Helen. This is my only published picture. At PJ's suggestion, I submitted this to Yankee Magazine. That old tree towers over the church in the background. It is perhaps the tallest maple I have ever seen. I think it is slightly taller than the one at the Emerson manse.
Hello Helen...Many thanks for taking the time to have a look at (DISTANT MOUNTAINS)and for your discriptive comments,it is very much appreciated...I just love going to Scoland for my summer holidays....Thankyou again Helen....All the best to you....Mick.
Thanks for visiting "Popcorn", Helen. The wife loved the red hybrids that she bought a couple of years ago. This spring we had to put a silver maple out of its misery. The new sunlit area was ideal for another myrtle. Judy found the same supplier and we planted it. Low and behold, last week, a change started taking place. More and more white blossoms have started appearing, but never more than one per cluster. Guess who will be collecting seeds this fall.
We had a girl in junior hi that blushed so hard, she didn't need nail polish on her toes... Well, almost. ;)
